Fun, but #1 was better

This is a pretty good follow up to Syphon Filter. However, I found it a little easier then the first one. The graphics are pretty good and the sound is first rate. The new weapons are awesome, especially the crossbow and the fully automatic sniper rifle. I do wish the auto-shotgun would have been at my disposal during the entire game. I would advise on renting this game first. I was able to get through the game in a few days. Could have been better, but a fairly good time. I hope the 3rd episode is a bit more of a challenge.

Although a bit easier then SF1, SF2 is still a great game. SF2 contains a great story,killer sound effects, and outstanding graphics. My advice......BUY IT!-You won't regret it!

At first this game seems pretty much like SO many other Action/Adventure games out there...you couldn't be MORE wrong. As far as GRAPHICS, it's about the same as other games in it's genre(ie. Tomb Raider, Duke Nuke'm series...) but the thing that makes this game STAND OUT is the STORY LINE. Almost immediately after you start the game and you're thrust onto a snowy mountain peak as would-be assasins are parachuting towards you, you can't help but become emerged in the game. The CONTROLS are a little awkward, but as in any game, after a little time you figure it out. They are also easily changed to your personal specifications. BEST FEATURES: story-line, depth of game, decent graphics, easily saved progress, good two-player duel mode. WORST FEATURES: just decent graphics, sloppy/sometimes confusing controls

Overall, I LOVE the game. I'm just getting started but I find myself thinking about the game the next day and trying to work through last nights problems at work...pretty crazy, huh? Oh yeah, this game has one feature that stands out head and shoulders above any other similar game I've ever played...BEST SNIPER mode EVER!

SO give it a try...goofy name and all

Syphon Filter 2 = AWESOME!

Syphon Filter 2 is very cool. In the 3rd level you can flame guys with a flamethrower. The guys burst out with blood-curdling screams. I like the H11 rapid fire sniper rifle. The normal Sniper rifles look better. One is silenced. You can also play as Lian Xing. In two-player you can even play as a bag lady!(you need a code.) It's even 2 disks.

To me this game wasn't anything more than additional levels for the first game. This is an action game, so there really isn't much for plot - I wish they didn't bother. The graphics, and music and special effects were identical to the first, which were good (but no improvement in a sequal).

The most frustrating aspect of this game was the degree of difficulty. Maybe they felt the first game was too easy, and toughened this one up a bit. Now you have a game that is impossible to move between checkpoints without getting zapped on your first try.

On the plus side, the Enemy Artificial Intelligence is really impressive. Good action game, but if you havent played either of the two games yet, stick with the first.

For some reason, these games sell well. Boggles the mind. This game is just as bad as the first, probably worse. The controls aren't as responsive as they should be and the graphics are just bad. Playstation graphics aren't always the best but they can be much better than this chunky, ugly game. It's also too hard. Challenge is one thing, but enemies that can take you down before you can see them isn't fair or even remotely close to being fun. Do not get this game!

Syphon Filter 2 contains all of the nessassary caponents of a great game.It has the ability to send you on an emotional rollar-coaster. I bought the game and the walkthrough game book.SF2, overall is a great game...

This game is one of the worst I've played. If you want a game full of suspense,realism, and intrigue then this game is NOT for you. If you want a game of mindless running and constant shooting then by all means this is it. There is no reality here. It takes 30 bullets to kill anyone! You are just running blind hoping not to get killed. If you want a realistic game full of suspense and excitement then buy Medal of Honor. Leave Syphon Filter II to the two year olds.

Great game! great missions, great graphics, great story line. All hail those @ Sony Computer Entertainment. This game is well worth the $$$!

Syphon Filter 2 is a great game. It has more strategic planning and stealth missions than the first, but still has lots of action. If you liked the first one, you'll love this.
