Its a must own if you have a playstation.

I've only gotten to the third level of the game but so far its been very exciting. And I like the fact that the game has 2 players unlike the first one. If there is anyone out there who has gotten past the 2 tanks in the third board could ya please give me some hints on how to get passed them without gettin' shot.

Syphon Filter 2 is one of the greatest games for the Playstation. Continuing directly from Syphon Filter 1, you are thrust right into the action. You don't have anytime to think(people start shooting at you right away) so you better know how to play the game. OK so many people complain about this game being too difficult, but what fun is a game that is too easy. If you have not played Syphon Filter 1, you may be lost with the controls and the plot. You should definitely play SF 1 first. I rate this a 10 out of 10, for graphics, gameplay, plot, and overall excitement. Definitely worth the money.

This Syphon Filter is not as well put together as the firstone was what is this sneaking around and using your taser on guys instead of shooting them in the head and you play as both Gabe Logan and Lian Xing its just not as good as Syphon Filter but one good bright spot the weapons are still cool!

All I can say is: "WOW", what a game! This game is awesome. But I would only recommend it for people that have finished the 1st one, otherwise, it is kind of hard to understand.

Syphon Filter 2 was the very first game I played on Playstation, and I kept thinking this would be really fun if I knew what the heck I was doing. Finally I found a walkthrough on the Internet and printed it out just to give myself a clue. Now I am playing other, easier games to build up my skills, then I will return to SF2 and take care of business.

Welcome to one of the few games where you should have a strategy guide with you at all times because otherwise you will end up throwing your controller at the wall in frustration. The game is an improvement over the first one in almost every way. The original Syphon Filter had short and fairly easy missions but the new Syphon Filter has long and hard (almost impossible)missions. However if you loved the original but wished that it had better graphics and more weapons then you need to pick up SF2.

I think that this game was great. The new 2 player mode was very fun. The new guns are cool. Such as the new sniper rifles.

Okay, step by step. First, the single player. It's just as fun as the last one, and the storyline and pacing are perfect. My only complaints would be the excessive amount of stealth missions(though most are a good hybrid of stealth and combat)and that the game is too easy(I beat it in 3 days) but there's a solution to that... Next, the multi. The multi is an enjoyable change from other one on one combat games like Goldeneye(which by now is quite venerable). Granted, the view is sometimes difficult to adjust to(though you can choose horizontal or vertical split screen), especially when using grenades. I do wish that they had included a night vision multiplayer map, but you can't have everything. Now, the secrets. There is a hard mode, and it's everything it claims. I'd say it's 3 or 4 times more difficult than the regular mode. The aim of the enemy, in particular, is vastly superior, and the handy headshot aiming indicator is gone(though the headshot warning remains, thank goodness). There are enough secrets to satisfy anyone, all of them leading to enhanced multiplayer game, and then there are the secret movies... Bottom line, excellent. No reason not to buy this one if you were a fan of the last, as it's as good or better in every way.

I am not a big fan of guns or killing people, but this game kept me so busy that I beat it in three days. The missions have really cool plots and the storyline is cool, but it should have been longer. There were only 20 missions and they each take less than an hour to beat. Saving on this game is better than on the original. Now instead of only saving after the mission is over, you can save after each checkpoint, but only if you quit the game. The multiplayer missions are cool. I also like the fact that you can be gabe and lian on diferent missions. This game has way better weapons, and they took away the combat shotgun and added a crossbow, stungun (hand taser), automatic shotgun, and more. This is a must for any gamer. This may be ashort game, but requires skill to beat. I only recommend it if you already beat the first one though...
