Fun for the first 15 hours

The game is highly addictive and the early missions are excellent. It is LONG, and after a while you will find hours have gone by and you have no recollection of what has happened.
About halfway through the campaign (lots of hours) you get to build units, which ends up making the game extremely repetitive.
It just degenerates into a build and shove to the front.
In short, it is pretty good but lacks any deep plot or replay value. And after a few hours you will just hate the battle anims.

woah. by far the one of the best games made. ever. dont let the cartoon animation fool you. this game was amazing.
sound-amazing. the sounds are some of the best ever.
while the battle scenpes get kind of annoying, nothing is perfect, but this game is the closest to it. the ³training² at the beginning of the game was great, too. this game was hard, but not too hard. I would highly reccomend buying this game for anyone.

Ok, I'm talking about the Gameshark. It's a nice complement to this game. Just enter a couple of codes and you're sure to have a blast. For instance, there's a code that lets you have maximum income of 999,999 so you can build up strong expensive tanks and boats and airplanes. There's another code that let you use your CO powers over and over.
When you buy this game, don't forget to have the GameShark.
Even if you don't, the game itself is really fun to play and it hooks you indefinitely.
Here's a bonus, you get to design your own battle ground. How about some forests here, some hills there, a couple of cities by the road or near your headquarter, some airports on the North, etc.... And you can design your opponent's ground, set them up in ways that they can hardly attack you.
Advance Wars: The best game in the history of video games!!

advanced wars is definetly about multiplayer. One reason is there are two practialy impossible levels which eventualy stops you from playing 1player (you try beating the last level without giving up!) I know this might stun a few gamers but I don't think this game is worth 40 or 50 dollars maby not even 20 or 30! the rest of this game is good (graphics, gameplay, etc.)
Sorry but this just isn't one of my favorite games.

Yo, I heard some really solid reviews for this game, so I went ahead and picked it up. Now I want to take it back, but I can't. The intro/tutorial mode is really good, but that is about it. Once you get past that part, the game is weak, weak, weak. Well, I'm going to target to play some good games instead.

This game is excellent.Dont worry about buying another game for a while because this thing is loaded. Over 100 maps plus you can create your own.Multiplayer heaven too with endless battles. Probably the biggest problem is the battles can last a little too long. Especially if your enemy has bases. You get air, ground and naval units to wage the ultimate war.Great game and I wouldnt hesitate getting it.
