EA Games does it again!!

Graphics: 10/10
They are absolutely amazing. My dad came into my room when I was playing, and he asked if it was a movie! He could not believe it was a game, I had to CONVINCE him by moving Harry around in circles! Best graphics I have ever seen on any system, they are simply breathtaking and truly bring the game to life.

Sound: 10/10
Sound quality is amazing, the voices are VERY real and the background music is excellent, not annoying at all.

Control: 10//10
Control is perfect, you can customize the spell buttons to any place you want, wich is great. Harry is very easy to move around, with three different speeds (Sneak, Walk and Run) at a diff positions on the control stick. When shooting spells at objects they are very very easy to hit right on target, excellent aiming system!

Gameplay: 10/10 TONS upon tons of different levels, different places, all exciting and thrilling in they’re own way!

Fun Factor: 10/10 This game is an absolute blast! You will NEVER get tired of this game, right till the very end!

Story Line: 10/10 it follows the book very well. Some things are different, but they were only changed to be “playable” a lot of great original ideas where added into the game, creating MANY new special tasks for Harry to complete like SAVING Ron from the Whomping Willow!

Annoyance: 9/10 Having to “meet” the chars everywhere tends to get on ones nerves but it’s not too bad. Also sometimes the Camera angels can get a bit touchy, but with the yellow control stick, you can move them to the spot you want!

Memory Card: 10/10 only takes up 5 blocks on your card, AMAZING for the quality of graphics this game has!!

Overall: 10!!! This game is an asset and will be a star to any collection. Buy it now, you will NOT regret it!!!!!!

This is one of those games that you'll play over and over again! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the graphics on this game. You play as Harry Potter which is nothing you don't all ready know. Playing this game is like being a student at Hogwarts. You can sneek out of bed at night and fly around the enormous Hogwarts campus if you'd like! This game also features a full season of quiditch!Whatch out for those Blodgers! EA games has really done it this time.J.K Rowling worked close hand with the makers of the game to make sure the game was a close to perfect match to the book. This game really dose follow the book so have fun and don't get petrified. This is by far one of the greatest games I have seen in years! I would reckomend trying this game!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secret: A Must Buy

You never know what to expect from a videogame based on a popular license. But, to me, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets hasn't fallen victim to any of the unfortunate failings that become so many of these types of games. It's, in fact, a very well done 3D adventure game filled with a fun quest, challenging puzzles and an intuitive control scheme and magic system. It reminds me a lot of Zelda, actually, which is a great thing. That's not to say it's perfect. Some of the puzzles lack the intensity of those in Zelda and there is a level of redundancy in some of the challenges, but for the most part it's all still something of an addiction.

I think that just about anybody will get his or her money's worth with this game. But for genuine Potter fans, this is an absolute must buy. The way in which developer Eurocom has brought Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, Quidditch and the cast of the Potter books to life in videogame form is brilliant. There is so much to see and do in the Harry Potter universe here that the game is practically a virtual library of Potter related locations, items, and characters. And the topper is that the Chamber of Secrets storyline is presented with equal flair and detail.

A wild ride through Harry's world!

I previewed this game recently and I am astonished at the quality of the graphics! I reviewed the game on three different platforms (PS2, Gamecube and XBox) and the graphics engine is exceptionally good. Gameplay is challenging, and although younger kids will no doubt have some problems with many of the button sequences, I think any child five or older will get something out of this game. There is no question this will be the hit of the holiday season so order now!

When most older people hear the words "HARRY POTTER" they think of children. That's also what I thought to when i first heard of it. The whole story had the word kid written all over it. But then I sat down and read it, and now to me it has a whole new meaning. Now, being a fan, when I heard there was a game coming to gamecube I was so excited, but still I had played a Harry Potter game the year before on playstation and it wasn't that great. Well, I read a preview for it in a magizine and my thoughts changed yet again. The creators added a new spice to it that makes it look absolutely amazing! The pictures and graphics were slick, and the storyline, following the book's, was great. I can't wait till this game comes out in time for the movie. I would say you are nuts if you are not interseted in this game!

I see only one problem with this game, There are only six days in the school year! Although it still a wonderful game I'd say its a bit short. But for people who like short games this is the game for you. My favorite part of the game is that after you finish classes for the day, you can go out side and fly around the campus on you Nimbus 2000.
The game is only short because it dosen't take that long to do alot of the things, the game play is detailed and fun:
You start out by crashing the Weasley's car into their front gate, "Welcom to the Burrow, Harry" says ron. after that you spend some time wondering around the yard, ending the day with a little gnome tossing. The next day you go to Diagon Alley but end up in Knockturn Alley and have to find your way out. Then you meet up with the Weasleys again and Ginny tells you she lost her stuff, when you find it all you and the Weasleys go to the book store where you meet Gilderoy Lockheart, then Ron bursts in saying you've missed the train. You crash the Car into the Womping Willow, and have to fight it to get Ron out of its cluches. Term at Hogwarts has begun.

Recently I was forced to rent this game from blockbuster for a cousin of mine who is fascinated by the Harry Potter world. I was dragging my feet to the check out counter thinking that I would have rather played some other game but when I got home and saw my cousin having fun with the game I decided to take a shot. Superb graphics and linear yet non-linear game play makes this game fun for everyone especially with the detail that the game programmers used to bring aspects of the books to electronic life. The puzzles are challenging, but not so hard that they are frustrating and the replay value is very good.

he will be in mortal danger"

Yes, the quote that stop everyone's hearts for a few seconds. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a great game, usually, games that are based off other medias such as Books or Movies aren't really much enjoyable or acceptable but Harry Potter is an exception. The Game starts off "after" Harry arrives at the Weasley's where you learn a trick or two, then you shop at Diagon Alley, and then after that you begin your quest to Horwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As you go through your quest, you will be given the chance to collect various Wizard Cards, which has quite an interesting amount of information but it will not affect gameplay much unless you want to trade with the other students at the school. Wizard Cards for Hogwarts are as big as Pokemon Cards were awhile ago for us.

Ron Weasley, Hermoine Granger, Fred and George Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle, Professor McGonnal, Professor Snape, Headmaster Albus Dumbledore and all the other characters of the Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets book all in the game! Have fun duels with the Slytherins, there's many ways to defeat a wizard at a duel, have fun learning the various ways. You will also eventually run into cursed merchandise, and will have to duel them too, for example BookCases and Washing Machines! Quite fun as well. Throwing Ghomes (A Disgusting, Goofy Creature) across the field is awesomely fun.

and....

who could forget the great, the spectaculiar, fast-paced and thrilling game of...

Quidditch! Yes, Quidditch is here and it is amazing. First go through Quidditch training and then enter the great adventures of actual Quidditch Matches, play as Harry Potter, the seeker for the Griffyndor team as your job is to capture the tiny gold ball with wings, the snitch. Yes, have fun as this part is difficult and fun! The Game Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has done a magnificent conversation from the Book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I am well awaiting both Harry Potter Book 6, and the Game Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!

This game rocks!
