This game is good,infact,great.But for $30 it aint worth it.Its fun but there arent so many modes to look forward to and there is only 1 mode where you can unlock new things,but it keeps getting harder and when you loose,you dont win anything or you win some little things.Point is,great game,wait till the price drops or rent it.

Worth every penny.

This game is worth every penny, it is one of the funnest handheld games i've played in a long time.
> The music in this game is great, it has a cind of techno/dance vibe. Mind you that I lissen the rap and i still liked the music.

I liked this game but after the frist level I started to find the game a little boring

But if you have a DS get meteos first. Lumines is fun but the challenge mode is out of the question. I don't want to lose on level 74 and then lose and start from the beginning!

And unlocking thing in Meteos is way more fun than this game,and they're USEFUL unlockables.In lumines its all skin and avatars,in Meteos its different planets that effect your game and unlockable items!

but Lumines is still fun....

I didn't buy the game to play but for other use, but I'm here to talk about the seller which on this case was excenlent!!
I order and exactly 1 week later I had the product and new as said on the product details. Very good quality shipping first class I think it's enough now!! =D

the game is as they say highly addictive and very easy to learn but most importantly it lives up to its hype of all the cool graphics and hot beats

Lumines, a PSP launch game, is quite the entertaining piece of software. Combining graphics with music, the player is treated to a harmonious experience that makes Lumines such a unique game.

The game, even though a launch title, doesn't show much age. The graphics are quite simple like most puzzlers, but has a nice glossy coat on top to make it stand out compared to a game like Tetris. The music matches the flashy graphics, with songs that range from pop, techno, dance and more. There are many levels, and every level has its own music track and matching graphics, and there are many to unlock!

There are also many modes of play: single player, two-player (Ad-hoc), puzzle, etc. Puzzle Mode, while initially fun, gets a bit tedious down the line. For example, you are made to make blocks in the shape of a dog, but later on you will be asked to make two dogs, which doesn't really provide the player with a fresh experience, but playing just to get it over with.

+ Nice new puzzle game concept
+ Nice graphics and music
+ Many unique levels
+ Two-player Ad-hoc mode
+ Many things to unlock

CONS
- Puzzle Mode can get tedious
- No online play

Overall, this is a very good game, and if you love puzzle games like Tetris and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, you'll love Lumines!

Tetris who? That's what I said when I played this game. Too many people love Tetris, and I say that the people who call this a Tetris clone are stupid _________. This is absolutly no Tetris clone in any _______ way. Just because it has blocks dosen't mean it's a Tetris clone. That's complete bull_____. I would take this over Tetris anyday. It's more fast and fun that Tetris every wished it could be.

Forget about Tetris, this game owns the _____ out of that game anyday. The only Tetris that could ever compete with this is Tetris Attack. ANd that one will kick the ____ out of the first one. ALso check out Meteos if you have a DS.

If you have a PSP, what the _____ are you doing here? Get this game now.

(PS I like Tetris, I just think this game is about a million times better).

Lumines is just about the most perfect portable game ever created. It is totally fun, easy to pick up and play, and has great music!! What more could you want for a handheld gaming system?!?

My only gripe with the game is, that the only way to get more skins and music, is to play through the ENTIRE game, from first skin to last!! And that takes a lot of time, skill and patience..... other than that, this game is the bomb!!

I received a PSP as a gift one holiday season. I have purchased several games and I love this one the best. Solid game play, easy controls and some decent music. It isn't green day or T.I. but it is more than suitable for a video game.
