this is the best game. fighting, story mode, varieties of diferent soldures, a quest mode(the coolest because it helps your game) and tons of magic spells which is my favorite. It isnt hard or complicated. it was not the kind of game i expected but it is just as good. i would recomend it to you people who like fighting games.

The best GBA game ever to come!

This game is amazing! It is much like FFT for the playstation. It has amazing graphics and exciting, dangerous, and mysterious game plots. And the best part is that you can construct your own team! Yes, isn't it unbeliveable! I HIGHLY recomend this game for anybody who likes the Final Fantasy series, the Breath of Fire series, and the Legend of Legia series.

The reason I bought GBA. This game is part of the saga to end all sagas. I love every part of the Ogre Battle/Tacttics Ogre saga and they all were GREAT. Also Atlus is a Wonderful RPG/SIM game maker. So buy Tactics Ogre for GBA and check out the other great games made by Atlus

Tactics Ogre:TKoL is.. well, ultimate. Why? Well, I started this genre of games (which is sadly small, and filled with.. er.. lackluster games.) with FFT, which is pretty much the leader of it's class. However, Tactics Ogre, albeit a lesser known series, is equally good in it's own right. How? Well, while it doesn't have the insanely deep job system of FFT, it's job system gets the job done in an entirely different way, unlocking classes as you level and improve your stats rather than by going up in other classes. The myriad of items, and the fact that several of them require you to trade with friends or play Quest Mode several times until you get /really/ good, is also entertaining and provides a reward for the people who really get deep into the game. All in all, this game proved to be more than something to 'distract' me until FFT-Advance came out - it started an entirely new addiction. All in all, a quite fantastic game, with an incredible amount of depth - if you devote enough time to it.

Warning! Do Not Waste Your Money, It's Not Worth It!

I know this game has been nominated as the Editor's Choice, but as for me, it falls way, way behind in my list of top games.
I'm a big fan of strategy games, I love games that challenges players instead of making them go through insipid level of non-stop violence.
But, please, don't let the first word of this game's title (Tactics) fool you, because I assure, you need none to win.
The game is not as challenging as you expected it to be, its just to easy and short! The more than 40 hours of gameplay is just another "Tactic" used by Atlus to fool consumers into buying their carefully veneered products.
Please people save your money and spend it on a more worthy Gameboy Game, like Zelda.
I hear that there will be a Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game for the Gameboy, I'm not too thrilled about, Square's or should I say Square Enix's new Fantasy game, there just using the same "strategy" used by Atlus, which is getting pretty old by now; remember Pokemon?
Top Games To Consider:
1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past/Four Swords: Whats not to love about Zelda games, huh?! Challenging levels, expansive world to explore, graphics aren't too nice, but who cares, its tolerable; overall, one sweet gem that all hard core gamers must own.
2. Advance Wars- now here's a game that will make you think, and once your done, you get to start a new campaign with tougher bosses; definitely high replay value.
The sequel is coming out soon: Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.
3. Golden Sun & and Golden Sun 2: Tight graphics, and well sort of interesting storyline, but gets a little annoying, except if you have gameshark, trying to level up.

P.S.: A new Zelda game will be hitting Gameboy soon, be on the lookout!

I got a copy and this is a very good game. It isn't the Super Falcion version but its still very good. Also I would think it could have been better if they sticked with the previous system and not a turn based on because it made sence that if you didn't do anything in one turn you would go quicker the next because you didn't use up stamina. It helped because if you are tring to reach a group of archers they attack and walk away which gives them a lot of time to wait, while you run up at them only which means you are using less actions and should go again before them. This makes the game a little harder but you only have 8 people in your army which lowers the amount you have to kill by 2(also lowers your army size but I don't really mind). Other than that this is a very good game because of its well thought out story line and characters.
