I played the Japenese version of this game and it is the bomb! Capcom promises that this is the hardest megaman game in the megaman series yet. Overall, this game is awesome on the Japenese version and I think it will also be awesome on the American version. And also this games graphics are great.(Except for the blood).

Megaman Zero-hardest game ever

Mega man Zero is by far the hardest game ever i have played. The game consists of the normal sidescrolling charicteristic that almost all megaman games have had, but adds a whole new twist. you fight AS zero, (the red guy with the sword), and have to defeat megaman, who is destroying all your fellow repliods.
Why is this so diffucult you ask? well besides the confusing part with the cyber-elves (little elves you collect, and use for an effect), the bosses are more difficult, the enemies are fast, and an hour and a half of frustration and soda can lead you to the fruit of your labor, the defeat of level one.
The hardest part of thwe whole game are the bosses. Finding a pattern and escape from all thier attacks isone thing, but actually being able to execute it is another. in this game, there is no such thing as luck

its fun

Megaman Zero is a weird type of megaman game. see it has some odd parts like you dont start out with the Z-Saber instead you must find it. You also start out with a buster like the X-buster but it looks like a gun. Zero dousn't even look like Zero and yet they still say it is. Zero does not have a buster like X even in X5 when Zero gets an arm cannon it still doesn't look like that.but overall its a hard megaman game. The bosses have lost of life and you dont have much so that makes it hard. but the bosses stratagies suck even I could beet the final bosses first form in one try annd he had a lot of life. but overall this is one of the most challenging games ever a defenent must buy. But I give it 4 stars because of its odd grafics.

Finally, Capcom gave the REAL hero his own game

Whn I first glanced at the cover art for MMZ, I was worried that Capcom screwed up yet another Mega Man game (cough, MMX7, cough). I saw Zero's new look and began to wonder if Capcom gave Zero the treatment he deserved. Thankfully, all of my doubts faded away as I began to play the most difficult Mega Man game since MMX3. One striking difference is that the tried-and-true method of beating a boss with a particular weapon is gone... somewhat. Instead of beating a boss with a particular weapon, MMZ uses elemental chips where virtually every boss has a weakness to one of the 3 types. In the beginning, the game's 1 life per continue concept will be hard to grow accustomed to, but don't fret. Once you have upgraded the Z-Saber enough to charge it and obtained the appropriate elemental chip, the bosses are a breeze to beat. Especially copy-X. I was expecting a long, protracted battle, but copy-X was a total wimp. To the newbie or casual gamer, if you have not played and beaten MM1 & MMX1-3 I highly doubt you'll be capable of beating this game. To anyone who is tired of today's average games (Great graphics and sound but non-existent substance or challenge), play this game. This game really separates the gaming elite from the wanna-be's.

This is the best side scrolling MegaMan game I've ever played !!! The Weapons need no ammo (Z-Buster,Z-Sabre,Tri-Rod,Bomerang Shield) , there combinatons of weapons with elemants(Neutral,Fire,Ice,Electric). The total combinations are 16 weapon combination with elements.PLUS the new look is cool!!! The coolest game, but I can't read mine because it's Japanese...

A very good MM game...But it's not right...

This is a very cool game I admit it great challenge great graphics yadda yadda but It's not the Blue Bomber!!! Instead it's some secondary character because of his huge fan base STOLE the game (X-series) from the main character and got his own this is unforgivable that Capcom would make the main character look pathetic just so they can hype up their fan favorite. (Tsk obviously money plays a huge role in this.)Look I've seen games where the secondary characters got their own game once in a while but THE MAIN CHARACTER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER!! HOW DARE THEY FORGET THAT! Overall buy this game if your looking for a good challenge or if your a Zero fan otherwise don't bother
Pros:
The challenge
Gameplay/Graphics
A fair storyline (X is the focus for once)
The Cyber Elves
Cons:
Overtime raising those little guys becomes tedious

I've played this game in Japanese and the grafx are so amazing! This is the hardest and the coolest mega man game ever! I can't believe that it's starring Zero who died in X5. The game was in Japanese, that's why I didn't like it and also there is so much gore. The game should be rated mature. I will get this game when it comes out. P.S. MB is *HOT*!

If you can bare the very very very long intro....Ok Capcom programmers we know that you're clever, this is a wonderful addition to the Megaman series, without megaman...just don't expect it to be easy. Game play is smooth. Bosses are extremely difficult to defeat, Graphics and sound 5 out of 5. Thank God for the save function.
Peace out...

Hard but still fun
