They didn't ruin a great game

If you played DOA2 for the dreamcast, don't worry; they didn't butcher an awsome game. Most of the characters, features and moves are all in tact. With some nice additions. The Drunken boxer is simply awsome, and now throws can be done as part of juggle combos with some players.

If you have never played DOA2 before or 3 for that matter. This game has a unique combat system that combines juggles with the ability to counter almost anything making a paper rock scissors type of combat system that almost self-balances the fighters.

Gone are the days of "cheap" moves and domination with DOA. And the 4 player modes and tag modes are simply addictive.

A Fun Game. Definately Must for XBox

DOA2 Hardcore was great on the PS2, and this game blows it away, in terms of features, additional characters, and ESPECIALLY graphics. I can't believe how much better the graphics on XBox are compared to the Playstation 2.

Definately a two player game though. Too easy and boring in story mode. The end boss is the cheesiest, cheapest excuse for AI programming in the world. What was Tecmo thinking?

Good game, easy game.

Dead or Alive 3 is a good game. (Wow, real exciting.) The graphics are amazing and suck you right up. There are tons of different combos you can do for each character, including lots of counter moves that can turn the tides of a battle. There are a good variety of characters who all have their own personalities and styles. (They all speak in Japanese, even if they're from America or Russia) The levels are destroyable and there are lots of different stages. For instance, you can get knocked off a balcony and end up in a totoally different spot. Also, the controls are easy to learn, making it one of those games you can start playing right away. My only complaint is it's way to easy, I beat story mode in about a half of an hour. The two player options are much more entertaining. Lets see, anything else? Oh yeah, "She kicks high!"

Fighting games were always hard for me to get into, but this game's amazing. Its not hard to do some rockin' combos like you see the pro's do with insane button combos on previous games. The multilevel arenas are a definite bonus, along with the beautiful women fighters... oh yeah... buy this one, you won't regret it. Rock on!

What are you people talking about a game shouldnt be given 1 star just because of the story. The gameplay and graphics are good and just because the story is dum doesnt mean you shouldnt buy a great fighting game.

Way Too Simple

This game has some really tight graphics, but I rented it about 30 minutes ago and I beat it ten minutes later and that's including watching the little movie before the game. If you like games where you can press any buttons and not know what you're doing and still win, then this game is for you. However, if you're looking for a game with awesome graphics and detail that has a bit more challenge, try Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Hell, even DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball was more challenging than this waste of time.

Rent this before you buy it or you'll be sorry.

What's Good: Nice graphics. Great, creative moves that are easy to use. Its one of the top 3 fighting games along with Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat when it comes to enjoyable characters. Lots of attitude and a killer soundtrack provided by Aerosmith!

What's Bad: Like most fighting games these days, it's waaaaaaaaay too simple. It took me less than 10 minutes to beat all of the other characters. Weak storylines! What's with the characters talking in Japanese and having English subtitles? The rounds are way too short. Each round lasts like 30 seconds and that if you've got a good fight on your hands. If it's a weak fight, then about 15 seconds top. You only play one round with each character. There's about 7 characters you have to fight. You do the math.

Ways To Improve: The graphics are top notch in my book, work on the game play and make the game more difficult without making it too difficult. Have a mode where you can accesorize your characters ala Extreme Beach. Get rid of the subtitles and make the characters speak English for the love of Christ!!

Easy Game play makes this game really fun to play. The graphics are awesome and smooth. the only thing I would like to see improved on is the story mode for the game so that it would actually have a plot of some kind other than just going to the next fight.

I said Bounce Bounce, COME ON BOUNCE! *gunshot*

Wow... This is the best freakin game I have ever played (aside Halo) You get some hot women that equal their bounce with my women. The moves are awesome and it will be treasured for a long time. (IF you get it, don't rent, just buy)
