Cool, but......

This game is pretty cool. I play it all the time.It's just that after you've played it for awhile it starts to get sort of boring. You may disagree now, but once you've played it for a few weeks it just becomes less amusing. Don't take this the wrong way, I love the Syphon Filter trilogy. And I'm waiting to buy the 3rd one. But I still think you should buy it.

hard,frustrating and super fun

this game is actually fun to play and the storyline is so great that they should make a movie out of this game.the game could get really frustrating specially when you play lian xing but once you have played through couple of stages you will get use to the sneking around and killing and i would recommend you to get a stradegy guide it makes the game lot less frustrating after you play through a couple of stages you would not want to put your controller down because you would want to find out what happens next if just they made the game a little less frustrating this would have been better than any action adventure game
SOUND
the sound of this game is awesome from the background music to the voice acting its great like when your trying to kill an enemy without letting him see you there is a slow paced music when you missed him and he saw you the music turn into fast paced.
GAMEPLAY
gameply is great the auto targeting really helps but could have more accurate
graphics
graphics are mediacore could have been better

this game is really great except for the few glitches but if you start getting into the game it is more fun and there is also a multiplayer mode and you could unlock area in multiplayer mode by finding items in one player mode.
it would be a lot easier for you if you could get the first syphon filter so you would know more about the story and it is lot easier than the second one.

Syphon Filter 2 easy

As a whole the game was pretty good. The first game was more enjoyable because the bosses were more difficult to beat. The game was too easy to figure out and I finished it in less than five evenings. However, I did like how you played two characters instead of one and getting tired of just one plot. I would recommend this game as a rental. You would definitely get your money's worth then.

This game is an actoin packed game. This is harder that the first Syphon Filter and longer too. If you liked Metal Gear Solid you'll love the Syphon Filter games. They are harder and better. There are so many weapons the game is out of control. And the 2 player mode makes for intense combat with your friends.

This game was hard to beat yet it was still fun. Unlike the first Syphonfilter it has a multi-player game. Even though I beat this game a loooonnnngggg time ago I still play it. My favorite level is the first one, even though my brother thinks it's the hardest. It's a real great shoot-em up game and the last level is a surprise ending, if you didn't find out who the bad guy was in the beginning. The game was good, but you should get the first one before you get this one. Even though I liked the first one a lot, I say that this one I better.

The games great the graphics are so-so but the game itself is great.There are many weapons it this game like shotguns,m16's and grenades.The game also has a multiplayer which the first one did not have and that really improved the game.The multiplayer is the meat of the game boy oh boy i spent 3 whole days playing this game with friends.The problem is after beating the game and having your share of multiplayer there is nothing else to do in this game.It probably would be better if 989 sports put some extra stuff for beating the game.For example maybe if you got some secret characters for multiplayer to reward you for beating the game.Anyway weather they do or dont which they dont this game is still one of the better games on the playstation.I still can't get over the horrible voice acting for some reason and i wish i could.

Compering with Syphon Filter 1, I believe that SF2 is a genius game, but I have not tried the game yet. But on Monday (when the stores are open) I will run very very very fast to the stores so I can get the game too. But I am wondering what the other customers mean with: more checkpoints, impossible missions and so on. SF2 represent something whic is really ORIGINAL I think.Tomorrow I will run faster than Carl Louis man, I will......

Intense Action

Syphon Filter 2 is an almost perferct sequel to the first game. There is more action and levels to keep you entertained. The game starts where the last one ended. The only problem is that nothing is really new in the game. 989 Studios didn't add anything that was much different except for a few weapons and the abiltiy to play as Lian. Besides its minor flaws, Syphon Filter 2 is a very fun game to play. If you are a fan of the first game then the sequel will not let you down!

Gabe with the trusty 9-mm is back!

COOLNESS! Loved the first and the second is just magaical. All plusses except one minus. . Gabes pissed off spy-slang talkin voice is raspier. And in the first Syphon Filter lips moved when they talked. What happend? Sounds like John Chacon had 8000 packs of ciggaretts after making Syphon Filter 1. This may not bother other people and he sounds more clear after level 5. The story is great but confusing in the end. Lian plays exactly the same. Deathmatch is also awesome. After you unlock all of the battlegrounds and characters it is even better. Unlocking these takes hard and sometimes strange tasks. Killing a guy with one shot as he rides a moving helicopter was a bit hard. But others are picking up strange items suchas dirty laundry, a porn magazine, and some binoculars. I just love it. And some people say that it is a METAL GEAR ripoff. No, because the origial and Metal gear were being made at the same time. In Metal Gear, nobody has eyes, vibrating your head is talking, guards can only see three feet, and Snake can take 30 bullets without dying? Syphon Filter games have smarter stealth than Metal Gear. The guards can see really far and sometimes better. Metal gear guards are stupid and have a vision radius of 3 feet. Syphon Filter characters have good graphics. In Metal Gear, everyones face is comprized of triangles and noone has eyeballs (which makes more sense because the guards are legally blind). Acting in Syphon Filter is good but is surpassed by Metal Gear. Chance says, "Da#% it, they've all got flak jackets. I hope you've got a plan." He says it with no change in pitch and it is annoying, but besides Chance's little crap solo, the acting is great. In Metal Gear, the acting surpasses some movies I have seen. Now to gameplay, you can do everything from the famous roll to running one way and shooting another. Aiming is better than Goldeneye, and the famous head shot is also passed on to the guards. Snipers in # 2 live up to their name as they shoot your head. In number one, all they were, were just guys with sniper rifles that shoot your body even if you have body armor on. And for the first time, guards can have the wonderful K-3G4 body armor piercing hand assualt rifle. The weapons surpass anything. .45's, shotguns, M-79 grenade launcher, grenades, tazers, Gabe's trusty 9-mm, sniper rifles, and of course all of those great automatics. My favorites are the air tazer, shotgun, H-11, and the silenced HK-5 pistol machinegun.

You will love it! Buy it! It is good! Narf!
