Parental Guidelines Mixup - Shower Scene cuts close shots

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 2 / 2

Hello
I read in the US weekly magazine a review about how much sexuality is included in this game.

Well parents, if you wanna know more about how much sexuality this game has, most of the game is fine (except for underwear peeking through when the girls kick high, etc.). But there is a certain nude shower scene that puts the camera at awkward angles, and very closely misses showing the woman's most private parts (above and below).

But the scene is only available when you get to a certain level and are able to "unlock" it.

Then again if you have parental settings, it might not show it. I dont know about that becuase i haven't tried it yet.

The rest of the game is fine as far as i've seen.

All I can say is excellant graphics. If you are looking to find a game to play with a friend then this is the game. However if you are looking for a game to beat and play by yourself for hours then this is not the game. The story's have excellant graphics but dont clue you in on what they mean. It is very easy to beat as well. Graphics get a A+, Content C-. Overall 4 stars.

For all of those out there who say the game is over in two hours, this is simply not true. Yes, it is easy to finish the game in Story Mode, but this is a very small portion of what DOA3 has to offer. In order to truly "beat" the game you must unlock the hidden character (EIN) and the hidden costumes, as well as complete all modes of this title. The only costumes hard to unlock are EIN's third and Zack's third. You have to earn the gold trophies in single and tag modes in the timed version and you must earn the gold trophies in single and tag survival modes to truly "beat" this game.

Almost Perfect

Dead or Alive L.E. for the Dreamcast was the best fighting game that I'd ever played, at least until I tried DOA 3 for the Xbox.

Graphically stunning, the game dazzles you with beautiful, interactive backgrounds and a decent soundtrack. The gameplay itself was just as fluid and easy-going as DOA2 for the Dreamcast (DOA 2 Hardcore for PS2 seemed a bit pick at times).

I must admit that though this is one of the most graphically-impressive fighting games I've ever seen, that was about it. It was more like DOA two and a half. There should have been a plethora of secret costumes and characters to give DOA fans something to do...especially after beating your friends to a pulp for 99 times in a row.

I still love the game and won't stop playing it until an augmented version is made. However, I'll probably never stop wishing for more characters and costumes. And by the way, what's up with the sucky boss in story mode anyway? I guess this was just one of those games that was meant to be played in versus mode alone.

This is a 5 star game.

Dead or Alive 3 is a good way to spend a few hours of the day. I like this game because it's a way to release stress. If you are having trouble with a brother or sister, or friend or cousin, just challenge them to a fight. After a few battles, everyone is happy. No more anger. It's a great peace maker. It's a four player game. So everyone can play at the same time.

I didn't originally like the DOA games when I originally played them, but a friend of mine has this on his X-box and always wanted some challenges so I learned how to play it and found a very enjoyable game. I used the story mode to practice, and then some of the best 2 player fighting I have done for this type of game. The lack of energy projectiles, everyone fighting very different, and all have multiple ways to counter attack seems to be the real charm.

Fighting very much alive on X-box!

This is the first review i've ever writting about anything, but I found that it's not hard to write about something you love. DOA 3 has to be one of the most satisfying fighting games i've ever played, and thats saying a lot considering the fact that i am a fighting game fanatic.

At first glimpse, I knew that tecmo had another hit on their hands with massive multi-tierd stages, beautifully rendered characters & and awe-inspiring graphical effects.Graphically speaking, Doa3 delivers on all angles. To kick a character through a glass pane window, have them to fall at least twenty stories, crashing through neon signs on the way down only to continue the fight on the street level has to be seen to be believed.

Other nice effects such as snow, falling leaves, and reflective water adds to the realism of the enviornments. As for the characters, they all move silky smove at 60FPS with flowing hair and garments (16 total)from small and powerful characters like "Hitomi"to the big and stong like "Bass",your sure to find a character that fits your style.

DOA offers 8 modes of play including: story, tag, team battle, and training. training mode is realy cool because it has an exercise mode where you can brush up on or perfect your fighting skills.

All in all Doa has a lot to offer to any fighting fanatic and enough to draw those that are new to the gener if you in the market for a fighting game DOA3 is a must have!
