Fun Shooter

I personally really like this game. For those of you that are very used to Halo 2 there's a little bit of getting used to because the controls are not as fast or as tight for that matter. Also there's very little auto-aim but that's a good thing because it's going to push your skill a little more. The campaign mode is pretty fun, though it's not the best story I've come across. I recommend playing co-op, seems more fun when you have a friend playing with you anyways. The main part of this game has to be the multiplayer. If you got LiVE go on find a game and start fragging. You can go in alone or split screen with some friends. If you don't have LiVE or there aren't enought people online for some reason, you can always add bots (you can adjust their skill level as well) to fill in the gaps. The game has an awesome array of weapons to choose from, pretty much all have a modern design with cool secondary features so most of the weapons are fun to use. If you're an FPS fan you should play this game just for the multiplayer factor :)

Not the best game out there, some fun action, but overall this is not the best game in the world. In fact, I was very disappointed with how boring this game is. My friend and I are playing the coop mode and we can't play for more than an hour at the time. If you have an extra $20 around, but this, if not I wouldn't waste my time.

I thought this game was really good because the game play was amazing. The graphics and weapons were a huge improvement from the orginal. the secondary in the weapons were all really unqiue and useful. The only thing I had a problem with was the voice acting and the plot holes. I liked it better when Joann Dark was a full agent and was bothered by her dad. Otherwise, it was pretty good.

I bought this game on November 22nd, when the Xbox 360 first came out. I liked it at first. I liked going level through level doing the missions BUT, the game is ONLY 13 missions? What trash is that? That is WAY to short in my opinion, but thats just me. Fun wise, this game is pretty fun, the guns and shooting is good. Could have been a little better but good enough. Good choice and range of guns. Good choice of missions and they make sense etc. The single player I think is better than the multiplayer, I wasnt shocked when playing the multiplayer it isnt nothing.

So get this ONLY, if you want a decent shooter, a game that is long enough, I RECOMMEND DEFINTAELY that you "RENT" this game first and foremost. Dont buy it first, RENT IT. I bet if your a good enough gamer you could beat this within 5 days lol easily. I beat it in ONE day so there you go.

Graphics - 5/5
Gameplay - 4/5
Longetivity - 2.5/5
Overall - 3/5

Perfect Dark Zero is one of the launch games for the X-box 360. First of all, launch games rarely take advantage of the full power of new consoles. Perfect Dark Zero is no exception. The biggest complaint is that the story mode is really cheesy and almost no fun to play. You get treated to a lot of pointless story plots and poor dialog which is so bad you might want to turn the sound off while you play. The character design is also really spotty, and I feel that they could have done a better job on a next generation console.

On the plus side, the deathmatch option is a lot of fun. The scale and design of the maps is wonderful and they look beautiful. You can also mix up the multiplay by adding bots. Since most people use FPS for deathmatch rather than the story mode, I can recommend picking this up until something better comes along.

This is a great game. The online play is virtually flawless. And I has a good one player story-line. I highly recommend this game if you like first person shooters.

this game is fun to play co-op but single gets kinda boring and repetitive, live isnt so great eithier. The first thing to note is that the game does look good and some weapons have some really neat features like a thermal type view that allows you to see friendlys and enemies easily etc the only 2 vehicles in the game are fun to play with but the hover craft in my opinion needs a lil more speed or a speed burst.the story line is anything but entertaining and makes you wish you could forward through the cut-scenes. so overall i gave it a 3 because i like the weapons and i had fun on the jungle level but the charecter you play with feels slow and the cover option is glitchy at most and basically it almost feels like a chore starting a new mission after youve passed one..i felt like ..."oh no! more of this run gun shoot enemies 1000 times before they die" another thing thats glitchy about the game is melee, you can basically run into an enemy lose sight of him because you basically went right passed him because he becomes almost see trhough when you get to close its almost as if your fighting a shadow. the physics of the game are also glitchy if you shoot a enemy near a wall chances are he will die standing as if you pinned him to the wall with your bullets, its not worth 60 bucks...def a rental or wait till the price drops. :p graw anyone? lol

Perfect Dark Zero was an Xbox 360 launch title and a pretty fun one at that. Usually launch titles aren't the greatest games a system has to offer, but are all in all a fun experience. The gameplay of this game is pretty much the same as any other first person shooter with new features that implement a great gaming time. In this game, you can dual wield like weapons (ala Halo 2) and you can lean against walls and peak around corners. This adds a whole new element to this game and makes it a lot of fun. The single player campaign (although short) is a lot of fun and worth playing at least 2 times through; one time by yourself and once co-op over Xbox Live. While playing through this game I noticed how good the graphics were and such an improvement between the xbox and the 360. Some people say that the graphics are too shiny, but I think that it looks amazing and for a launch title it's definitely up to par. Things like lighting and wall textures really took me by surprise with how good they looked. The story of the game is, on the other hand, a bit strange, confusing, and just plain wacky. I didn't really mind this as much as I though because it was the gameplay itself that kept me playing and not the confusing storyline. Overall, the single player game gets a solid 8/10.

The multiplayer game didn't live up to all the hype that it had gotten. I was expecting my next "Halo 2" to keep me hooked to my 360 all night. This was not the case. Its not that the graphics turned me off, or that it was a whole new changed experience, the game just didn't play as well over xbox live as I would have hoped. The aiming felt off and it seemed like such luck whenever I got a kill. Overall, the multiplayer experience is pretty much up to personal opinion. I know a lot of people who love it, others, like myself, who find it strange and unbalanced. It's definitely a rent for those wanting to play through a fun single player campaign, and for those who like what its multiplayer has to offer then they will probably buy it.

This is a fun game worth buying. The story is not bad, and the multiplayer is awesome! Now the game's like $25 which is a really good buy for such a great game.

As crazy as this may sound,if I was given a choice to either play Halo 3 online or the original Perfect Dark with three other people,I'd take Perfect Dark in a heartbeat. The multiplayer maps were great, the guns (and their second features) are incredible, and the ability to create your own character was the sweet icing on the cake. The original game absolutely destroyed my social life, along with a few of my friends as well.So if you can imagine I had extremely high hopes for Perfect Dark Zero, and in the end I was some what satisfied but more disappointed than anything.

For one the campaigns story is a JOKE.I know the original story wasn't anything special, but this is just terrible. The first half of the game you're running around with your dad,who is supposed to be literally the best secret agent in the entire world, yet he is constantly getting himself into trouble because he's so clumsy and seems to be a magnet for bullets.I don't know how this guy managed to survive all these years without Joanna, because she is saving his sorry life every other minute.
But for what the campaign lacks story wise,it makes up for in it's gameplay and graphics.A lot of the guns you know and love from the original make their appearance in this game.Don't expect to use them all to much in the campaign though because it is fairly short, and with a story like this you won't seem to mind.

The only other reason I can forgive this game is fun factor from the multiplayer.Even though Rare decided not to put maps from the original game, and it's other hit GoldenEye,it's still a blast.Especially by adding vehicles and jetpacks.

I don't regret buying this, even though it didn't live up to every little expectation I had.And for the low price it is now I'd recommend it to fans who haven't picked it up yet.

3.5/5.0
