underrated

This game is a HUGE fun hack'n'slash that is amazing. Here's why:

Graphics: 4.5/5 the graphics are amazing featuring detail on every monster and item you encounter, and even individual translucent snow on some levels.

Sound:4/5 the music isn't all that creative and the ha ha heya of your char attacking gets annoying.

Gameplay:4.5/5 VERY addicting and fun.

Controls: 5/5 Not sluggish AT ALL and very easy to whip out a potion or spell

I totally recommend this game to people who love action RPG games or just like destroy everything in their path.

One of the best psp games you will really like it

I got this game at gamestop a few days ago and i started playing it was so fun 2d grapics thers about 100 levels!!!!!!!!
the weapons are so cool theres really cool things to collect plus you can costamize your carecter with weapons, colths, and how he looks in genaralplus there are a lot of cool monsters like giant spiders. but there are some bad things like it takes kind of a long time to load also some times when you want to pic up a weapon it will say its to heavy cause your guy has a lot of things already that way alot of pounds thats all the bad things about this game. but Besides that its in awsome game 5 out of 5.

this diablo clone as the only rpg available for the psp is a fairly fun adventure and quite long.there are tons of items to collect many of which are customizable.
on the down side the enemies are all very similar and they are endless and they seem to progress in levels as you do so there is no sense of accomplishment as you gain levels and add slots to your powere tree.this game shouldnt be fun at all but it is. but u will quickly tire of the fetching missions and the endless waves of cloned enemies.

best title for the psp so far

This game is great. The graphics, sound, and gameplay are top notch. This game is very similar to Diablo, and that's a good thing! I'm thoroughly enjoying this game and I'm looking forward to a sequel???!!???

this is probably one of the better psp games you can buy at the moment, it seems as if it could go on forever with so many levels (even though i just go it with my psp 2 days ago). the story line is a bit difficult to follow so if you get games just for the story (why would you anyway) don't get this game, but for those of you who just want to do something for an hour or more this is the game for you.

Basically Diablo or Diablo II

Enjoyable game, if you liked Diablo II, or Diablo for the PC, this is very similar, my only real complaint is that so far it's been a tad easy, I've not really found anything much of a challenge.

Unimaginative and derivative

Being a fan of light RPGs, I picked up this game because the allure of having an RPG-light on a portable system was just too great. I wound up regretting that decision.

If you like the Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance game, then you should ike this one too. Other than that, there's nothing to be said about this. While I didn't play far enough into the game to have a lot of the story uncovered, it seems to be the standard, generic RPG tale. The maps were also standard and generic. The monsters, player classes, spells, etc. are also generic. In other words, there is nothing compelling about this game.

Here's an example of how bland this game is. PSP games have the ability of displaying an animated menu item in the PSP's Home Menu. Besides an animated "button" that you can select to launch the game, a game can also alter the PSP's background "desktop" so that when a game is highlighted, the background changes to a theme relating to the game. Lumines and Dynasty Warriors both have this design feature. If either game is in the PSP, and you highlight the button, you get background visuals automatically. It's quite remarkable and very appealing. With Untold Legends though, all you get is a text button and no extra "frills". The developer wanted to release something quick using a known formula and did not bother to add in any features to distinguish it from other games.

I really regret spending the money on this game.

Borrow this game from a friend or rent it. I have to wonder what the developers were thinking when putting together this game. It's basically a PSP version of the PS2 Game Champions of Norrath but strangely without the fun. The 4 classes make little sense, the graphics are very poor (very hard to make things out at times), the story line is absolutely horrible and gameplay is repetitive. In addition it left out one important thing CoN had, multi-player over the internet.

I don't know why anyone would rave about this game but definately try it before you buy it if you can.
