The original resident evil game was ground breaking and innovative. Unfortuanateley when something is well made and original there is always a danger of sequels designed to make money on past glories. Sure the game is smoother than the original but the jerky character movement in the first game was part of the appeal. This game isn't original any more it has run out of surprises and the puzzles are starting to get really tedious. The only people who would enjoy this game are the zombies in it!!! dont waste your cash

This game is the basis for the upcoming

"Resident Evil 2: The Movie"

If you have seen the movie, you'll notice at the end credits, the biological commando tells his assistant to put Matt (I don't know who's equivalent character he is in the games) in the Nemesis Program, while his arm is mutating, and I believe that Matt mutates into Nemesis, so I believe that will be the basis for the new movie. Anyway, haven't played the game. Just needed somewhere to post this!

Man, this game is one of the funnyest i ever played. Almost the whole game, theres a big dope chasing after u with a bazzuka, saying the same thing over and over again...."STARS". After the 50th time he says "STARS", u'll get so annoyed that u'll want to turn down the volume. Its really funny when u blow a zombies head off with a shot gun or something else like that. Jill is a hot chick that knows she wants the mercenary Carlos. Carlos is sooo cool. I think if ur looking for a scary game, u should play resident evil 1. That was probally the freakest.

RE3 is a great game no even better. With a great plot and a awesome game play although i still belive RE2 was the best RE the mini game in RE3 put it over the top so i Still dont no which is better RE2 or 3 but doesnt matter once u play it ull understand it challaging and it gets u what it promises

Yo dis game is da bomb yo I had this as a demo but then I bought it cause it da bomb Gab is right this is the Best game in the Galaxy yo..... but.... it's so non scary..... well ya it is but when I started I thought it was dumb but i was so damn Rong man so buy it! It's worth the... dough!

Worth just about any price...

I am a Dreamcast holdout. And I am proud of it. The DC is...was the new Resident Evil Machine and every game in the series except for 1 was on it. Which brings me to Resident Evil 3
This is the Survival Horror god. RE3 is perhaps the most scary(insert shocking here) game of the series I have played yet. Rather than face several boss charactors at obvious areas, Nemisis, the big, bad boss of this game will literally chase you throughout the game. I still remember fondly the first time I saw his distorted face. And I remember well his tenacious persuit of me causing my fingers to curl and my stomach to clench. He is scary.
Added to Nemisis himself is the wonderful, useful dodge ability. Tired of Zombies walking through your hail of fire to rip open your neck? Charge them and push them back! Tired of spiders wraping their legs around you and pumping you full of poison? Jump aside. It is so nice to actually roll out of the way of a enemies swinging claws. And RE3 is the only game so far where you get to do this.
Finally, the gripes. Although I have not played 1, RE3 is the shortest of the series I have played. It is also much less epic than 2 or Veronica. If it is lengh and amazing story you are looking for, go for RE code Veronica. But is you want to be gripping the armchair seat and shivering from overdose excitement...This is the game for you.

Get this game if u have the ba**s!

yep this game is really scary.. and well worth playing.. Jill is a excellent character and you have a machine gun so don't worry.. you won't run out of ammo fast like in Resident evil 1. This is not your Mickey Mouse power ranger game sooo like if ur expecting balloons and stuff then this is not ur game.. The story is pretty basic.. not like RE1 but the game play covers it up.. the ending is soooo good... and once u start to play it u won't stop until the end bc well.. u get Nemesis nightmares LOL yep Nemesis is 1 bad dude trust me.. that ... guy wouldn't stop chasing me lol... GET THIS GAME or rent it u will love it.. but its scary so think about it girls j/k..hehe :)

From the very beginning to the very end, this game gets your attention and makes you think. Many puzzles, lots of gore and
violence, and a good storyline. Throughout the whole game, a monster called Nemesis follows you, almost as if he's hunting for
your blood. Nemesis is the persistant type, even after you do away with him, he comes back...many times.

This is the sort of game that you can breeze through if you're really into it. Like I said, very violent...but fun. Nice ending too.

There's also an extra game at the end that tests your skills to the limit, so if you're going to get this game, look forward to that too.

I rated this a 1 because it was the worst game that i have ever played in my life it makes u not want to buy antother resident evil game again.Its graphics [were bad],its music was corny it sounded like carnival music in a kids scare house,the zombies moans sounded like ...

When I got Resident Evil 3, I couldn't wait to play it! First of all, it has the beautiful, talented, and smart Jill Valentine. She is a fighter all the way, she doesn't need no man to protect her, and this game proves it! It starts out with Jill trying to escape from the zombie-infested Raccoon City. She finds Brad Vickers, another from the first Resident Evil. He tell her that "he" is coming for STARS members, which got me interested.

Later something happens to Brad, which I won't ruin for those who haven't played it yet, but when I saw "him" I was scared knowing he was after me. The best part is that he chases you through the whole game, popping up when you least expect it.

Jill meets up with Carlos, who is completly pointless, except for a little part you have to control him. Other than that Jill is the superb heroine! Proving women can defend themselves without men. I would recommend buying this game and loving every suspenseful moment. Play it in the dark!
