Fun and Downgrade

Lumines is a vary fun and addicting game but another reason I have is for Dowgrading my PSP for custom firmware. A must buy for fun and cracking your PSP wide open with awesome custom firmware possibilities!

even if u hate puzzle games it's still really fun!
u can get backrounds + songs called skins.there hard to get though,I only have 3 :(

when u create your file,u get to choose a character that dances at the bottom of the screen when playing.the doggie is the best!
playing with the headphones is really cool for this game!

MUST BUY!!!!

this game is so fun it will liturly SUCK YOU IN!!!!
the frist day i got it i could NOT put it down!!!! it's challangeing and i would not suggest it for 6 and under. it also in MY opinion almost "teaches" problem solving.

Shipping costs way too much!

I ordered this through Amazon since it's out of stock basically everywhere locally. I did note before ordering that this is available through Amazon partner Digital Velocity. Ok, a little annoying since I can't use Amazon Prime for shipping, but I'm willing to deal with that.

The only shipping option through Digital Velocity is "standard" 3-7 day delivery. Ok, a little more annoying but at least that's inexpensive. I'm still saving the sales tax on this vs buying it locally. The estimated shipping cost was reasonable.

I just got the order confirmation. The receipt says it'll cost $11 to ship a PSP game for "standard" 3-7 days delivery. You HAVE to be kidding! I'm going to do everything I can to cancel this order, but since it's with a partner and not Amazon directly that's tricky.

Amazon, please stop dealing with partners that advertise fake low prices and jack them up by charging 3-4 times what it costs to ship.

Lumines has some of the most addicting music and visuals i have ever seen on a game. Every time you move the blocks or get them cleared from the screen they make a beet to the current music playing. Little animations in the background are amazing and funny. But what they dont tell u is that this game is hard! THIS GAME IS HARD ! ! ! I bought this game a week ago and played it for an hour, i was only able to get to level two. The game is fast and confusing. I RECOMEND U RENT BEFORE U BUY. If u are good at it, then love it to death. But if ur like me and want a game that you can at least be able to play then dont buy. I would just like to know how in the world some of these people are even able to play it.

Obviously this a Tetris style puzzle game. The music is amazing and goes with the game the way a fat kid goes with cake. This game is way better than Tetris ever was. Lummies has a colorful backround and is VERY addicting. This is a very good pick up and play game. I perfer this game over Mercury although I like both. I am also an action gamer and don't even really like puzzle games!

This game is basically a joke. It's a puzzle game that's like Tetris, only much less fun. Back in the GameBoy era this might have been a good title, but today it's just can't keep up. Graphics and sound are amazingly bad, but much of that is the fault of the PSP, not just the game. PSP is very underpowered. Also the battery life on the PSP when playing this game is just terrible, you practically have to play right next to a power outlet.

Some people are using this game to illegally downgrade their firmware. I personally know two people who bricked their PSPs trying to do this so I suggest you do not attempt this. Just stay away from this awful game and the joke of a console that is the PSP.

$40 for a Tetris clone??

I couldn't disagree more with the other reviewers. I played this a bit at my local Best Buy store and I simply couldn't understand why anyone would pay $40 (plus sales tax) for a Tetris game, because this is what Lumines ultimately is. Yes, it's got tons of eye candies and funky music tracks, but the gameplay is essential Tetris. Maybe I didn't spend enough time with it to discover its "depth", but I'll never pay $40 for a Tetris game.

I can't put this game down... Although it's the only game I have, but I love it... I've borrowed my brother's and got my own, and then I share it with friends who have also gotten their own PSP's. It's fun challenging them and now I can't wait to play against my brother... That is if I can remember to give him his game back... =) Sorry Mikey!!!

I bought it because of all the good review. But after spending 5 weeks with game, I cannot imagin how on earth this game has such a good review. I mean wherever you see on the net, it has pretty good rating for no good reason.

As far as I'm concern, this is only a spin-off from tetris. Nothing more!!!
