i recomend this game it is a sweet game you get 3 species zerg, terran, and protoss!

if you like stradegy/platform youll love this game if you ever played age of empires its kinda like that except futrueistic!

here are the pros and cons of this:
Pros:
*Great graphics and sound
*Awesome gameplay and a large variaty of fighters
*Player vrs. comp or player vrs player in multiplayer
*Many choose map settings, melle etc. games to choose from in multi
*Good for learning stratiegic(sp?) skills
*All around fun
Cons:
*A lil' too adictive

Starcraft is definetly the best game ever to come out for PC, Broodwar made starcraft even more popular by adding a few units to the game. One thing I like about this game it never gets boring, takes a while to learn to play but is the most addictive game on the market. I don't think that this game will ever die down. However I do think that Blizzard should come out with another expansion to Broodwar, its been like 4 years already, all they need to do is add a few units and its going to be a best seller for like 4 months straight. Anyway if you never played this game you don't know ehat you are missing.

StarCraft was an epic real-time strategy game that combined good gameplay with a good storyline, all enhanced by good music and decent graphics. Set in a distant part of the galaxy, the game features humans (or terrans) fighting a civil war while caught in the crossfire of a battle between two other alien races: the psychic, contemplative protoss and the swarming, insect-like zerg. As in any other real time strategy game, the player controls various military units (foot soldiers, tanks (or their equivalent), aircraft, etc) and builds up a supply base while achieving a set military objective. Gameplay is continuous, so commands must be given while action occurs in the game.

This expansion pack continues the storyline of StarCraft, but it adds little to the gameplay. A few new types of units with limited abilities are added, but the units have limited capabilites (such as slow, weak air-to-air attacks or heal unit capabilities) that do not really add to the excitement. New scenery is added, but the scenery is not that exciting. The movies in the story mode are interesting, but the plot overall is not as exciting as in the original StarCraft.

For fans of the original StarCraft, this is a must-have expansion pack. For the casual game player (who must already own StarCraft to play this game), this expansion pack does not offer much more than what can already be found in StarCraft.

this is one sweet game. the original was good, but Blizzard made many small, but great improvements or disimprovements to the units. Also adding some new units, although some I have to admit are a bit useless. I love playing multi-player, it's probably the best feature. Often StarCraft Brood War frustrates me, but in aggod way. You think you've found the solution to a unit and then the comp. smashes you with another. Extremely addicting, so you may want to pace yourself. This is the BEST game ever, for any concole or the computer.

this game is sweet because you can choose from three different story modes, terran, zerg and protoss. and also what is cool about this game is that it is an expansion pack. i dont know/get haow to play mutiplayer on this game but everyone else pry does. you can also make your own place. if only they made one of these for GC,PS2,or XBOX. if you know how to play warcraft you know how to play this game. all the people are different in this game and which fate will you choose?

I know about it,my friends do too.Sounds,units,EVERYTHING is soooooooooo cooooooooool!!!!!!!!!If I could give it as many stars as I want,I would give it infinitive stars(really).Anyways,I used a cursor that looks like a StarCraft cursor and a neon cursor and lots others(from comet cursor).

A small improvement over Starcraft

Brood War is a small improvement over Starcraft; it has only 8 new units and a few new upgrades. The medics and valkyries are almost useless. The corsairs have little use. The dark templar are good units, but since they appear as heroes in Starcraft, they aren't much of an addition. The dark archons are awesome units, with an unbelievable amount of armor and awesome abilities such as mind control. The Zerg devourer is the largest and most powerful Zerg air unit in the game. The lurker is the only unit that can attack while burrowed. Despite all this; I only reccomend Brood War for diehard Starcraft fans, since it adds little to the game.

STARCRAFT IS THE BEST GAME YOU CAN BUY! WITH THREE DIFFERENT RACES (TERRAN, ZERG, AND MY FAVORITE PROTOSS), IT'S A GAMING EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEVER FORGET. PLUS, WITH THE CAMPAIGN EDITOR YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN MAP. THEY CAN BE AS GOOD AS THE REAL ONES IF YOU'RE GOOD WITH MAP TRIGGERS. STARCRAFT IS NUMBER ONE, AND NO ONE CAN HAVE A DECENT ARGUMENT AGAINST THAT.
