First FF game, and still the best...

I played this game when I was four until I was about 5 or six, thats when it randomly disapered from my room. Its one of those things u remember back as one of ur fun childhood memories. I love this game, I always did, because it was just.. I dont know addicting? Anyways, yes I guess it is a huge strategy guid, and it was nothing like the other FF games, but you know what? It was fun. (And better then the others, cuz ther f'n complicated, and u lose the fun immediatly.. well for me at least.) Thats all u need to know. Im 15 now, and I still play this game (now on a computer) and I still just love to find those chests and try to get higher levels before u meet ur game partners for each part of the world.
Thers soo much more I could talk about this game, but ima go play it right now!

Great introduction to the rpg world

I have to admit, this has a simple story, simple graphics, etc. But it was the starting point for my love of role-playing games. And for it's time, it's a decent game. It's fairly easy to figure out the puzzles, and the bosses aren't too tough. If I picked an rpg now, I'd probably prefer a game with better graphics and all, such as FFX, but don't let this stop collectors or beginners.

The best SNES game ever

I like this game. I played it many times over and I enjoyed it each time. It is fairly easy to complete not like some of the more complex games I tried to play and couldn't handle. Maybe I'm still just at a beginner level in RPGs.

A Mystic Quest into the world of FF7!

Final Fantasy, Mystic Quest, is in my opinion, the best possible way to gain access to the unholy glory of FF7:Mystic Quest. Mystic Quest allows you but a glimpse of the history and magic which dwells within the sacred world of Final Fantasy, but it is a glimpse that will leave you salivating for more. Mystic Quest is the best way to begin your training in the art of FF combat. You will by no means be able to obtain the godly mastery of Cloud with just this game, but it will open up your eyes to a whole new world of mystery and wonder.

I suggest that you purchase FF7:Mystic Quest at the same time that you buy this, because after your done with Mystic Quest, if you don't immedietly have some more Final Fantasy to play, you will probably become possessed with a murderous rage, and you will not be sane enough to make it to the store to buy FF7. In fact, you should probably leave FF7 in a powered up Playstation at all times, because that is the only way to prevent yourself from commiting a murder-suicide during the load screen. Even me, the greatest FF fan in the world, has had some problems with that.

Buy Mystic Quest, the prequel to the greatest game of all time, FF7:Mystic Quest, and be prepared to enter upon a majestic adventure from which you will never return.

how could you say this isnt a final fansty game?

It's like Final Fantasy for Kids

I played this when I was 12 and loved it; in fact, I once played this for 5 hours straight and didn't know it. But when I played it again as an adult, it was way too easy. So if you're a kid and you need to learn more about RPG's(and you actually still have a SNES), you might like to play this one. Otherwise, move onto a numbered FF game like Final Fantasy 6 or 9.

I will say the music isn't half bad though :)

Underrated

As one of the first Final Fantasy games I ever played (of course I was only 11 when it came out) it holds a special place in my heart. Sure, this isn't a game that will take 80+ hours to complete or pages upon pages of printed walkthroughs - but that's what makes it so enjoyable. Yes, it's a game for beginners, but even 16 years later I still find it to be a great game - with decent graphics, great storyline, entertaining characters and wonderful music - one that I still enjoy playing.

Now if only they would release it for download on the WII...

Great entry-level RPG

This is the first RPG that I had ever played. In that way, it was a great introduction, although it doesn't hold up so well now that I've played other games in the Final Fantasy series. This game is very simple, as it was meant to be an introductory-type of game. If you like retro-gaming though, this is worth a look. I thought it was worth my time, and I still play it every once and a while all these years later.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest

Game is not of the actual Final Fantasy genre. It is like an encountering slow lvling adventure where the encounters are engaged by the player and are not random. It is fun, but is not like many of the Final Fantasy games.
