I am a BIG roleplayer. i have played many games INCLUDING Asheron's Call and Ultima Online. I think that this game is a very well made game, the graphics are great, the control of lag is much better than Asheron's Call, and the plot is better. The probl with Asheron's Call is that you can be everything.. making it very hard to roleplay... In Everuqest there are 14 differemt calsses EACH with their ups and downs.. ranging from a kind Paladin to a bloodthirsty Shadowknight(the opposite of a Paladin). There are also many quests making gameplay more fun. There ar VERY few quests in Asherons Call. In Everquest there are different races you can be.. some good and some evil, personally, i like to play evil races, makes the game much more challenging. In Asheron's Call, theres only 3 types of "humans" and they're all pretty much the same. In Everquest you can battle some of the mighty gods in search to get better items. In Asheron's Call, when i died no one would help me, they didnt care for a person in need. In Everquest, there's always a person lending a hand to help someone. In conclusion, Everquest is a much better game than Asheron's Call, but it's up to you, choose wisely.

Since a young age, I have been an addict of video games. From Mario to Final Fantasy, I have seen them all. And coming out at the top is Everquest. This game is ONLY for people who desire never to see the light of day again. The interaction between people is amazing, and there is so much to explore, that days worth of play time is just the icing on the cake. Everquest is only for two kinds of people- those you hate and never want to see again, and those you love who you want to be given the best gift possible. Many complain about the lag, fees, BUT its no big deal. Once you enter Norrath, you'll never want to leave again.....

As good as the original

For those people who liked EverQuest, Kunark is as good as the original. The lizardman is a great addition. The graphics are excellent, and the land is massive, so there are a lot more areas to explore.

The only big problem I had with this expansion is the trouble that Verant/Sony had in distributing copies of the expansion to people who owned the original. It did not get out when expected. However, Verant/Sony provided quick and adequate restitution.

Be careful, people. I resisted the temptation that is EverQuest until a friend let me play on his computer. I went home that night and immediately ordered the game from Amazon. I eagerly awaited its' arrival, then tore open the package and installed it right away. I haven't stopped playing since. The game is exciting, challenging, and great fun. But if you're anything like me, please set an alarm so you don't play for too long.

I dont know why ppl are upset with this game. It's not the game that has ppl upset its the customer service or thier veiw of it. Sure they are having a few problems with some customer service issues, but they are dealing with them. Ive played this game over a year now and although i dont have a character over lvl 10 yet its because i have several characters on several servers that I am tring to keep up with. The point of this game is not really just killing this monster or that monster its getting to know new ppl and making friends and having fun with them. Those that are getting banned on the message board or from the game are banned because they could not keep to the agreement and keep foul language out of the experiance.

I have never been a lover of computer games. Even computers for that matter, however after watching a friend play and not hearing from him for days on end, I began to wonder what the big deal was. I created a character a little over a year ago and soon after bought the game. This is that best game I have ever played. But bewarned! This game is highly addictive. I would recomend this game to people of all ages. It is more than graphics and cool sounds, it is a whole world of it's own, where all your fantisies of dragons and wizzards come true. You develop relationships and friendships with other players. You join guilds and raid castles. Give it a try!

Everquest is one of the best rpg multiplayer games i have ever seen the only problem i have with it is that it can get very confusing to a first time player and the game is kinda difficult to understand, other than that i think its a great game. buy this if you know that you'll think you can understand it and put lots of time into it.

This is the most addictive game ever. The graphics are wonderful, there are so many things do do and places to go in this game. My friends and I have lost so much sleep while playing this game, because you CANT STOP. However you need to pay a 10$ monthy fee with your credit card if you want to play. But, nonetheless this game is a MUST BUY.

This game is terrible. The only oohs and ahhs are its graphics which are less than spectacular. There seems to be little interactions or quests or anything beyond killing monsters. I was rather bored with it in notime. ...

If you like fantasy role-playing games than i recommend Everquest for you. It has everything a gamer wants. Action, weapons, adventure, and most of all FUN. Now Everquest might be a really fun game, but what takes some of the fun out is the fact that you can get robbed of all of your hard worked money and items. If someone kills you, then they deserve to get your possesions, but when you die by starving and you can't find your body to get your items, you're pretty much...... But, if you're good enough, in time you will regain everything all over again. And that feels good.
