One of the best games I've played. The environments are massive and highly interactive. You can climb almost anything, everything and everyone reacts to you and your actions. Fantastic! Lots of game play time. Excellent storyline.

Nice so far

I bought the game today from gamestop for $54.99 used "yea, I'm stupid". Well I don't have no HDTV or just a sony Wega and it looks fantastic. The graphics are nice and the details are even better. I guess the aim is to kill 9 people and so far I haven't been able to kill one yet. I guess when I have time to really focus then I'll get a hang of it but I like what I've seen so far. Oh, it's strange that sony advertise this remote play with the PSP and so far none of the games I'm trying to play to play off the PSP.

I just have this game for 1 month and it's very complete rpg and good for me, it has so many challeges, it's dificult, but that's makes it more interasting, so many quests, things to find, things to do, and the graphis for me, playing it on a HDTV and in 1080i, it really looks amazing!

I love it. Have a great time and good luck.

Great Game, Terrible Ending.

Simply blown away by the graphic details in the game. While other gamers have talked about the missions being repetitive, i found it a nice challenge to decide how i was going to accomplish the mission. I would make a trip to the location and do a little recon. Along the way, take time out to collect flags. Not too sure what would happen if all the flags were collected. Do i get extra weapons or revelations? Perhaps the game would end differently? The last couple of flags in the cities are always the hardest to find. Almost threw up from focussing too hard on finding flags though.

For an Assassin, i'm surprised that Altair can't swim. If he could leap tall buildings, and have the skills to take on a couple dozen soldiers at once, surely he would have been trained to swim as well. My character has died a few times jumping into a body of water even though i wasn't aiming in that particular direction.

The game has a tendency to hang in the first few minutes upon starting up the first time for the day. It usually works fine on the 2nd start up and can be played for hours with no problems at all.

What's up with soldiers coming back to stand around the same rooftops i killed them at earlier in the game?

Didn't like the ending at all. Kinda weak. I couldn't figure out what i was supposed to do with all the written words and symbols on the walls and floor. Was i supposed to escape the facility?

great in bursts repetitive

i bought the game after all the great reviews i have read but after playing for a few hours i realized that it is extremily repetitive and you will find yourself doing the same thing over and over! i eventually stopped playing a month ago and havent played since

Great for new gamers

I really like this game. Even though I own several video game systems, I wouldn't call myself a gamer. I prefer games that multiple people can play at the same time. Usually, I get bored with first person games, but this one really rocks! The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is great, especially for a novice like me. The concept of the is good while the story line has me intrigued enough to keep on playing.

Building towards a climax....too bad the climax is in the sequel

Talk about your hyped game. This game was talked up to be the game that people bought thier PS3s for this past holiday season. Then the game was no longer a PS3 exclusive. Bummer, but I was still pumped. The game definately started out differently than I thought, but I trudged on. The first two levels were amazing and extremely fun to play. Interesting concept and story. It is quite unfortunate that the last levels were idendical to the first two. This game suffered from serious monatamy.

I understand that UBISOFT created the most reactive contextual environments seen in a game. The crowd reacts to everything you do. Brilliant. They also created some stunning visuals and amazing areas. The problem is that everything looks the same. The combat system is fairly underdeveloped. Once you get the counterattack in level 3, Altair can essentially take on 25 soliders at once without much difficulty. I would have appreciated a deeper combat system.

All of this silliness (seriously after you lay the deathblow on someone, time and the guards freeze so you can converse) aside, Anyone who beat this game knows the true aggravation is the ending. I don't even think that we can call this an ending. The last battle was a welcome change of pace, but far too easy. The ending wasn't even an ending, it was your character staring at a wall. I understand the meaning of symbolism and building tension, but this is ridiculous. When the sequel drops, take a cue with better combat and some story progression.

Interesting change of pace, but it repeatative. Pick up a used copy.

Interesting Concept for a Game

Prince of Persia-esque. Have not yet played the entire game out just yet so I can't make a completely informed judgement about it as of yet. From what I understand the storyline is kind of weak at the end and reminds people of being like Metal Gear Solid in that it is to be a trilogy of sorts. Im rather excited to complete it and continue in the series.

Bottom Line: Hyped up but delivers on the premise of something FRESH!

Too repetitious bored after a few hours.

After a few hours I was bored to death of doing the same thing again, and again. The graphics and sound are nice. But every location pretty much looks the same. I've put in maybe 8 or so hours, and find nothing to draw me back to the game. Perhaps more different looking locales would have helped. More varied missions, perhaps some underground "sewer" missions.

So if you're a picky gamer, which few people are. Save your $. I've been gaming since 1977, and find most stuff very un-original, un-inspired, or just plain boring like this.
