Wow. This is by far the greatest video game ever made by man. It makes Super Mario Bros. Look like a game of ring around the rosy. My co-op buddy actually said, and i quote:"Theres too much of everything. If I'm killing fictional aliens then i want guns that arn't real too." Buy the game. buy 2 copies in case the first one gets lost. Basically god on a disk.

To respond to all of Bungie's inveracities would take up too much room and time.

I would like to address the most malicious ones, though. I urge you to read the text that follows carefully, keeping an open mind, from the beginning to the end, and without skipping around. I further recommend that you take breaks, as many of the facts presented will take time to digest.

We must let Bungie know, in no uncertain terms, that it has done inestimable damage to everything around it. Those who claim otherwise do so only to justify their own contemptible conclusions. If we are powerless to make some changes here, it is because we have allowed Bungie to keep a close eye on those who look like they might think an unapproved thought. My vision that some day, people everywhere will say "no" to Bungie's irritating roorbacks is an inspiring dream. Unfortunately, reality always awakens me and reminds me that I've heard Bungie say that you and I are inferior to mindless lumpenproletariats. Was that just a slip of the lip or is Bungie secretly trying to render unspeakable and unthinkable whole categories of beliefs about power? The complete answer to that question is a long, sad story. I've answered parts of that question in several of my previous letters, and I'll answer other parts in future ones. For now, I'll just say that it has been said that those who think that it has the trappings of deity should think again. I, in turn, claim that it is doing everything in its power to make me abandon all hope. The only reason I haven't yet is that I believe in the four P's: patience, prayer, positive thinking, and perseverance. Lastly, for those who read this review, I hope you take it to heart and pass this message on to others.

Like many other people, I had pre-ordered this and was really looking forward to it. Once I started playing, I was overcome with irritation. The controls suck, the plotline sucks, the graphics aren't even that incredible.

Nothing makes up for the shortcomings.

I went out and bought a Wii and Metroid instead, and suggest you consider the same before wasting your money on this game.

Worth it, or not worth it. That is the question

This is for good ol billy. You make entirely too much money to be hiring cheap labors to create a crappy case for Halo 3 Limited Edition. You should change your company name from microsoft to non-micomanaged. However the game play is ok since I had to borrow someone else's disk.

Best of The Series

Halo 3 is the newest release from Bungie of the Halo series. This game is is a combination of great graphics, unbelievable game-play, and an amazing storyline that will answer all your questions from Halo 1 and 2. Halo 3 is all the great elements that made Halo 1 and 2 great games plus more. In addition to online campaign co-op, there is unbelievably awesome maps and features in the multi-player mode. There is a new feature added to several maps called the "Man Cannon". It is a gravitational device that launches you straight forward into the sky. Another cool feature is the equipment.(Also used in the campaign mode) The equipment are devices that help you in different situations while battling. An example is the popular bubble shield. Dropping this device will automatically make a huge shield that guards you from all weapon fire from the outside. The only disadvantage is that an enemy can penetrate the barrier by simply walking into it. Another great new feature is the forge. It is a system in which you can customize any map by placing vehicles weapons, spawn points, etc. wherever you want on the map. Other players can walk around on the map while it is being customized. The final thing is the bonus disk. It has tons of bonus features including early game development and final touches. A definite MUST for Die-hard Halo fans. All these features and more, much more are what make Halo 3 such a great game that anyone can have over hours and hours of fun with. However, if you are not 18 or older, you will need to have a parent or guardian buy it for you. Also There is a new Halo game coming out in April 2008, Halo wars. So make sure you get to your local EB Games or Gamestop to pre-order. Buy Halo 3 and have lots of fun playing it!!! And just so you know the Limited Edition Halo 3 Is in fact VERY durable and the only reason that some disks were damaged were because of a shipping problem and possibly factory error in putting the disks in securely. The case does hold the game in very well and it will make your disk last longer because of its design.

Just Another Game

This was way overhyped. Yes it was fun and that's why I gave it four stars as a fun factor. However, I thought Halo 1 and 2 were also fun.

This game is way to short (8 Hours on Legendary), the story is kind of boring, and it just didn't seem like it was the end of the trilogy. I expected a lot more and I was disapointed.

As a Halo fan, this game is a must to play. But if you are a fan of just playing video games and you don't care that much about the Halo franchise, I would go with Gears of War, Bioshock, or just wait for Mass Effect.

Damaged Discs.

The Discs for this game arrived and were scratched.

The game was returned.

My understanding is that the issue has been a common problem with the Limited Edition packaging

Halo 3 very limited and not able too play

The package is defective with the way the disks are sent in it by the vendor. Someone goofed in their marketing concept. The disks come off the support and fly around in the package thus scratching them and making them useless to play.Go back to the old ways of shipping disks in a case or sleeve soo they won't come off and get scratched. This is a problem all over the net with the Halo 3 Limited Edition. This is frustrating when it is given to your son at Christmas and now the waiting game happens of going through all the hassle of returning them.

(Only played campain single player)in this respect good game, not great. Not enough diversity in wheapons. Can't up grade armor. I know this game was built for online play and to create very skilled game play for compatitions but just would be nice to have an outstanding campain game that had so much hipe.

Very Good Game
