gta3-the best

I've played a lot and a lot of games.And I think that this is one of the best games I've played.I have every system,and when I heard that its coming out I bought it on the first day.I like it a lot.It is just like Driver2 but they put cars from Grant Torismo 3.I like that I can listen to music in my Ferrari or Viper.I also like that I can pick up ladies,have fun with them,and after that beat them up to dead with a baseball bat and take my money back.It is really good that you can make money with taxi or ice-cream truck or fire truck,but I like just going around the streets and beat up people to get their money.If somebody gets to a phone and calls the police,I kill them.I like messing around with gandsters and kill them(or just take their weapons and money).I like getting the Ferrari from the garage and go run some people over.Its cool that you can save the cars in your garage and play with them whenever you want to.I'll get the pc version as soon as it comes out because it is more violent and has new things in it.

This game is phat or off the hook

You should get this game because it has cool graphics and it has some adult stuff.

This game has to be the crudest game ever made, I think the last game that was this bad was redneck rampage, this game has way too much mindless violence, which I guess apeals to simple minds, no plot, and gameplay which goes nowhere, I was so bored after an hour of playing this I poped in Max Payne and stated to re-play it after beating it. I would pass on this one, get HitMan 2 instead, at least that game does not stink as bad as this.

Man, when I got this game from my folks for the PS2, I thought, "Finally, a game that does not have Bert and Ernie's face on the cover. But then I put it into my PS2, and the game came on. Two horribly rendered fools in orange jumpsuits come out of a car and claim that they have just escaped from jail. "Come on," I think, "even I can beat those wimps up. And I could draw better bad guys than that too, looked like some six year old drew it." So then we drive down to some fools joint in the middle of town, and I get work. The first mission was so simple, it made playing Elmo's World seem like fun. Then I had to steal some fat dude's car and plant an explosive device in it. I ALMOST laughed when the man got out of the resturant and blew up in his car, but the graphics were so terrible that I puked instead. For older gamers looking for "fun" game, this definately isn't it. After driving around town for an hour, and gathering up your "Hoes" into a fishvan, you'll get sick of it, unless the terrible graphics killed you first, and then you'll drive your "happy" fishvan into off of a very tall building. But wait, after you've just ended your life in a heap of burning fish oil, and all that's left of you is a smelly crater, you're back alive? Yes friends, no matter how many times you kill yourself, you just keep coming back like it's Groundhog's Day. There is no end to the inhumanity. I am all for violence, don't get me wrong, but this game just isn't fun. There is only so many times that blowing stuff up can be fun, and when the graphics are of such low quality, the number of times is drastically reduced (to about -1)....

Its fun, but PS2 version is better.

The game is fun, but if you have a PS2, get it for that. This game lags a bit and gets tiring. You walk around a city trying to complete objectives and it gets really old, really fast. This game is alright...but if your into PC games get another.

I was just as surprised as anyone at first. Beautiful scenergy and landscapes; free roaming in a city; guns and blood.

My involvement in the game, however, ended shortly after 2 weeks of playing it. The missions, although creative, failed to spark my interest. The bad cut sequences (worse than in _Return of Castle Wolfenstein_, IMO) did little to encourage me to finish the missions and rather forced to simply prefer run around killing things.

Like I said: beautiful, but boring. The initial shock value wares off after but a few days. For me, considering I actually purchased a copy from here on Amazon.com, it was one of my worst spent $[amount].

a game base on Criminals? come on?

...and people think steal cars is fun... besides the graphics are not all that, good controls, good plot(for creating criminals), boring dark enviroment. So, this is a game focus on mature audience right? so, does mature people really likes violence and crime, then it should be for inmature audiences only.

I'm getting this game and some people say its for adults! NOT! From the other reviews I think this game is the BOMB! I'm also getting vice city. I"M playing vice city first. Go get this game on ebay. It's really cheap. I'm getting this game and vice city for only 10 bucks! The shipping and handling is $2.50. Thats really cheap compared to all the other shipping costs. Nice killing.

This game had so many conflicts with existing drivers on my system I never was able to play it (even though my system exceeds all recommendations and requirements stated). After spending 3 days writing exhaustive emails to so-called customer support, and downloading drivers for nearly every piece of hardware on my system, all their recommendations led up to the unsolvable error, "GTA3 requires at least 12MB of free video memory." I have 128MB of free video memory, but the game cannot recognize this. All my other games play with no hitches, but I will be returning this one.

Do not waste your [money] on this junk.Even if your system is above the recommended hardware you wont be able to run it properly.
I cant understand what the developers have done since i
have a 64 meg Ge Force VGA and an athlon xp cpu with 256 meg memory and the graphics are still choppy even under the
640 480 16 resolution.
This is the only game that doesnt run well on my pc.Just play the ps2 version and dont get near this.
