I can't wait for this game! ^__^ Someone said that it was KH just on the GBA. Well, it's not. The game is set right after KH ends and after KH:CoM ends, then it's exactly right were KH2 starts. Yes, it is on the GBA but, it's not the exact same game. It does have the worlds from the original in it but it also has alot of other characters that are included. This is going to be awesome. You wouldn't want to miss this game if you want to know the whole story of KH.

Riku's side

I read somewhere if you beat chain of memories you can do a mode called "Reverse Rebrith." They said it allows you to play Riku's side of the story.I don't know if this is true but I sure hope so!It appers that Riku must have his own set of cards and keyblade too. I can't wait untill it comes out in 12/7/04!(or so I've heard.)

I originally bought this game after it was released...soon after I ...left it on the plane...But anyways this christmas I got it again! (and actually played it)

One word= WOW

The gameplay! my first reaction (without having played) CARDS EW I HATE CARDS!

First reaction after playing= BEST GAME PLAY EVER...so strategic! way past hack and slash of first kh! if you loved ff style gameplay well here you go! dare I say its even better!

the gameplay is also very non linear! for every level you advance YOU get to choose whether you want more hp,more attack power,or a new "skill" so you can really play the game any way you want .....theres also summon cards my fav being cloud! when used the characters pop out (replaceing sora) and fight for a short time for you...think ffx yuna summons.

so yeah it is really fun and entertaining...the storyline is OK...the first kh storyline wasn't "fantastic" to me...but its a game...and fun as all so...thats what really matters....that it can entertain a 16 yr old girl for 8+ hours..

The FUNNEST game ever

A must get game for everyone who played the first kingdom hearts. With the bestest and closes graphics to a playstaion and has a great storyline. You also dont need to play the first one to play chain of memories. With a new battle system were you use cards and battle new enemies, New feature also include:

*New battle system

*New enemys

*You can play as Riku and link to other people with the same game and battle them

And much more!

I received this game last week and I have now beat both Sora's and Riku's story. It is actually quite difficult in Sora's story but my only complaint is how easy Riku's is, true it is harder to heal but you have no reload time on your deck and his dark mode makes enemys drop like flies. All in all though, it is a great game I hope all will play it.

great, five star game!!

I got this game yesterday and ive already played it for four hours. The battle system in this game is unique, but even though it is different, it is still very fun. I own all of the final fantasy games and if this were one, it would definitely be my favorite.

Excellent game anyone should be able to enjoy!

I don't have the equipment to play the original KH (curse me and my PS1), but this makes me want to go out and buy it just to play the original and the coming sequel. I got hooked right away!

Music : I recently picked up the game again, and the music doesn't seem as good as I remember it. The quality is sort of iffy, but it may just be my system.
8/10
Graphics : My goodness. For a GBA game, I would have to say I'm impressed. The cutscenes looked like the graphics from... well, some of the older systems that you plugged into your television. I'm not saying they're bad! XD I mean like, PS1, N64, those kind.
10/10
Gameplay : I love that leveling up and building up card decks is how you get through the game. I have a hard time dealing with luck games; but, this one deals with strategy and patience. If you can't beat a boss, you need to change your deck or level up to get more hitpoints or cardpoints. Awesome!
10/10
Plot : I have nothing to compare the plot to, but I absolutely loved it! Sure, I didn't know much about Kairi or Riku... or, anyone for that matter; it was still one of the most enjoyable RPG plotlines I've seen.
9.9/10

All in all, a really awesome game! A must-have for anyone with a GBA.

Unlike most people I am okay with the card system.Again unlike most people I think they just make the monster to easy or to hard. For example I killed the Trickmaster in less then a minute because he only hit me once and I just slashed in attacks. When I had to reload he still didn't hit me!I am on Monstro and the Parasite Cage has been beating me silly.Overall the story line is easy to get along with and the game shows alot of strategy.I reccomend this game to fans of the first Kingdom Hearts.

I'm actually 15 and THIS GAME ROCKS!!!!

I just have to say the card based battle system is not like I thought it would be, (I thought it would ruin the game) it actually makes the game more fun! You get to pick your cards and plan out your strategy and combine cards to make cool combo attacks and magic and you don't lose the cards you just click "reload" and your cards come back, except for the first one used in slights(combos) but then they come back after the battle you can also buy new cards and earn new slights and gain map cards(they help you traverse the maps of the different worlds). you even get to be a familiar character if you beat the game and earn the "Reverse Rebirth" mode. I could go on and on about how awesome the graphics, the gameplay, and the whole game is but why not buy it and figure it out for yourself. :)

Pretty pictures and annoying cards

While Kingdom Hearts remains, to me, a "Huh?" concept with its pairing of Final Fantasy and Disney characters, Chain of Memories offers some fun. It's great to see some old favorites like Aladdin, Alice, Jafar, Pooh, Jack Skellington and others. The graphics are excellent, especially on the brighter screen of a Nintendo DS.

Many have written about the cards, and I'm one who finds them annoying. The truth is, you can achieve some success by just flailing about with your Keyblade and toggling to the occasional healing or other magic spell. The combos and sleights take getting used to. I tend to prefer a more straightforward RPG experience, without the feeling I'm juggling cards while dodging attacks and trying to line up my character with enemies all at the same time. This may be because I'm an old guy. Still, if you don't get too bogged down in the card system you can have a good time.

My son, who's 13, just beat the game for the first time after getting it for Christmas. He accomplished this without serious study of massive manuals and with school, homework, and other games taking some of his time.
