The game does fall off it's holder in the special edition, and ours did come scratched, but it still played fine. It was $20 cheaper on Amazon than it was at the store so I can't complain. Just be aware when ordering the special edition that you may not be so lucky and your scratches could be worse.

All three orders of H3 were damaged!!!!!!!!

The first order of Halo 3 Limited Edition was damaged. I purchased it from Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they sent out a replacement. The replacement was damaged aswell. The disc's had dislodged from the bracket which held them in place. The disc moved around during shipment and were scatched. I contacted Amazon and wanted a resolution immediately!! They refunded my money and I ordered another Halo 3. I informed Amazon of the suspected cause of the damaged disc's before the third game was shipped. I had to argue with them for free and fast delivery but they finally gave me free overnight shipping. I also had originally used a gift certificate towards a portion of the total cost. Unfortunately Amazon does not keep the certificate code in their records and I had already discarded the certificate. After arguing with them again about the gift certificate, they gave me the amount off the game. After all of the arguing and disapointment, the third game arrived and was damaged more then the first two put together. I had enough!! I called Amazon again and requested a full refund including the gift certificate. I have ordered many items from Amazon and never had a problem. This is the first time I have ordered a game from Amazon AND IT WILL BE MY LAST!!! I will continue to order other types of items. I seem to have better luck with the other type orders.

Could have been longer, needs more multiplayer maps. Online is just plain. Could use upgrades to make it better.

I got Halo 2, wait! It says 3 but it's like 2? Is it? No. Hu? But, yeah it's 3.

Well there is next to no difference between Halo 2 and 3. The story is more confusing and you get 3 new vehicles and 3 new guns. Another alien race wold have been nice. Playing the brood would have been cool too. Having the old vehicles look a little different would have been great as well. Having Halo 3 end with the same car ride level as 2 was really really lame. They could have done lots and lots of cool things they just didn't do. I feel like I paid for a new game and got one I already owned.

This has been discovered to be the scratched up version, hence the discount. After buying this, gamers will need to contact MS for a replacement disc... waste of time.

Its a great game and my boyfriend absoultely LOVES it. but when it came, the cds had come out of the case and were scratched...so..ya

OK is a fun game I love it but the limited editions CD is scratch so is bad and good I say go with a different one my halo 3 limited edition only lasted a weeks and I know they all are scratch I got three of them.

i just received mine set of Halo 3 LE. It came really scratched. I requested replacement from Amazon. If the replacement arrives scratched, I will request replacement from MS.

This edition of this item has an intrinsic manufacturing defect. The disc will come loose from the storage hub, and then it will rattle around inside a large space getting scratched during shipment all of the way to you. Amazon will take the item back, but why deal with the aggravation. This is a known problem, and Amazon keeps shipping these out to customers anyway. If you must have this item, look for it locally and try to find one that is not loose inside the packaging.

Personally, I think this game sucks. That's just me though, a lot of people love it. My FPS choice is Rainbow Six: Vegas. To me Halo 3 is too arcade like, not realistic at all. I was annoyed by the game and one level the music really annoyed me. The packaging sucks too like most other new game packaging does. The disc was loose inside the case on arrival.

On the plus side this game as great graphics...
