My brother and I picked up this game from EB the other day and I just had to review this game.

Gameplay is great, although players die very quickly.

Graphics are the best graphics in a game I have ever seen since Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. Realistic explosions rock!

Sound fits the game wherever you are and just keeps you in the mood to keep playing. (If you ever do stop)

Everything else is just perfect!

Overall Rating: 9.8 out of 10

Mexico City. I bet Rage is rolling in their Split.

Rage rocks, and so does this game. But it conflicts you. You want to live and the only way you do it is by shooting the people that are shooting at you. This is the first Ghost Recon game I have played. This is a sweet game that combines real time graphics with ultimate risk and strategy. The only problem I have come across in this game is that you can not shoot while the video communication is running. That means that a hostile can be shooting at you and you can't shoot back. Overall it is my favorite game for the 360

this game has great graphics and sounds. if youve played ghost recon before you know that gr has always been more of a strategy shooter, where your only goal is to keep youself and your team alive and get the job done at all cost, so with graw the overall purpose of the game has not changed, but allot has been added to it that allows for a whole new feel of the game, for example: you can now use drones to locate your enemies before you go in ...making it easier to plan ahead from where you will attack, you can also call in air support and order your team to get in position, mark enemies for your air support or ground support (allied tanks,apcs,etc) to fire at...and all this while taking heavy enemy fire yourself thanks to the new hug a wall for cover feature, also the movement of your charecter has been greatly improved for more realism...you can now slide quickly insto the crouch position to return fire to an enemy, or quickly go from running to throwing yourself flat on the floor to avoid getting shot, i did notice however that your ai team sometimes tend to get lost if you leave them somewhere far from you and order them to regroup, allot of times each team mate will run in a diffrent direction to try and get back to you....but this is only when your far from your team...which you shouldnt be, being a sqaud game and not a one man army fps...so as long as you use your sqaud the right way you wont have a problem with this anywayz.great fun best shooter for xbox 360 so far.

I am the kid who reviewed on 12/27. After completeing the story mode i have to say that this game is a great buy. They keep you wound up all game long and for once the final mission is not a piece of crap. While the 2nd to last mission really is alot harder than the last, the final mission has you and your squad chasing the terrorist leader carlos Ontiveros in a frantic search for the football. ( If you dont know what that is you will) Once you gun him down you will be extracted. and find out why the rebels knew so much about our operation. The results will blow your mind.
My final impresion of this game is that it depicted its time period well without being over the top. What I mean by that is it didnt overexagerate stuff. In most games taking place in the near future there is time travel and hover cars and sky cities and laser guns. Not this game. G.R.A.W. mixes technology and realism in the perfect blend. i give it 10/5 if i could. Now im off to beat the game on hard. A good way to get achievment pionts. Look out for the sequel!! Spring 07

Great game that really makes my happy that I have the 360. There was one glitch that happened a couple of times - when crawling in the prone position, your character sometimes 'flys' through the air.

Like a well-directed movie.

The part with the defence of US Embassy ruins in Mexico City, outnumbered and pressed to the wall... Excellent scene. One of the moments to remember. Overall, very good campaign, though the ending came as a surprise (not being a native speaker, I sometimes couldn't follow the cut-scenes, broadcast during firefights). I was expecting some more.

One of my first games on Xbox 360, and highly playable. Since then, I finished the solo campaign and am waiting to get some friends at home (4 controllers and HD projector). For deathmatch play, I would probably prefer PC FPSes (you can't beat mouse+keyboard with gamepad, even this good).

You have read it all - great graphics, realistic sounds, blah blah blah...its all true!! But the best thing about the game are its multiplayer matches on Xbox live. It is also the worst thing about the game. Let me explain -

Why I call it the 'best thing about the game': once you are able to join game, without anyone dropping out and without any lag - it is simply the best gaming experience you can ever have. I have played several xbox 360 games...rated all over the scale...but no game fluctuates my heartbeat rate during gameplay like GRAW. You WILL feel like you are in a real war. One well placed bullet can end your life. There could be a sniper sitting on the other side of the map who you cant even see...all you will hear is a gunshot and then WHAM..you are down. And everytime you get out of our base he gets you. So now for your 4th attempt you use the other exit...take cover behind the fence...you run crouching behind the rocks and the cars in the junkyard...and then you finally reach up to the other side where you see your enemy lying on the ground sniping through a freaking crack in the fence...all you can think at this point is REVENGE [...] and with your automatic rifle you shoot the crap out him...RATATATATATA...he is dead but to take out your aggression you put down a few more shots into his bloody dead body just because you know that before he has respawned he will still feel those vibrations on his controller and hopefully in his nightmares at night. But ooops you didnt realise his teammate (a grenadier) was hiding nearby behind the billboard...who overhearing your hundreds of gunshots lets one grenade in the vicinity and BLAM...your body is 10 feet in the air! This is just one scenario out of thousands of similar experiences you are bound to have with this game on xbox live. I mean I spend about 3 hours EVERYDAY playing it...and I never get tired...and I have been doing so for the last 6 months now.

