I think Buffy the Vampire Slayer game is great!. Even though I haven't played it, yet. I am a big fan of Buffy, and I just wanna say to the creators of this game... EXCELLENT JOB!. I love the scenes and how the characters were made. I also want to say to Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanaz, Marc Blucas, and all the other cast members... you guys have inspired me so much. I am like your # 1 fan!. P.S. I LOVE BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER... YOU RULE!.

Pound for pound, the most boring game I've ever played. More action in Atari's Space Invaders. Obvious continuation of Teen Beat Magazines to market untalented actor(s) in every entertainment media as possible. Suggest you save your money and sit alone in a dark closet for more fun.

Buffy is one of the best concepts/games I've ever played. At first I thought "Hunter: The Reckoning" would be better but Buffy is definitely better. This is definitely a must buy/rent. The only reason I suggest not buying this game and renting instead is if you are one of the people like me who played games like Max Payne, Spider Man, or Tomb Raider, you don't want it all that much after you beat it except to play it a time or two again. BUT THIS GAME IS DEFINITELY A GREAT GAME AND A MUST BUY/RENT WHETHER YOU ARE A FAN OR NOT!

I have been playing this game for like a week. For any true die hard Buffy fan you would love it!! You go through all these popular Buffy haunts, and you get to kick some serious [rear]. The lines get kind of boring after a while, because you hear them over and over again. This game is the best I have ever played. I would recommend it for the absolute die hard Buffy fan.

I rented this game because I was bored and needed something to do. I'm not a fan of Buffy but there was nothing left at Blockbuster. Well, I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed this game. On the downside, she has a number of sayings that she repeats constantly and that can get a little annoying. Other than that, the game was great. Don't be throw off by the 'Buffy' title. It's really a fun game.

This game was the reason I purchased an xbox six months ago over the playstation 2. And from what I've seen so far it looks like I made the right decision! Every screen shot and every demo I've seen have looked absolutely beautiful! I am a huge fan of the show first and foremost and it pleases me to know end to know that the game will follow the TV show as close as it is. War the buffy nation, I'm OUT!

OKAY, SOO DON'T FOLLOW THE OTHER PPL'S REVIEWS WHO CLAIM THEY HAVE PLAYED IT EXCEPT AT THE WORLD CUP OR WATEVER... BASICALLY THE GAME FOCUSES ON FIGHTING VAMPIRES AND OTHER BADDIES SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR THE GAME LIKE HORDES AND GLOWING VAMPIRES(THEY ARE VERY STRONG, I KEEP DYING FROM THEM)VERY LITTLE PUZZLE SOLVING. THE CONTROL IS LIKE ANY OTHER FIGHTING GAME (DEAD OR ALIVE, VIRTUA FIGHTER) JUMP PUNCH KICK STAKE(U CAN STAKE VAMPIRES BEFORE U EVEN DEPLENIISH THERE LIFE METER IT KEWL=). WHEN U FIRST PLAY THE GAME IT'S KEWL BECAUSE YOU CAN JUST BUTTON MASH AND U WILL PULL OFF AMAZING COMBOS BUT AS U KEEP PLAYING AND PLAYING U WILL FIND THE PATTERN AND TECHINIQUE OF THE MADDER. WHEN I TALK ABOUT TECHNIQUE, I MEAN PULLING OFF MID AIR STUNTS...MAI FAVORITE, YOU PUNCH PUNCH KICK (OPPONANT GOES IN TO THE AIR) SPIN KICK PUNCH KICK AND STAKE TO THE HEART ENDING IN A FLIP DUSTING WHICH LOOKS REALLY KEWL! YOU SHOULD EXPLORE A LOT BECAUSE U CAN FIND CRYSTALS AND ORBS THAT WILL INCREASE UR HEART METER OR BLOOD COUNT, IF UR NOT AFRAID OF FIGHTING VAMPIRES! WELL I WASN'T TOO INTO THE GAME BEACUSE I ONLLY HAD THE DEMO...BUT I KEEP PLAYING IT OVER AND OVER BECASE BUFFY IS SOO FUN. YOU SHOULD REALLY SEE THE OPENING MOVIE! THE GUIDE SAYS THE GAME TAKES ABOUT 30 HOURS FOR PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT DETERMINED WHILE ITS HOULD TAKE 18-20 HOURS FOR DETERMINED GAMERS. THE MUSIC IS A LIL EERIE THO! THE HARDEST VAMPIRE TO FIGHT ARE THE GLOWING ONES BECAUSE THEY HAVE MID AIR COMBOS THAT KEEP U LOCKED INTO THE AIR AND KILL U AFTER LIKE 5 OUT OF THE 7 HITS. BASICALLY U SHOULD GET THE GAME...HOWEVER THE GAME ISN'T TOO BLOODY AND GORY AS I WAS HOPING IT WAS. BUT I FOUND IN SUM PLACES THAT THE FRAME MOVEMENT LOCKS A LITTLE...MAYBE BECAUSE IT WAS AN EARLIER DEMO BEFORE THE CREATORS GOT THE KINKS OUT...IT ROCKS!

This is a number one game!!!!! if you are a fan of the show, you will see that it is just like an episode and with the soundtrack, voices, and levels and hidden secrets it will keep anyone busy for hours even if you are not a fan!. i also know that there is a buffy two coming out in the summer 2003....which looks even better!!!
