Probably one of the best Star Wars games EVER!!!

Alright, when I first heard about this game I thought it would be boring and hardly worth my time but boy, was I WRONG! This is a great game next to Revenge of the Sith. You get to play episodes 1 through 3 and unlock secret characters, extras and even a Bonus level, Episode 4! It's easy to beat I'll admit but the game has great replay value thanks to free play mode and the 2 player Drop in and Drop out mode. Just remember that if you decide to play Episode 3, there are a few spoilers in store so choose wisely. A game worth buying if you're a Lego or Star Wars fan! This was a review from your old pal, DC.

LOVED IT

My son and I love this game. It is our favorite. He's young, 3 1/2, but he can do most of the stuff after a bit of practice. We couldn't wait to get Darth Vader. I wish it didn't have to end. Hopefully LEGO will come out with another quality game like this. We're hooked!!

good game

I think this is a good game, but it is way to short. I got the vader level in 5 hours and thats how long I played. It did have multyplayer though which made me play with freinds. The best part of the game is the humor and the amount of lego people you can be. like General Grivious and even a droideka. All in all it is beter than the movie game. So buy this one first.

A big hit at our house

At first we had trouble getting this disc to play but after doing some research, we did the "scotchtape trick" and we haven't had any problems since.

Our kids LOVE this game - it's easy enough for our 4 year old and still exciting enough for our 10 year old. They like using the Force on objects and slapping silly moustaches on the Princess. They also enjoy changing characters in the Free Play mode.

This game combines the excitement of Star Wars with the kid-friendliness of Legos and results in hours of good clean fun.

Rent, dont buy unless you are a beginner.

Ah, LEGO star wars. A good fun game for anyone. After a month or less of playing LSW you will have beaten the game and you will be tired of it. If you have just started playing 3-dimensional games (Ps2, Xbox Gamecube, or PSP) then you should buy LSW because it introduces you to a certain level of difficulty. Anyone between the ages 5 to 70 can play this game, that's true, but you are introduced to platforming, consequenses of death, action and co-op. Beginners shold really buy this game unless they do not like star wars.
This interactive experience is summerized in three words: fun, simple, and tiring.

The best feedback I can give on this game is that it was great for my son and I. If you have children and they like to play video games this is a good pickup. Other reviewers touched on the game mechanics and playability nicely, but if you want to play a game with your kid on his Playstation 2 then this is it.

You play cooperatively and the game is not terribly difficult and we were both laughing romping around with our little lego Star Wars characters. This sets it apart from other games because you don't have to fight each other or take turns. You both grab a controller then run around having fun in Episode I through III. There isn't anything scary and even some of the darker parts of Episode III are tamed down.

Definately a good pickup if you are looking for a game to play with your kid that you BOTH will enjoy.

I love lego StarWars. If you try it, so will you. You need to memorize who can do what, and explore. Are you under 7? this game will actually exercise your beginning logic in a fun way! (Are you listening, parents?) Yes, older kids, you get opportunities to injure/kill people/robots. (you're only really separating lego elements) Overall, it's a great game.
BUY IT! JW, age 11

This game is well better than the offical (and competing) game for Starwars!! Its got good graphics, its easy to play, it has a multiplayer AND you can change too anyone on freeroaming which is Great!! The real game is too fast, bright and blurry! Who'd want that!?!? Get the better Starwars game out of the two and get the lego version!! Its soo funny what happends when things get shifted by the force or sliced up!

Awesome game for all ages

This is a great game for anyone. Me and my 6 year old son is playing this game everyday. Being Lego based it doesn't scare the young ones, but the story is still true to the older gamers.

When playing two player mode, you play together and the points and other bonuses are combined. This is one of the coolest way I've seen two player mode, rather than fighting against each other.

I LOVE IT!!!
