if i learned anything from street fighter, just adding more doesn't help. They added more charcters, more moves, etc. nothing new since SF2Turbo, then it went all downhill. Twisted metal is in the same situation.

There is OBVIOUSLY some bias towards this game by A GAMER!

There is every reason to believe that this game will be a great game. I frequent three gaming sites and they all agree that this game is one to watch. Stages that have areas that unfold to make the levels larger: One level starts off in an enclosed arena and then the doors open up and you see that you are on a moving ocean liner, then the ship lands on an island and the inland becomes playable. That is cool!

Many characters, each with their own story that are revealed as you play as each one. Great gameplay and great graphics. Do yourself a favor and ignore the "1" ratings that seem to be showing up on this game, ...

Don't disappoint me baby!

The only reason I wanted a PS2 to begin with was of two games... Twisted Metal Black and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty I've seen the video quality of this game and obviously they put some GREAT effort into it... I am betting on this game being a great success... The rest of the PS2 games so far have just been slapped together and don't harness any of the PS2's Graphic Capibility.

A must buy for ant PS2 owner!

I have seen many still shots for this game and they are unbelievable. This is one of the few PS2 games that uses the full power of PlayStation 2. Levels and storylines unfold beautifully as you play through the game.

My Hopes are High.

Does anyone else remember the sinking feeling of playing TM3 the first time? After endless hours of fun with friends on TM2, I was sickened to see this neutered version of what should be a beautifully clunky and violent game. I have researched TM:B in great detail and being that the TM1/TM2 team is back under a new name (previously Singletrac, now Incognito) I can GUARANTEE that this is a five of five game. Epic sized levels, extreme detail in every element of the game, a new frightening premise - it all leads the creation of brilliance. I have preordered.

I read on a credible website that there is supposed to be an add on disk out in November 2001 that allows owners of Twisted Metal Black to be able to play online. Just a rumor, for whatever that's worth.

I don't see how this game can fail.

With an excellent, twisted storyline, characters that have you half laughing, half freaking out because of their past (a guy who wheres the skull of a friend who he was forced to eat in Vietnam, crazy!), and an excellent car demolition engine, it is hard to find any faults within this game. The graphics are incredible, the landscapes are huge, the cars are incredibly detailed, and the whole game is destructable with a dark, evil look. Fans of the Twisted Metal Series won't be disappointed.

This game covers all aspects of a great game, graphics, story, etc. I give it a 5 because of how great of a job they did coming back to making a game that they didn't even make the 2 sequals to. And they even were succesfull on the playstation 2. It was a challenge to make it succesfull on the PS2 with all the space to make it better. Thats why I give it a 5.

This...Means...Trouble. Here we go again with TM5 for the PS2. Do you feel that after TM2 the whole saga of TM games had gone to pot? So did I. Back again with some of our favorite characters like....um, I don't know, Sweet Tooth, Outlaw, Darkside etc. Except, they got a MAJOR make over. Like on TM1, there will be pedestrians, and yes they will be fair game. Also new contestants, each with a different and engrossing story line. Sweet Tooth again is back and with a major makeover. And just so you know this clown ain't funny, and he ain't about to spread joy. Rememeber be safe buckle-up. As if that's going to help you.....
