Based On What I've Seen and Been Told...

Animal Crossing (Called Animal Villiage in Japan) Is what you might call an RPG. The only Game that resembles anything like it is any title in the Harvest Moon Series. In Animal Villiage, you create a name for a town and for yourself, and you move into that town, already occupied by several animals with human traits. You get to pick one of four vacant houses (Leaving, of course, three left) and you basically go on with daily life in a villiage with many things to do, buy, and say. (You can write letters too.) Although this is fun, the coolest part of this game is that you can have more than one human player live in one town. The new player moves into one of the town's vacant houses and can do, buy, and say everything that the other players do. (Max: 4 Players in one town) This is even cooler. If you have a friend who has saved a town onto a memory card, you can visit their town and in the process, animals from the other town might move to yours, or vice versa. This is truly an amazing game. Buy it as soon as it comes out, You'll Love It!

This is a great game

Just so everyone knows this is not a game boy color game. It is a Gamecube game. It's cool too.

Nintendo's Take on The Sims...

Animal Crossing is a game unlike any other, so much so that one might even question if it is a "game" at all. There is no conflict, and there are no real goals other than those that you set for yourself. Despite this, however, Animal Crossing has a mysterious and addictive quality. Whether you're improving your house or just want to see how the town is doing, you'll find yourself turning the game on several times a day to manage your vitual self's lifestyle.

Like the Dreamcast game Seaman, time passes in Animal Crossing in real time, even when your Gamecube is off. Your town will continue to develop while you're at school or work, so there's always something to do. Should you go pick apples to sell at the market? Maybe run some errands for your friends and rearrage your furniture? Or, if you haven't played for a while, you'll have to get rid of that pesky roach infestation that developed while you were gone.

Animal Crossing is also one of the first games to interact with the Gameboy Advance. When your GBA is connected, you'll be able to travel to a little island offshore to get money from a mysterious cat. Using the GBA, players will also be able to unlock new items using the new GBA eCard reader device and special Animal Crossing eCards.

Animal Crossing is completely unique and may not appeal to everyone, but it's a wonderfully enjoyable experiment for those that can wrap their brains around it.

Animal crossing is a mix of the sims and an RPG. This game give you freedom to do almost anything you want. When you begin the game you're on a train. This guy asks you're name and what town you're going to. No one town is the same. Once you get there yu get soled a house. You have to have a part time job. You collect stuff to add to you're hous. You make friends. Do tasks, fish, and even search for dino bones. The NES games that you get can be transfered over the GBA GC link cable, and you can play the NES games on your Gameboy advance. You can even ri apart flowers or plant them. You can visit museums and visit shops. You can mail letters and trade items with friends. And if you bring your memory card to a friends house who also has animal crossing and visit there town. Even a health inspector comes to your house and rates it.

This is one of the most innovative games ever. It's almost like a secnd life. The folks at Nintendo have done it again and put together one of the most creative games ever seen!

When I first heard of animal crossing i didnt think much of it that is until i found out what it really was about. You start out on a train and a animal asks you what town your going to thats when you name your town. then you get off the train and meet the stationmaster who will ask you your name. then a friendly racoon named tom nook will greet you and loan you a house untill you pay it off. After that you can do a variaty of things like buy furniture and decrotives. you can hunt for bugs pick fruit, fish. Its totally up to you. you can also buy animal crossing for GBA and use the GC GBA link to transport your character to a different island to search for forgien items. Its like haveing a second life. It also runs on real time so if its dark in the real world it will be dark in animal crossing, if its winter in real time it will snow in your animal crossing town. I recommend this game to everyone everywhere

First of all, it's not a Game Boy Color game. Second of all, now for my reviews. Ahem...Animal Crossing is a great game. You can do so many things. It is great for all ages. Everyone will have fun. You can do...These things: Name your character and town, ride a train to town to town, visit your friend's town by using the Memory Card, mail letters, change clothes, get a job, play original NES games, custumize your house, visit a mysterious island by using the GBA-GC connector, visit people's houses, if it's your birthday-you'll receive a gift and letters! This isn't a game. I'm not sure what to call it. I guess a mini-virtual life. If you reserve it, trust me:You will love it. It is not a game that contains stages, levels or boss-fights, just doing your daily routines. It may not sound fun, but if you look in pictures in Mags (Nintendo Power recommeded) you'll see how fun it really is.

The best game EVER!!! (In my opinion)

I am a subscriber to Nintendo Power and I saw Animal Crossing from E3 2002, the game looks like no other game I have seen before!!! When you first start you get to name a town that is diffrent from other Animal Crossings, when you arive a monkey greets you and asks for your name. Soon you will meet Tom Knook who will let you choose between 4 houses for you to live, but you don't have much money so he loans it to you until you can pay it off. The time runs by the real time of where you live!!! In one day you can watch fireworks, catch frirflies, bees, and fish, pick apples, buy clothes, furniture, and a coke machine!!!

Animal Crossing sounds great! I've read so much about it and I am getting it on the first day! A word of advice. If you like this game look into harvest moon games! btn and 64 are the best. Animal crossing is a communication game that can last for years due to its internal clock. You can buy nes games for your house, design your clothes, get graded on decorating, go on treasure hunts, catch bugs, and so much more. But don't get fooled buy its cute appearace, it will be awesome!

LOOKS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!
