Ok, I'll make it brief so you can actually get though this, I just wanted to say, that some of these reviews are misleading, this game have good graphics, yeah, that' true, but not the best graphics. They are still not as good as Metal Gear Solid. The main this that makes this game almost [is bad] is that the gameplay is aweful. You have to use the joysticks, no option to use the directional buttons. You have to use both of them, just to move, they are way too sensitive and make it so hard to move around. Also the environment is not very interactive, you don't get do to any of the fun things, like drive the car, or boat or anything. Also, you can't really walk around shooting people because as soon as you are detected, everyone just swarms around you and shoots you with machine guns until you die. So overall, not really a great game, I wish i had rented it first, and if I had, i would never have bought it. The only reason it got 3 stars is because it's a good concept for a game with pretty good graphics, but it could and should be Way better!

...Cos that's the only age group this abomination would appeal to. I've just recently bought an xbox, the first console I've owned since I bought a playstation1 way back in 95. Am I impressed, not yet. The games don't look that much better to me than my old playstation games used to. And unlike the old playstation controller their controller is just bloody impossible to use. What are Microsoft thinking? I have had this controller problem now with every xbox game I've played, although Hitman is the worst. I'm going to have to go back to PC games. They're far more slick, and at least you can easily control them with a keyboard and a mouse. Anyway, that's enough about the terrible xbox controller. This game is bad on so many levels. Firstly the beginning is just pathetic. You're a hitman, currently on sabbatical. Even though you're supposed to be a cold-blooded murderer your best pal is a sicilian priest, and you live in his empty garden shed. Any of this sounding ludicrous to you? You go to confession and admit your a murderer, but he says, in his stereotypical italian accent "no, no, my son, you are a gooda boya, I've seena you attending the gardena" or some embarrassing garbage like that. Then we actually get to hear the bald-bonced killer saying his prayers, and whoever wrote the script has obviously never said a real prayer or been inside a real church in his life. Anyway, the priest gets kidnapped by the local don and you go on the warpath in revenge. The way the character moves is horrible, not natural, he slides all over the place. Because of the controller you can never follow him properly and forget about being able to aim your weapons. And finally I really want to slap him on that big bald slaphead. All in all an abortion of a game. ...

I would have to say that this game is one of the best games I have ever played. The story line is engulfing. I started to have dreams about the game. In fact, at times in real life I thought I was actually THE HITMAN. In my job profession I look through a scope with crosshairs. (Kind of like in the game). And I would actually think that I was supposed to "TAKE OUT" what I was looking at.
In Short; This game is so good that you will want to become a HITMAN.

This game is lots of fun to play. It reminds me of Goldeneye for N64 but you can take peoples close and sneak around people and drag bodies around to hide them. and you obviously have to assassinate people.

/////I owned hitman 1 for PC and i enjoyed it... i admit HM2 is a steroid injected hitman 1 but who doesnt like a doped up hitman....i know i dont.

Fun game.....I love the first person mode. It opens up the game but most of the levels are tedious and annoying...overall the game has bad camera angles ok gameplay, good fun, tons of new features and better graphics!!

BUY THIS GAME!!! this is one of the best games of ps2. you can complete the missions in differnet ways, but before you do, try to have a plan... its the best, lots of action, nice weapons.
when you fire the two handguns you can feel, as if you were the one shooting the the guns.
well, we hope to see more games like this one.

Hit Man 2 is an awesome game for the ps2. It combines action stealth and strategy all in one game. At first it may be complicated and frustrating, but after a while you will be making professional hits in no time. The only two cons of this game is at first the controls will feel strange, and it may be hard to move around and target enemies, but after a while it will become second nature. The other con is it's very hard to sneak up on enemies. Even the slightest movement will create noise. Besides these two cons Hit Man 2 is one of the best games for ps2. Buy it today.

I rented this game a few days ago I didnt know how it would play but i started playing it and the game is fabulous there are so many ways to take out the target silent or just run in guns blazing, i like the fact that you can sneak in take a guard out take his stuff and walk around with little hassle and take the target out
