Best Tekken Yet

This game is great. I love how the game gives a brief introduction to each character at the beginning of story mode. It helps you to know characters better.
They did an excellent job on the Tekken Force too. On Tekken 3, I found it a bit difficult to get my character where I wanted him, but it is very easy to move your character on this one.
The character development is just something that I can't get over and one can tell that the creators have put a lot of time into developing a story line to link them from Tekken 3 to Tekken 4.

The BOMB!

I've played Tekken 4 at Neddle's before and loved the game. I'm a big fan of the Tekken games. I have to say Tekken 4 is much better than Tekken Tag. My favorite player is Christe and Jin. If you get any other fighting game this year or next year, get this game. It's the BOMB! It is so life like, you get hooked in to the game really easy. And who said girls can't like fighting games.

I know where mine is. Here.

I got this game for Christmas, and I couldn't have been more impressed. There are a few more new characters, including a Vale Tudo fighter and another Capoeira artists. Some moves have been changed, many for the better. There is a new Training mode that is available. One is timed as he or she completes a series of 20 attacks against a still opponent; AND TEKKEN FORCE IS BACK!!! The control setup for tekken force is a little confusing at times when the camera begins to change angles, but once Tekken Force is played for a while, this isn't much of an issue. Thumbs up!! Namco has done us well.

Could Be Better

The story mode for this game was very well done, the graphics are excellent. But other than the story mode, the game needs alot of work. When you beat the game on Tekken 3 it gave you Tekken Ball, and on Tekken Tag, it gave you Tekken Bowling, which were both very entertaining and gave you a break from fighting. This game didnt have any sort of bonus game like that, which wouldve been nice to have. The Tekken Force was honestly terrible. The levels were way too long, and it got boring way too fast. When you played it, even if you got to the end and lost, you had to start all over. Theres no checkpoints or anything, and its just frustrating. They could make levels a third that long, and then add a few more levels, then it would stay entertaining, but it just got too boring. Overall, especially since Tekken 3 was pretty much the best fighting game of its time, I was hoping for more innovation. Decent, could be better

Tekken 4 Review

This is a solid fighting game. It has the classic Tekken fighting engine which is what sets it apart from many other fighters. It has a great soundtrack as all of the other Tekken games do. Very nice fighting arenas, though I wish there was more. Plenty of game modes to keep one busy for awhile. Nice unlockables. Great game. But not a total gem, which would be a 5.

The King Of Iron Fist Tournament anew

This is an awsome game. Many people say that it is not as good as the rest of them but the only thing that I can find wrong with it is that there should be a few more characters that they had in the previous tournaments. They still have some of your favorites though like Yoshimitsu, Kazuya, Heihachi (of course), Bryan, Nina, and of course, my personal favorite, Jin Kazama. The gameplay is incredible and the stories are perfect. The controls are a little hard to master unless your an old pro at it. There are many more features than The King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 like, Tekken force, in which you fight hundreds of forces sent from Combot, Kuma, Kazuya, and Heihachi Mishima. It is the best addition to the Tournament series. I reccomend this to anyone that loves fighting games (by the way the graphics are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!).

This game is red hot! You can't really ask for more, great graphics, great controls, sound is tight, ending the game actually pays off with a cool ending movie! This is the best Tekken out there! but probably not the last!!!

Not as good as Tekken Tag

I've been hooked on Tekken since Tekken 3 (I know, not all that long), but this game just wasn't as fun for me as Tekken Tag. It didn't offer enough fun other stuff.

That said, I do like the game quite a bit. The Tekken Force mode is really entertaining.

I think I was most disappointed not to see some of my favorite characters from Tekken Tag make a reappearance--no June, no Kangaroo guy, no doctor, no Anna even!

But it's still Tekken, so it still gets 4 stars!

Solid fighter, but nothing new

The latest addition to the Tekken series brings an updated version of the fighting game. All the standard fare is available as the prior four games (Tekken, 2, 3, and Tag) - including the extremely irritating Tekken Force mini-game. The graphics have been revisited, and some interactivity has been added...the game (graphics and interativity-wise) seems to be trying for the DoA title, but falls short. However, the updating has not come at the expense of the Tekken feel - still the best controls of all the fighting genre (in my opinion). Still solid, but could have been more...so 4 stars I give it. :)

Good solid fighting game

This fighting game is a very good fighting game. the characters are some new and old. compared to tekken tag tournament this game is good but lacks a few things. the graphics are downright beutiful, and the fighting styles of the different characters was cool, but the only problem was that in tekken tag you could have teams and in tekken 4 you can't. Instead of more players there is a new added mode, tekken force. Tekken force is a brand new mode that has never been introduced to a fighting game. What it is basically is an old- fashioned beat-em-up, where you fight hordes of soldiers and last a difficult boss. overall this game deserves a good 5 stars.
