Evil Dead Fistful of Boomstick is one of the best games i have played in a long time. It is a perfect game for an older audience. It is probably one of the best voice over games. all you do is run around and slice up Deadites. I am a long Time fan of the movies. You owe it to yourself to pick up this game its great.

Listen up, you primative screwheads. This was an awesome game, definently worth the $$. I originally heard this game was "fast and easy". Well, that is a major FALSE because there are 500000000 deadites in one area, 2 health packs that only cure you up to two per each one, and 179 shotgun shells. This really increases the difficulty. I have had a hard time making it past the third level, and I am a very big gamer. That means all the people who play this game that consider it "easy and gast" are probably either nerds, liars, or people who run away from half the game just to beat it and not enjoy it. This game is difficult. Now, the puns and jokes in the game are very good, and Bruce Campbell does an excellent job bringing Ash back. My only problem is, sometimes he should have said things a little more seriously, and not go campy on every single line. Then again, this game is all about the campiness and slapstick from the movie. Tons of blood, gore, and moves! This definently sticks what the movies are famous for in a game. This is the closest to "Army of Darkness" as you can get. The controls are simplistic. There is...uh...magic in the game. This is a very good factor for your survival, so you will be using it often. It was a good thing to put since they put so many damn deadites. AND THEY KEEP RESPAWNING!!! The graphics are awesome, and do fit the game. ALthough, they do lose detail the closer you get to completion, but they are still very neat. I got barely any slowdowns, and that only happened when I had over 1000 deadites on the screen at once. The sound effects are great, although sometimes when I blasted my shotgun I got no "boom". The chainsaw sounds pretty realistic, but thank God that it's not nearly as loud. Overall, this is an AWESOME movie to game adaption. This is a buy for anybody that is a fan of campy movies and wants a good game along the same lines. It's cheap, and entertaining. Everybody should atleast give it a RENT. I pitty the fool who doesn't.

It's a FUN Evil Dead game. The controls are better than most zombie games, the voices are great, and it has a wonderful ending. It's somewhat short, but you can't argue with a good game with this price. Good... bad... I'm the guy with the game.

This game is better than I could have imagined. I enjoyed Hail to the King and figured they could only get better. I was right. This game is easy to play, tough at times to advance, but that's what a game is supposed to do. I hoped for more gore than Hail to the King and I wasn't disappointed. Any Evil Dead fan, or even if you aren't, this game is worth the twenty bucks. I think it would have been worth the fifty that games usually cost when released. I am a huge fan of Sam and Bruce and hope for more films and games in the future. This game could have been like the other one and I still would have played it. I love the new style they have. Keep it up guys!

This game pulls you right in. I'm addicted to it. I only saw the first movie and I'm completely enjoying it, but their are a lot of references from the movies which I'm sure makes it really cool for the real Evil Dead fans. Ash is great, the story line and puzzles are cool to solve, you never loose interest, in the middle of the game I actually started from the beginning again to stack up on ammo and wasn't bored a second. The deadites, numerous spells, characters and cool weapons keep you busy. It also includes separate arcade boards. The game it self has a great arcade style. I definitely recommend this game.

Exceptionally fun, not too easy, not too hard. Great voice acting, full of "Ash-isms" and deadites. Much better than the previous game.

Ash Is Back.

The story of the game starts off with Ash telling a story about how "it all started". This time what that means is that a pretty reporter and a kook archeologist play parts of the Book of the Dead live over the air causing the Evil Dead to return and turn Dearborn, Michigan into a city full of deadites. Ash has to hack his way through the city and through time to retrieve a summoning stone and prevent the queen bee from taking over the world. All in a day's work for the world's best and favorite S-Mart employee.

The graphics on the game are fairly good, though there are a few times (such as in the forest during the Civil War and in the tunnels on the last level) that things turn a little grainy and very dark, making it difficult to see and fight. The sound and music is pretty cool and since Bruce Campbell provided all his own voice work it makes the game that much more fun. Through the course of the game, you sometimes have to be very strategic because you might be low on life, but you'll never run out of ammo--once you find the chainsaw in the first level, you'll always have a choice of at least two weapons: shovel, sword, rifle, gattling gun, etc.

My brother and I played this game back and forth for about two weeks before we were each finally able to meet it. More experienced gamers can probably beat it in less time. Whatever the case, it's a lot of fun. Evil Dead fans will love it and it's one of the best zombie games on the market and for the fairly inexpensive price, you can't go wrong.

This game seems a shameless attempt to squeeze a few nickels out of what amounts to little more than a recognizable name on a really lame product. First, lets look at the basic structure of the game, which consists of unending waves of zombies that amount to brief pauses amid a very tired and formulaic puzzle after puzzle format. You get sent after one object after another. Each problem requires little thought, but lots of running around as you get sent back and forth across each board. The zombies you fight are more of a nuisance than anything else, unless a big group of them amasses around you, in which case it is virtually impossible not to die. Next, there is the save system, which is set up so that you have to acquire tokens in order to save. Saving becomes a tiresome process, but when you neglect to do it, there is no default point for you to restart, so you end up having to repeat all the annoyingly complex object acquisition that you have already done. What's sad is that the game could have been good. A little more atmosphere, a little less linear development, and a little attention to story would have gone a long way.

Just a great game the best of the two games so far. Relatively an easy game to pick up. Lots of good guns at your disposal and you have plenty of ammo to do some damage. Gutting up zombies with the chainsaw never gets old. Overall great game for a great cost. ...cheese and crackers go out and buy this game.