Reason I call it the 'worst thing about the game': It is sooo hard to start a multiplayer game. Sometimes you have to wait for almost 15 minutes before you actually get into a game. And often even when you join a game - you will drop out, or the gameplay will lag making people sometimes jump from one end of the map to the other?!?!. The reason for that could be the host player has a bad connection, you have a bad connection, or several players in the game have bad connections - but I just think this is a weakness on the part of the developers and the game servers. Because of this reason I give it an overall 4. Hopefully this problem will be rectified, or atleast reduced in GRAW2. If that happens I will have to rate it a 6 on a 5 scale!

This game is great. There really isn't much more that I can say that hasn't already been said. It's a solid fun game. You can find cheats and it makes it even more fun.

I only have a couple of complaints...

The online gaming is not very good, props to them for coming up with something a little different than the regular game, but I would have rather had the same features as the regular game (the controls are different, you don't have your HUD (well, at least the part where it displays enemies), etc.

Also, it takes too long to reload on any weapon. I just don't think it's realistic at all, it should only take 2 or 3 seconds, and it's more like 5 or 6. When you are in the heat of a battle, you need to be able to reload quicker than that (and reslistically, you DO).

Other than those two things, it is GREAT!! 10/10 in my book. A must-own game for any XBOX 360 owner.

This game... is so good it is hard to decribe! I have waited so long for it and finally got it for christmas. I could go on and on about how great the game is but i have narrowed it down to this.

1.Gameplay
This is a great tactical shooter. You begin the game as a ghost leader named Cpt. Mitchell. You have a team of 3 other ghosts who you must command and move along with yourself across the battle zone. Now since this is in the year 2013 you have all this technology. First you have the cross com. If you have see screen shots, you will see blue displays, that is the cross com, it displays ammo, health, teamate status and video sent by mission control. By pressing the back button you can access a field map. this will show you enemy locations, cover and battle zones. when that doesnt work, in a few missions you can use a uav, which is bassicaly a stalite. But make sure it does not get destroyed or its gone. You will be required to take cover if you want to live. Running and Gunning play will earn you a quick death no matter how twitchy your trigger finger is. ( you probably had lots of practice with halo) You should also take care to make sure you team is uder cover to because if they go down you will have to save them. You will see what i mean when you get the game, this is the most annoying and inconvineint. your squad members can hold their own but still require cover fire when engaging. taking cover and planning assualts is the only was to win the missions, but do this fast because enemies will use you cease fire to advance on you, and sometimes your squad will not cover you. For all you peeps out there sayin " i dont need dead weight" there is good news! there are a few solo missions in the campaign mode. But be warned, wear rubber pants cuz you will wet yourself numerous times. There are alot of random explosions sudden gun battles enemies popping from behind walls ect. The game will make you paranoid if Halo or call of duty 2 didnt already. you will find youself checking around corners 3 times everytime and you should because you will find yourself dead every time you dont.
2. Graphics
Needless to say graphics are top notch. Everything looks so real, form the sunlight, to the palm tees, to the buildings to the charecters. And for the first time ever the hole you shot in the wall does not disappear!!!!
3. Weapons
There are lots of guns to choose from. Most are machine guns but luckily you have a coice between rapid and sigle shot fire from the cross com. Watch out for the scar, it comes with a heavy machine gun and a grenade launcher!!!! the sniper riffles are also able to pierce thin walls and hit a hidden enemy.
4.Xbox Live
I have not yet gotten online but i do know that up to 16 players can play in a single match of online play. you can also download chap. 2 from xbox live market place. it includes new create a charecter options, new missions and new guns including the AK-47!!!!! everyones favorite gun.
5. cons
Although it is hard to find anything wrong abut this game my one issue is in the night vision mode. when you shoot someone ans they die the are still brightened like they are alive. you cant tell the difference between someone dead or prone. I have died numerous times when i used my last bullets to take down a guy and ran over to take his gun, thinking he was dead and he shot me dead. not fun.also lamps and other light sources sometimes have the same heat signature as an enemy behind cover so be sure to investigate.
Now that you know the masterpiece that is Ghost Recon, BUY IT!!! But be ready to get shot down on xbox live!!!!! Youve been warned!!!!!

I thought Call of Duty 2 was amazing, but this game is even better! First of all, it has great graphics, sound, and smooth framerates. Those are must-haves for a great game, but don't guarantee it. What pushes this game over the top is that it has an interesting and deep single player campaign and great multiplayer options. The campaign requires lots of thinking (weapon choices, attack routes, etc.) and stealth. It reminded verymuch of another great game-Far Cry Instincts. The controls are a bit complex since at times you have command of a 3 man squad, or a group of tanks/Bradley's, or an unmanned aerial vehicle. But it is easy to get up to speed. In multiplayer, you can play deathmatches against others or team up with them and go against the computer. There is even a multiplayer campaign option-many more options than in Call of Duty 2. All of this adds up to hours of gameplay and replay value. Highly recommended.
