This is a great game because it combines comfortable controls, detailed graphics, eerie sound, and most of all it scares you. No other game makes one afraid of itself. The Resident Evil games does this while at the same time incorporates all those things which make for a decent "normal" game/

This is honestly one of the best games I have ever played. You are a S.T.A.R.S member trying to get to the bottom of a virus outbreak called the T-virus. Trying to kill you are different varieties of mutated enemies. Along the way you have to solve puzzles. The weapons are also great. Some of them include a shotgun, grenade launcher and a rocket launcher. There is a mutant chaseing you throughout the entire game and will literally make you jump out of your seat at some points in the game. The gameplay is also magnificent. It is pretty gory though so it is not for little kids. This is definitely a playstation title that must be owned. Its great!

First off, permit me to say that this game is definitely NOT for anyone who is either sqeamish about violence or younger than the audience intended by the "mature" rating. That out of the way, let me just say that this is an excellent game! It combines the suspense and "skin of your teeth" survival aspects of the first and second in the series with some interesting new twists. Shootable objects can take out crowds of zombies (which you'll meet quite a few of!) in one shot. Dodging and rolling and pushing enemies reduce the clunky feeling of "no escape" that the lack first and second often suffered from. Best of all (in my estimation) is the "random" feature the game incorporates. Health, ammo, or enemies that may have been there the first time you played through may be replaced by something else or nothing at all the second time you play, and the interaction between the characters and the cut scenes changes frequently based on decisions you make. "Live selection" junctures allow you to make critical decisions that ultimately affect how the game turns out. Lots of scares, lots of violence (as usual), plenty of new and old enemies and some other small but enjoyable additions such as mixing gun powder you find to make different kinds of bullets. Once you've won through once, there's a cool Mercanary mini game that could very well be a game all itself and lots of cool stuff to earn even after you've won it the first time, adding great replayability. My only criticism is that there isn't the same diversity of characters you play as on this as there was on Resident Evil 2 (only two in all on Nemesis, and one is only for a brief time). Also, it contains only a "Hard" and "Easy" mode, and when I first began, the Easy was wayyyyyyy to easy, but the hard felt impossible. Once you've gotten the feel for the changes and the minor differences in control though, it becomes a terrifying, enjoyable romp through Raccoon City that you can't tear away from until the climactic ending (or your untimely death!). Superb!

One of the best games ever made.

I thought the first game was great, and the second amazed me even more. Now this third installment, which is a prequel/sequel to part 2, has surpassed my expectations and continued the great Resident Evil legacy. I have cleared the game eight times, obtained all the secrets, and I still am not bored with it. Anyone who considers themselves a gamer should buy this game RIGHT AWAY.

Racoon City is more detailed more confusing and u don't stay in one freaking building! In fact most of the playing is in the city. This Nemesis stalks you the whole time and scares the heck out of you, this is my only suggestion RUN! The controls are good now with auto targeting. The good story is kept intact. The only downside is only one character. But then again who wants to play the same levels again with just a differant person? Instead of starting out with a pistol you get an assault rifle. The graphics are more detailed not blocky, and Jill is so dead sexy, compared to her blocky body in her RE1. This game is definatly scary. Also THEIR IS A HUGE VARITY OF ZOMBIES, not just like 5 differant ones like in RE2 where u meet the same zombie u almost never meet the same zombie which is fantastic. The split second decision in the game where you have two choices determines the game which is sweet. Plus you find gunpowders (A, B and C) like herbs u mix them and have a reload machine to pump out the ammo, whenever you see one pick it up u will need it. The acting IS SO MUCH BETTER I MEAN ITS NOT LAME ITS REAL EXCITING TO HEAR THEM TALK.

The best game Capcom has ever released!

Resident Evil 3 is out on the streets. So what are you waiting for? Go get it! If that was not enough convincing I'll give you some reasons why. It'll keep you entertained for hours with Jill running around shoot'n things. The gameplay is awsome and I like all the areas you can go to like Uptown, Downtown, and yes that wonderful old police station from everyones favorite Resident Evil 2. With the best enemy of all the games, the Nemesis will keep you scared during the whole game. The weapons are awsome and the two best are the Magnum and the Grenade Launcher that you can make freeze rounds for! The ammo mixing helps you a lot in the game, and you'll need it against the variety of zombies, the dogs, the birds, and some new guys. The graphics are some of the best and nothing else can compete in that category. The last thing that comes up is the awsome Mercenary Mode you get from beating the game. It is the best mini-game ever! Well that should be all the convincing you need to go get it! Get it now! Play it! "IS IT IN YOUR BLOOD?"

Resident Evil 3. The Nemisis

This game is actually the best Resident Evil game I have ever played. Now some people think it's a little odd that it's about a person who is at the wrong place at the wrong time. And that there would be a virus that can turn a human being into the living dead. Well it is all of that and so much more. Well it is about person named Jill Valentine who was trying to leave an old city called Raccoon City but there is a little problem. Zombies have infested the city.

Well when you start the game you are in immediate peril. But when you kill the zombies blocking your way you get to a room and meet a guy named Dario. Then you walk through the streets until you get to the Raccoon City Police Department. Then you meet the worst creature of all... The Nemisis. He will follow you through out the game.

After a while you leave the police station and its night out. You go around and you meet a guy named Carlos. Not soon after that you get attacked by the Nemisis again. You will meet a lot of people that are a part of Umbrellas Mercenary Crew.

Well this is just a taste of what you are in for. I have played and beaten this game several times and it is full of suprises and decisions that will change the game. Well I am not going to spoil it for you. It is a well-made game but the camera view is a little off. But you'll get used to it.

In Closing, I enjoyed this game a lot. You will too. Have fun with it. And after you beat it you will get a few suprises. Well Good Bye.

The seconed game I ever got was Resident evil 3 . It was so much
fun all I've been buying the last couple of weeks where part of the
Resident Evil series . In my opinion this was the best one made for
playstation 1 . I mainly enjoyed it because of 3 things . One I liked how in the begining at the first savepoint in your item box you could
chose from a shotgun, assault rifle, handgun, knife,or a magnum ! Two i liked how you where able to move around prety freely in the city unlike in the other Resident Evil games for PS1 . Three there are
alot more things to kill than in the other Resident Evil games for PS1 . This got me hooked on the Resident Evil games and movie . There
was only one thing missing which was you didn't get credit for killing to buy new wepons, tools, ammo,or first aid like in my favorite
game Dino Crisis 2 . This game is my seconed favorite game and I
think anyone with any sense would love it just as I did . So buy Resident Evil 3 Nemisis and you won't regret it .

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - Circa 2000

GOOD:
- Nemesis enemy adds a new twist to the game and makes it more intense
- Good story, with twists and turns
- Some nice bonus mini games to unlock

BAD:
- Graphics look pretty dated
- Voice acting is not that great
- Controls feel dated

WILL IT FIT YOUR TASTE:
- Slow moving "survival horror" game, which is more about moving boxes, managing items, and unlocking doors then actually fighting for your life
- A Sc-Fi horror game set in a city over run with zombies, and a super zombie called Nemesis

GAME ITS MOST ASSOCATED TOO:
- Resident Evil 2
- Dino Crisis 2
- Silent Hill
- Alone in the dark

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Half of this game takes places during the events of Resident Evil 2
- There is a remake of this game for the Nintendo Game Cube, which doesn't really upgrade anything
- The playable character (Jill) was also one of the playable characters in the first Resident Evil
- In Japan Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is called Biohazard: Last Escape
