Fun game!

This game has been alot of fun for me to play. I'm continually impressed with the quality of the graphics in this game along with the gameplay itself. Some of the fights can get a little gruesom, ie: Altier likes to stab swords through peoples chests, but I'm sure it's mild compared to other games out there.

Great Game Great adventure

When I heard and see the videos about this game, my initial thought was this game is a Prince of Persia, but no, this game has some aspects from prince, but the rest and story are different, its makes you think how to finish the missions, transport you to a new(in this case old)age, the adventure and the strategy never stop.

I recommended for people who like this type of game, with adventure, strategy and action.

Somewhat Impressed.........Visually Anyway

When I first bought this game and turned it on I was awe struck by the visuals. From the sprawling cityscapes to the immense crowds and networks of streets this game is vast and ascetically pleasing but once I got into the game I was very under whelmed. With all the time they spent developing this game you would think that they would have focused a little more on the technical aspects of the game such as the AI. The guards are ridiculous and easily defeated in fact if you know how to press the square button and R1 at the same time consecutively while fighting you will be literally invincible. Where the developers succeeded was in some of the characters movements such as climbing and jumping off buildings very fluidly but other than that the game is very tiresome and repetitive.

Every time you go on a new mission it's the same thing every time!! You sneak into the city with the scholars, climb some viewpoints to find other information, interrogate someone, pick pocket, save a citizen (if you feel like it) then assassinate someone. That's it!! Besides the cinematic sequences and a few other perks such as throwing knives this game is a big let down because it is extremely easy and offers no challenge whatsoever. If you want to show off your new HD TV to your friends then pop this game in and let them play it for five minutes but other than that you are wasting $60 of your hard earned money. I just feel as though this game lacks in originality and hopefully if there is a second game they will work out all of the problems because they had a chance to do something really special with this game but they missed it somehow better luck next time!

Great visuals

Ok this game like every one says looks good...but it gets old fast. You go to one city and back to your town, then to another city back to your town, to the last city back to yours. There is some neat stuff between and in the towns but it gets really OLD fast. over all though its a cool game. good story line and all but if you get tired of games fast I would stay away from it.

Amazing Visuals and Scope, but repetitive play

I'll keep this short and simple because most of this has already been said. Assassins Creed has amazing graphics, it really does take your breath away at times. The controls are well thought out and the world is very large and immersive. That being said, the game doesn't deserve 5 stars because the missions are very repetitive. Sure they get slightly more difficult in the game, but when it comes down to it you are still doing the same thing over and over.

If your the type the plays through several games at one time and take a few weeks or months to finish a game then this is a great game for you. But if you like to play a game straight through and then move on to the next game, then this might be little boring for you. This is still a really good game and will hopefully lay the ground work for great future games.

Ever since getting a Playstation, I've been waiting for a game with a large-scale city, with civilians that react to me and my presence, I just did'nt think I'd have to forfet gamepalya nd overal fun to get it. Assasin's Creed does give me 3 gorgeous, open-ended cities with all the skyscraping towers an acrobatic bad-ass could ever want, but besides that, theres nothing. Although I wanted a responsive city, I was hoping for a little more than platoons of bare-knuckle brawling lunitics and in-your-face beggars that will constintly blow your cover in the same 5 recycled missions.

The only motive that compelled me to play, was the historical-hitman storyline with a 21st century perspective that lines itself up right for the inevitable sequal. Cutscenes are free-moving with alternating camera angle options that where an obivious nod to Half-Life 2. Giving the protagonist Altiar, Anikin Skywalker characteristics made me feel like I was truly a Med-Evil Jedi. Especialy in the counter-combat animations, which were totally sick, even if the control scheme was a total button masher.

Very good game. As I bought it together with GTA, GRID, MGS4 and other 3 excelent game, I am not playing much Assassins, because as you can see I bought TOP games and it is hard to choose which one to play in my short available time.
But I can see that it has excelent graphics, gameplay and lots of fun stuff to do. I recommend.

As far as history goes, the game developers have done their research accurately. The game is fun over all, but killing templars over and over and over gets pretty boring because you have to go to different cities, and that takes a very long time.

I would recommend it for any action adventure lover. If you are into shooting games like gears of war, or uncharted, PLEASE DONT BUY THIS GAME, you will be very bored.

Excelent Action Game!!

This is a must have game for PS3. The most realistic stunning graphics ever seen on a game. Great moves and control in game. Great story.
