Rent it, don't buy it!

This game was fun and the graphics are great, but game play fun is limited. In about 12 hours of playing, I had unlocked every bonus item. While you may get a few days of enjoyment from this game, it's definitely now worth buying.

I have ONE thing to say: BUY THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS GAME AWSOME!!! IT IS THE BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED!! I think that this game was better than Lego Star Wars(I played Revenge of the Sith and Lego Star Wars)! So if you have a hard time decideing for Lego Star Wars and the Rvenge of the Sith game, I sujest the Revenge of the Sith game! And this game is not short.

this game is the best and if you have this game, I will tell you a cheat to get Darth Vader.First you have to get as much coins as posible in all the episodes and you will get the 4th movie.

This has got to be one of the better star wars games to be released! In gameplay a second player can start playing just by pressing the start button! It features roughly 50 playable characters including Darth Vader!You can play through episodes 1 to 3, Including the bonus level...
And has good replay value! A must have for any PS2 owning Star Wars fan!

Overall I think that Lego Star Wars is a great game. It's great for Lego or Star Wars game fans. My dad and I went to buy this for my sister on her birhtday. I am 10 years old and I can't put the game down.

Many people said that LEGO Star Wars was a cheap and badly made game designed for children with boring and repetitive levels. However, though I disagree with the fact it is a cheap and badly made childrens game, I do agree that some would find it repetitive. 99% of games are. This game however is one of the best game's released so far in 2005 and is great for people of all ages. I myself thoroughly enjoyed the game and it's entertaining cutscenes which makes some of the dramatic scenes more funny than sad. You'll play through Episodes 1, 2 and 3 unlocking star ships and buying characters along with the odd hint or two. What makes this game stand out? Many like the fact that there are several different "types" of character. For example there are the Jedi who can use the force, gunners who can grapple to secret areas, astormech droids can open special doors and so on. With 17 levels and over fourty characters ( 46 to be exact ), ranging from the great Jedi Master Yoda to the Sith Lord Darth Vader and even the newest villian to the Star Wars Saga, General Grevious. But perhaps one of the most fun things about this game is that you will see there is much replay value as you replay each level to get all the LEGO Canisters and True Jedi Status. Overall, LEGO Star Wars is a game so unique and different that it has caught many peoples attention.

All of the different levels of play are great. Everyone who reviewed the game as being 4-5 stars were right. I read where one person gave it 1 star because it came on a blue disc. I had no problem as many others obviously playing it on our PS2's. Also you cannot say the game itself was bad if you never played it. I think that was an unfair review.

My grandson is playing it right now with a friend and laughing and excited. It has helped him to pay more attention to details to find the hidden lego parts. He loves to be able to play with a friend or his mom and he loves to be able to play the different characters.

What do I love about it? NO BLOOD AND GUTS SHOWN!! Just lego pieces flying. I hope Legos comes out with another game just as kid friendly and adult friendly for those of us who get tired of the brain matter splattered everywhere. There is no sense to that kind of violence in kids games or teen games.

My five year old is now into Star Wars, and I am an old fan. It was so much fun to be able to share with him and both get a fun and exciting time playing a game together. This game is challenging and fun, giving enough to stimulate the older players and easy enough to keep the younger ones interested.

The best features including being able to drop out of a level if need be, as well as being able to have a second player exit and enter the game at will. This feature will even allow either controller do this! In free play mode, you may take any character into any level.

I can't wait to see if they release a Lego Harry Potter version...

My (almost 5 year old) son and I love to play this game together. It held his interest for 6 to 9 months of regular play. We've almost completed the entire game at this point so it has become less interesting to him. We played for 30 minutes to 2 hours at least a few days a week. I like the game quite a bit and enjoyed having a game that I can casually join or drop out of cooperative play with him.
This game is a good purchase if you have younger children.
