Buffy Kicks [Booty]

A truly enjoyable game offering up something for everyone. You don't have to be a fan of the show to appreciate this game. If you are a fan, you will recognize all of the characters/locations and there are a few inside jokes strewn about for your enjoyment too. The controls are easy to master and the objectives are clearly laid out at the start of each level. As you progress, you will learn new slayer moves and obtain new weapons. All the major characters are voiced by the actors with the not-so-notable exception of Buffy. I say not-so-noticable because the voice for the character of Buffy sounds almost as good as the original. This game is fun, pure and simple. The ONLY complaint I have is the fact that Buffy's jumping abilities are limited and there are a few levels that make this a big issue. Still, don't miss out on this game. It's worth every penny.

Way fun...even for non-Buffy fans...

...I really love the gameplay of this game. One button for kicks, one for punches...but the combo system is really deep and fun to work with. The story moves pretty quickly, and the cast all look and sound great. The graphics aren't the best ever, but still look really good. I'm not a Buffy watcher, but the game makes you want to be one. Go pick this one up!

Being the Slayer

Buffy the vampire slayer has to be one of the best games for Xbox. The whole game is an enjoyable experience and will never let you down. Whether if it's the main game or the special arenas, you will simply have a blast. My main attraction to the game is the fact that i got to be the slayer. When you get into the game u feel like you really are the slayer and it feels great. Every punch, kick, and stake feels like ecstasy. You can take out all of your frustrations on the vamps when you are having a bad day. U feel like you are the slayer and are in control. It's an indescribable feeling when you play. SO i guess the only way to experience it is if you actually play it. One cool way to play is with friends, siblings, cousins, or whatever.
One of you can start off the main game and when you die, you can pass it to the next player and let the next slayer take their place. I highly recommend this game to any buffy fan or just anyone who wants to play a really cool game. You won't regret it.
OH, and in my opinion, one of the best ways to die is being bit by a vampire. Especially being bit by Angel or Spike, having them hold you and just suck the life out of you. It feels a little...good.

I loved the game!

I really liked the game. It was fun and I am not a hardcore gamer. I am a huge Buffy fan. It takes place in the 3rd Season of the show--so it is classic. I loved the unresolved sexual tention between Buffy and Spike in the game! It is so cool.

I just have to say that this game kicks ...! Not only does it have creepy music just like the show, but it has most of the casts voices as their characters.(except Sarah Michelle Gellar) This game lets you step into the shoes of Buffy and lets you get a feel of what it would be like to be a Slayer. It has a training mode that teaches you all that you need to know to get started in the game. It has 3 different settings (easy medium and hard) which you can set for yourself. I have just recently beaten the game and realized what I great time I had playing it. I cannot wait for the next game (Buffy 2-Chaos Bleeds) to come out. Wheter a Buffy fan or not, this game is a must-have.

Step into the shoes of Buffy Summers. In this game you will have fight off the deamonic creatures of the night. You will recognize some of the other fellow "scoobies" as Xanderand Willow. This game is loaded with over 50 slayer moves. You'll get to use such things as shovels, mops, rakes, baseball bats, crossbows and ofcourse the stakes. When you first start the game, you face these really whimpy vamps then as you proceed, they start to get harder and harder. Almost every level has a secret hidden somewhere, so keep an eye out. There is only one word to describe this game... GREAT!! Roughly based on the shows third season, you'll see some friendly, and not so friendly faces. There is only one thing you need to remember "a good slayer knows whats around her" All in all I'll have to say that this game is offially 5 by 5!

There is only three words to describe this game(well, actually there is more, but I only had enouh room for three) "GREAT!...FUN!...&...ENTERTAINING!

As a fan of the television series, I saw an advertisement for this Xbox game during the show and thought it looked fun. My boyfriend actually bought me an Xbox as a birthday gift solely so I could play this game. As a thirty year old woman with no video game playing since the early days of Atari 2600 (think Pac-Man and Pitfall)I found myself being sucked in to this incredibly fun and challenging world. I love the puzzles and combat but I must admit the monotony of the clever little quips does become annoying. Couldn't they have recorded a few more of them? I also found some of the graphics errors a bit annoying - such as the ability of a female vampire to blast a death ray through supposedly solid walls, or a vampire getting trapped half-way in and half-way out of a semi-open door. Also, every villain supposedly has some critical flaw that one is supposed to exploit while fighting it but I couldn't really figure it out. I also was unable to figure out how to throw vials as weapons. But then again I am a very inexperienced video game player. I also found the inability to save at any given point very very frustrating as it greatly reduced my desire to try new or daring things because if Buffy got killed I new I would have to start the whole damn level all over again.

Despite these set-backs however, the game is incredibly fun bordering on addictive. I have since acquired several other games but I play this one almost exclusively.

Buffy is just... AAAUUUGGH!
