I'll be the first to tell you that I had my doubts about Halo 3. Having never played the first to chapters of Halo, I wasn't sure about jumping in to it this late in the game. I can honestly say now, the hype is justified. Even my wife, who's not a gamer in the least, loved this game. The online play is amazing! What a huge network! I even liked the offline story mode, even though I was a little bit in the dark concerning what was going on... If you ever find youself stationed on some tiny island in the middle of nowhere, you'll definately spend a great many hours tooling around with this game.

This is a great game. The story is fun to follow but it get boring and repetitive at some points. On the other hand it has amazing game play at other points such as the air fight in the level "The Covenant". The game really gets its 5 out of 5 from the multi player. this game is not complete with out X-Box Live. The online gaming community is amazing. Although as any new game there are a few kinks that have to be worked out. I love the way that they rank the matches. Another new thing is the level editor called forge, where you can change almost an part of the level you want. There is also Theater mode which lets you watch any over your recent games whether it be campaign or custom. My favorite part is that i can go on to Bungie.net and download pictures films or games that other people have created and play them my self. over all i give this game a 5 out of 5 and i think all should buy it.

My discs came scratched and I had to exchange them! The second set came a bit better but still scratched. The game itself is great! I played through it with my brother and it was tons of fun!

halo is a great game but the box is not a good product, is a limited edition but the disc come with a little scrach and the service that microsoft ofered to change de game is not good, so complicaded to aperson whhad to wait 3 weeks o more for the game

This is the best value of the tree versions. It includes the game itself, a book describing all of the species in Halo, and a Essentials Disc.
The game is awesome. The lighting effects are so realistic that you'll swear the water is real. There is plenty to do in the game once you finish the campaign. Finding skulls is one of them along with earning achievements, unlocking new armor pieces, and a lot (i mean a lot) of multiplayer gameplay online and off.
Perhaps its a good thing that the discs come scratched. Up until December 31st, Microsoft will replace your Halo 3 discs for free. Plus... They sent me the added bonus of 1 MONTH OF XBOX LIVE FREE!!! Its truly worth it and I am very happy with my purchase. This is a must-own game for any Xbox 360 owner. Definitely recommend it!

The game is great and it was money well spent....however there is the problem with the disc and I have to return it to the company by Decemeber, but that was at no fault to Amazon or the other parties involved with the transaction.

Great game, so vastly improved over the second iteration in the single player experience that it really went above and beyond tweaking the game in most of the right places. I can't fault this game, I play it to much to fault it without being a hypocrite.
