Greatest game ever

This is the best type of stratagy game there is, it makes age of empires seem so bad. 1 player games are great. you can be either zurg, protoss, or terran. When i got it the first time i thought " man theres only three civilizations". but there is so much to do with each civilization. so many warriors and buildings to make....things to reserch. its really fun..but the best part of this game is online you can play with your friends do minigames and all these other awsome use map settings games. THIS IS DEFINATLY A BEST BUY!!!!!!!!!

Perfect expansion

This is one of the best expansions I have ever played and seeing how this expansion is for starcraft it the best.
I would give the sound 8/10 because of some of the blurry
sound acting like the dark archon sounds wierd almost like
a plugin giving of a shock but the music is really cool how the zerg sounds really silent at first but then it starts to play electronic music :). I give the graphics 9/10 because they really never changed much but when your playing you won`t notice some harmless glitch or grahics but to spice it up they
have cool full 3d movies for the ending of the game and for the start. I give the gameplay 1000000/10 this game is so cool I`m addictied to it I love it it`s the best stradegy game I ever played so go buy the normal staracraft then come order this.

StarCraft Brood Wars isn't really a great game. It took me just one game to love it but I got tired of it after about 8 months after I finished playing it. I got this game about 2 years ago.... Buy something more useful or educational.

I have had Brood War for quite awhile and I have never gotten tired of it. I was starting to get a little bored with Starcraft until I got this expantion. For those of you that say they made zerg too weak, I think you are wrong. Even though it might seem as if protoss are too strong, they really aren't. In Starcraft, zerg was the strongest with long range shooters and useful spells. Protoss and terran were the weakest, especially protoss, fitting in with the plot perfectly. In Brood War, all of the races are evened out after the destruction of the overmind on Char. Some of the zerg's strongest units are counteracted with smaller ones of the other units. I must remind you, however, that the lurkur is a very powerful fighter, especially for defence. I couldn't count how many zealots I have lost from lurkurs. If you learn to use all of the races' advantages correctly, you will find the races are equal in strength. I suggest this expantion set to everyone. It adds many interesting plot twists and awesome new units. I have enjoyed it, and I know you will too.

I thought that this game was soo good because they now have made the races more equal in power. The zerg have 2 new characters, 1 which is called a lurker and gets in the ground and attacks, I love that guy. The Protoss have 1 new warrior and the terran have 2 new units. I would definately buy this game if you are starting to get sick of the same old levels and characters from the original Starcraft. I would recomend this game to anyone that likes to play strategy war science fiction games like Command and Conquer, Age of Empires, and Warcraft. This is a defiante buy though if you have the original Starcraft. Thanks

The graphics are the best they could get for this genre The wonderful balance of the 3 races make it the best desighned game yet to come out. The expansion just adds even more excitement to this already electric game.Sparks fly when you start playing this game.I would give it 7 stars but hey thats just not possible.

Much better than the original.

review by:Bloody-Templar Much better than the first one.Campaign Editor allows you to do desert,twilight,and snow terrain plus all the old terrain.The missions are very challenging and it took me a few weeks to beat it.

This game rocks! it is the best game other than half-life's counterstrike game but online this game is really cool and is fun for years if you play online. bottom line,

Starcraft Brood War is one of my favorites. The new addition to the Zerg army, the lurkers, make destroying your enemy more challenging. The dark archons are invisible and can controll other races like the Zerg or the Terran. Well, if you are a big internet gamer, this is the game you definitely want to buy.

This game is great. I have a new computer and I still am able to go back to Broodwar/Starcraft even though it may seem outdated. It just shows that a game is built off of more than graphics and more on replay value and gameplay.
