This game is an absolute blast. With 18 different aircraft to choose from its hard to pass this game up. Plus, you get to land your plane on either a runway or even an aircraft carrier! The storyline is also top notch, and really belivable. The graphics don't get any better than this. This is the Gran Turismo of flight simulators.

This is my first PS2 game and I must say it is an excellent choice! I am stunned by the visual beauty of this game. The visuals are wonderful and definitely draw you deeply into the game. A sense of total immersion. I highly recommend this one. Controls work well, weapons are cool, sound quality is excellent, but the highlight is the mission playback from multiple angles! It looks so bloody real... See for yourself.

There are so many awesome things about this game. The graphics are unbelieveable, the point of views are great and the missions are challenging. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wing men in the game [are bad] and really don't help you. If you love fighter jets and flying games, this is the game for you.

The graphics are pretty cool,and control is excellent...the only thing that kept it from being a 5* game is the fact it's so short...the 18 missions were just not long enough,and i beat it in about 7hrs of total gameplay!

Ace Combat 4 is an awesome game. I've watched people playing Top Gun for Xbox and thought it was an awesome game, but it was lacking reality and graphics. Some people may want high action and Hollywood explosions more than realism; if your one of those people, I suggest that you find some other game such as Top Gun. But if you're like me and you want reality and stunning graphics; get Ace Combat 4. Ace Combat 4 offers realistic jets and weapons. Each jet is unique and handles a little differently. But what I like most about Ace Combat 4 is it's first person cockpit view. In the cockpit, you can look up,right,and left in the cockpit with the right joystick while executing a barrel roll or flip with the left joystick. Thats another great thing about this game. Programmers created the controls to make your life easier; not to make playing very difficult. All in all, this is one of my favorite games for PS2. It never gets boring!

Ace Combat 4 is by far the best Air Combat/Flight game I have played. Along with the outstanding graphics combined with the realism of flight simulation this game is an excellent choice. I have tested Top Gun Combat Zones and have not found any comparison to Ace Combat 4. In my opinion, this game is well worth the money and time.

This game is awesome! I'm a sucker for flight sims, but let me tell you! The graphics stun, the controls are very accurate. Its just a great game, and you can save at each level just to replay it for fun. This is a great game, and I'd reccomend it to buy, not rent! Buy this game, every PS2 owner owes it to himself.

I own this game. After you beat the missions it gets really boring. It is way to easy to beat. On the other hand it has good graphics from up high. The controls are easy and it has fun two player. I recommend this to the plane enthusiast.

This is a great game! It provides many hours of fun because there are many missions to play. This is also a great game if you just want to sit down and dogfight. It takes a little time to get used to the game play with the PS2 game pad, but once you figure it out, the game gets really fun. Flight simulator purists might not like the game as much because it doesn't fly like a real fighter, but it is very good if you just want to pick it up and play. Highly recommended.

The best of the best of all flying games.Its a lot better than Top Gun Combat Zones and Lethal Skies .You can pilot planes from all over the world!! Its a MUST get.
