X Files Revisted:Gladly!

I enjoyed the overall storyline of the game, Having the original cast and some of the supporting cast do their own voice work adds to the realism and enjoyability of playing it.The only drawback,at times,is the lack of being able to actively control where the camera takes you.Otherwise, the entire game plays out like a finely crafted storyline arc that for TRUE X Files fans, won't disappoint!

Cool....for x-files fans...

first and formost, this game is great, but only if you enjoy survival horror and the x-files. Nice controls, cool story and the dark, moody graphics are just icing on the cake. However, if for some alien reason you don't like the x-files, you should probably pass on the game, not because it is bad, but because there are simply better games in the genre. For x-files fans, (like my self)I would recomend that you at least rent the game, but for the rest of you, try the Resident Evil remake for Game Cube, or Silent Hill 2 for PS2, or even (If you have A LOT of patcience) Siren for PS2. For those of you unfortunate enough to be fooled into buying an x-box, sorry, but there are no good survival horror titles for this console

First things first if your a x-files fan and you are a keen gamer than this game cant be missed. We have missed the X-files since its departure in its 9 season and this game is just what we neede to stop us from forgetting about the tv show we love. Now from the gaming point of view its great too,Graphics and detail are really good i did notice it was very much like resident evil but then most games are becoming the same but with differnt characters. What makes this game different is its story line and quality of it written by tv writers the story is unquestionbly the best ive seen on ps2 for a long time.I did however get frustrated at times by the camera angles they are set and you can sometimes be walking round in circles and speaking of walking the only movement of mulder and scully that i thought looked unnatural was thier walking especially scully's running but you cant have everything. Some areas of the game are dark but so is the tv show thats what made the game harder for me which i love!if you can't play it just put the brightness up your television. As a final note the game is good the game play is long enough has a really rich storyline and even if your not a fan is a good challenging game to play.Well done resist or serve!!

VERY FUN GAME!

This game is a must for x-files fans!
The great thing about this game is that you can choose to play as Mulder or Scully, there are 3 different episodes to play (must unlock them, though), and the music and graphics are excellent!
There are many different options and ways to beat the game (depending on whether you are playing as Mulder or Scully) and can be played over and over again!
The bad things about this game are the view (when you are walking, it is hard to change views), the constant darkness (this game is best played in a dark room or at night, the glare from light or sun can get quite annoying, and your character must constantly hold a flashlight), and the fact that you cannot run when your character is holding a gun and flashlight at the same time!
But other than that, this game is very fun and has a number of outcomes! There are some very funny Mulder/Scully moments that fans will appreciate!

I has teh 1337 karate moves! w00t

I think it's a fun game.. xD In my opinion the graphics are very good and I think it's pretty neat that you can choose between Mulder and Scully as being your main character of the story. Overall it's very creative, though the first episode kinda reminds me of parasite eve or something (*cough* I've never played that game but I remember seeing trailers for it way back when). Yeah but still.. It's fun kicking zombie-butt..! Literally sometimes. ^^;

I especially recommend this game for all ze wonderful X-Philes out there who happen to own a PS2. =D It's fuuuuun...

Resist or Serve has many qualities both fans and non-fans alike will enjoy. A good story line and voice talents from Anderson, Duchovny and the rest of the X-files cast. Lots of action, suspence and humor; plus inside jokes for us die hard fans. Good graphics and easy to learn controls. One of the must have games for this year.

A Must-Have For X-Philes

Written in the traditional X-Files style, and set in the seventh season, Resist or Serve is a great addition to any library of X-File memorabilia. The game play is terrific, the atmosphere is dark, just like the series, and the challenges just right to keep you thinking.

coolest survival horror game story

if only Silent Hill 3 could have had as excellent of a story and star power as X Files Resist or Serve. It is probably the coolest storyline in a survival horror platform that i have ever experienced. I will admit that the camera angles for each area never switch wether you are running toward the screen or away and can make it very difficult to play at times.

Well, the X-Files is back...in videogame form at least. And it was well worth the wait. As an X-Phile, I am extremely happy with the game, and I recommend it to all X-Philes. For the avid gamer (but not necessarily a fan of the show), you will definitely enjoy this game. It is a lot of fun, and creepy at the same time. It really draws you in, and it's not some walk in the park. Well worth taking a look at. One of my favorites already.
