I've heard of 1 step forward and 2 steps back.. but three steps back? They crippled any sort of stragedy in the game. it became highest attack points and the race for divine monsters. Everytime I see those "suppeior" "inferior" circles I cringe.. Explain to me how a 300 attack points fire monster can crush my perfectly ultimate moth? that is over 11 times as powerful. Back to the finesse thing. The "special" option you have ot click with cards, sometimes you place the card out to hold onto, like a cyberjar. I've kept it out for 3 rounds so I could place down witch of the black forst and Sangan's to maximize the number of cards. In this game that couldn't even work since I couldn't do it in one turn. Then there is the fusion method again, I want to use the card. This fusion by placing them ontop of one another is stupid, hald the time you waste a monster by making a false fusion. Then the Card limit again, 5 cards.. what happens if I wanted to hold onto all 5 cards and work with what else I get. Don't buy it people. The previous games are alot better. The only redeaming feature at all was being able to walk around and having a story line. Besides that, it isn't worth the 2 hours it takes to beat it or the anoyance when you find all of your favorite effect monsters have been messed up royally.

cheaper by the dozen

Worst Game EVER

If you are going to get a gameboy advance yugioh game, get WWE or EDS. This game is the worst. Not only does it not follow the real rules of the card game, very good monsters such as magician of faith are totally effectless. This game is just annoying and tricks pathetic little kids into believing that this is the way to play yugioh. Also, the promo cards that come with this game are Perfectly Ulitmate Great Moth, Riryoku, and Negate Attack. Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth is totally unplayable. The people who actually say this game is good probably don't even play yugioh. I have been playing for over 2 years now, and this game changes most of the rules. World Wide Edition and Eternal Duelist Soul actually follow the rules.

I can't beleive they went backwards

I was hoping to get the best of both worlds when I bought this game. I thought with it being in an RPG atmosphere, it would be great. However, they went back to the crappy card rules of DDS. If they would have kept the same rules as WWE, and incorporated the RPG aspect, this would have been the greatest game ever. But the walking around is definitely not worth the bad style of card playing. If you are looking for an accurate representation of the actual card game, play World Wide Edition.

Unsatisfactory

This game is the absolute worst. The only reason i gave it a 1 star rating is because they do not allow the option to give negative number ratings. Do Not Buy This Game.

When people see this game, the initial response is "God cards! About time!", thinking that "Hey, they finally took away that stupid rule". Nope, turns out they took away next to ALL the rules. If you're an actual Yu-gi-oh fan, then don't waste your money. The new rules, like maximum of 5 cards...and elemental instant kills will anger you. If you only like the show, then go for it. I beat this game in 1 and a half hours, so it won't last that long. Especially since it has no multiplayer options. Best advice: Skip it, and get Worldwide edition.

do not buy

bought this game and it sucks it goes so fast i beat it in one after-noon. The god cards are cool but you get them at the end of the game and use them i 1-3 duels. If i were you i would not buy this game it is a waste of 29.99 you should buy Golden Sun the lost age of Final Fantsy they are much better games.

This is the worst game ever. The Game is based on the YU-GI-Oh show. The good thing is you can walk around. The duling is like (DDS) the cards do not do what they really do. It is easy to win but it is hard to get locater cards. NEVER BUY THIS GAME! IT IS A WASTE OF $$.
