fun game

this game is very fun, plays quickly and offer a lot new features, wish it was longer though but the game is a little more difficult than the previous resident evils but still fun.

This was the third and one of the hardest installement in the series. Esepcially on hard mode. Here are some tips on how to beat this game on hard mode based of a speed run release early this year or late last year. Try to put on infinite help. If seeing how fast you can do this get the shotgun as soon as powerful and use it at close range when neccessary when fighting multiple normal enemies. When attacked by nemissi run away as fast as you can since he is programm to eliminate all sureviving mebers of star a millitray defense force created to expose the illegal umbrela corporetations experiment. The main character is injected with a virus but do to a cermun called thew T cell whgich delays the zombie fication program she still has control over here self. Get the shooty gun. At the end of the game you can hurt nemesis and after turning the power of in the final before the city is nuked of the map you have a choice of finishing nemsis of permantely if you have cheats one or can hit him fromn a distance with the shoot guns or the freeze gas and other weapons that you can find or unlock or if you have enough herbs to restore your health before you die. Running more will get you through the game faster and quicker which you want on hard mode if you don't have life super armoor or infinte shotgun shells or something like that. They don't mention nemsis orgin as clear parts of this game were partly based on the second movie resident evil reserection. Nemesis does not turn on the scientist that experiment on him at the last minute allow Jill a few second head start before the helicopter is shoot down and explodes in the movie but she survives. For those of you who don't know, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis follows the aftermath of Resident Evil 2, where heroes Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield were introduced and ended with the both of them, along with Sherry Birkin, daughter of Umbrella big-shot scientist William Birkin, escaped the clutches of Umbrella, fighting their way out of Raccoon City.

Now, you're back to being Jill Valentine from the original R.E. and you've lost your job, your home, and all hell has now broken loose in Raccoon City like never before. The President has ordered the "Complete Sanitation" of Raccoon City, as the T-Virus has spread throughout the whole city beyond level of containment, and it's up to you to get Jill out of there...

...But now, a new bio-weapon has been released by Umbrella into Raccoon City, specifically programmed to take out all-remaining S.T.A.R.S. personnel, and he is one ruthless fother mucker (no pun intended) by the name of project: Nemesis.

His role in this game is to make your life completely miserable---He follows you wherever you go, shows up with new weapons sometimes (like a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher!!!), and he is determined to put you out of business like Enron (no pun intended)

This game introduces new monsters like the amphibious hunter known as Hunter Gamma, modified lab monsters (from R.E. 1), as well as killer bloodsucker-leeches and some big nasty worms you won't find at your local bait shop. Also new characters like Carlos and Nikolai, whom you might remember from the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

This game is much like one of it's predecessors, Resident Evil 2, as it is set in the city and you go through the police station as part of your quest, of course to be pursued by your handsome friend Nemesis. This game is the ultimate fight for Jill's survival in her mission to find former teammate Chris Redfield and continue their mission to put an end to Umbrella once and for all at their headquarters in Europe.

The gameplay is great--You have decent dodging-techniques against common monsters like zombies and the introduction of the reloading tool so that you can make your own ammunition is also a big plus.

5 Stars, excellent gameplay and fun factor overall.

I am a huge fan of the series, but this one is my favorite. It may not be the best overall (see re4, then re2) but it is by far the best story and i love the nemesis. the fact that he is so violent and unrelenting make him the best. the only gripe i have is that i beat it the first day i had it in only 3 hours. :(

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis adds a nice touch to the Resident Evil formula. Not only do you have to deal with oncoming hordes of zombies, but now you have another worry...being chased by a Nemesis that will come after you no matter what you do to try and stop it. The addition of Nemesis made this game one of the most enjoyable, and my favorite of the Resident Evil\'s. The addition to now be able to walk up stairs without pressing a button really did help way back when, though wondering how that was ever not a feature in the games is a bit of a puzzlement. And on the subject of puzzles, the only flaw this game has is the \"water puzzle\" near the end of the game. Only because it is totally random. Meaning you can get lucky and solve it in 20 seconds, or it could take about 30 minutes to beat. But other than that, this is a great game that any Resident Evil fan should have in their collection. So far, I've played 1, 2, and 3, and this is probably my favorite.

Gameplay:10/10: This time you are Jill from the original. Lots of areas, like the city, police station, hospital, park, clock tower, it's a big game! You also have a dodge move. And, the stalker zombie, Nemesis, makes the game shine, he's fun to fight. You also sometimes make choices on events! And a new Mercanaries mode adds to the fun.

Music:8/10: Your standard horror tunes. Gotta love Nemmy's theme.

Sound:9/10: Decent voices this time, and cool sound.

Overall, if you are looking for a top notch horror game, you gotta get this!

resident evil 3 before or after resident evil 2?

i heard re3 was supposed to be before re2 and i am not sure but i know one thing re 2 the second senario was sweet they atleast couldve put a 2nd sanerio in this one with carlos and they couldve put mrx from 2 in here because that wouldve made it better but overall this is a very sweet game.i like that nemesis is hard as hell to beat but they couldve put more enemys in thisone to. but allwell they didnt but other that that i love it now if i could get it to work in my playstation!

first let me get something off here. resident evil 2 was the best but that doesnt mean to not get this one too because this is an incredible game very fun lasts long enough to keep you entertained from begining to end . and then when you beat it you will unlock the mercenarieswhere you can unlock unlimited ammo for your guns and i think you can unlock infinite health too. making the game like a movie invinsible characters and they will never run out of ammo. the reason this game is not as good as resident evil 2 is that it doesnt have enough bosses or big enemies even though you do fight nemesis a lot and always wondor will he stay dead this time or do i gotta kill him again. its still better to have more bosses.

Resident Evil 3 is one of the best games ever made. Capcom makes the best games by far. Everyone thinks that it is violent and gruesome, I'm only 10 and I bought it. I do not have nightmares like parents would think.

This has to be one of the greatest games I have played for Play Station. I own the first two RE, but this one is far more enjoyable. You start out with a machine gun for god's sake. The story line is not as good as the others, but the game is far better. Go get this game now!
