Love this game!!! I can not put it down! Love the mind challenge! Awesome music and backdrops! Going to get Lumines 2 now!

When the psp had first come out and everyone was praising Lumines, I wondered how good could this puzzle game really be but after recently buying it, I now totally understand. This is one of those games that completely sucks you in. You will most likely rarely play your other psp games as often because of how addicting Lumines is. After getting a game over you will probably want to keep playing again and again to get a higher score or to unlock new skins. Well, this is easily the killer app for the psp and if you don't already own it, I highly recommend that you go get this one immediately.

The game play is very addictive right from the start. The only part that could use some work is the soundtrack, but it is just a minor problem, that aside Lumines could be called a religous experiance for gaming.

I do prefer Tetris over this game, but it is fun and somewhat addictive. There are several different modes that you can play which helps. After playing the normal style of play, you get highscores that take an hour to beat and that gets a bit old. That's when I had to start trying the other timed challenges so that I wouldn't have to play 60 minutes to feel like I might get into the high score list again.

It's a game that you can take anywhere to play. Play one game and put it down..which is nice as you don't have to remember where you were and what you were doing to pick it right up again.

Overall, a fun game and worth a discounted price.

Lumines is a great puzzle game, that is similar to tetris, but a whole new beast in its own way. Basically if you like tetris you'll love lumines. The pace of the game picks up quickly just like the music. Throughout the game you will be playing to different beats (music) and skins (backgrounds). The game evolves into a fast paced race to match similar cubes into square patterns, before you run out of space. That is pretty much it. Its kind of hard to explain how Lumines works, you get a square that contains 4 smaller squares, each level only consists of 2 colors for example red and white. Basically you need to match the colors into square or rectangle patterns. It seems easy but will quickly prove otherwise. I have a good 30 hours invested in the game and I still havent beat it. Overall it is a fun puzzle game that is great for killing time.

This game is both adequately challenging and thoroughly enjoyable, something I would not say about most other puzzle games outside of Tetris. The basic concept is simple enough for children to grasp readily, and yet it allows for strategic thinking and advancement as one gains experience playing. I would have more to say about it, but my wife hardly ever stops playing long enough to let me have a go!

i just picked this game up yesterday and seriously can't put it down. i'm a big fan of the PS2 game REZ and when I found out they were responsible for Lumines I had to get it. Didn't even need to play it first. These guys do such an amazing job mixing music and game play. You find yourself totally immursed in the game, like you're one with the beats and notes that you make from the game. Your brain starts to run on auto pilot.

This game has some intense game play but can also be picked up and put down as desired. I wanted a game that didn't require a lot of time dedication (even though I've played it 4 hours today) and didn't need me knowing about previous versions (GTA). I just wanted something fun that gave the feeling of "playing".

This game is great. I can't really give a description that does it justice, but if you like tetris and an encompasing musical experience, give this game a try. I doubt you'll be dissappointed. Best game for PSP!

THIS IS THE GAME YOU WANT AND NEED TO DOWNGRADE ANY PSP FROM A 3.5 TO 1.5. I FOUND IT AT MY LOCAL LIBRARY (for free) AND FOLLOWED ON LINE INSTRUCTIONS AND IT WORKED PERFECT. SO SAVE YOUR SELF THE 35 DOLLARS IF THATS ALL U WANT IT FOR AND TAKE A TRIP TO THE YOUR LOCAL BOOK EMPORIUM!

To everyone who gave this game anything under 4 stars needs to retire from the video game world. To all of you who complain that this game is to hard...go take a nap. This game is a little complicated at first but TRUST ME!! You will catch on very quickly and you will fall in love. (I made it to level 14 on my first try and currently get up to 78). This game is pretty hard when it comes to the vs. cpu mode but thats what makes it what is is. Graphics are great, sound is great, everything is great.

My favorite part of the game is when I work so hard to unlock a new skin (which can take very long by the way) and i finally get it it's like i just cured cancer.

Get this game now. ORDER NOW!!!!!!!
