in ever quest the ruins of Kunark you can chose a character you may chose a human, troll, dwarf, dark elf,elf and more. You can kill creatures like orcs, bears, bats, drones, and many many more you may travel through diffrent places like Kelethin, Bucherblock, west commons, east commons and so on. The more ex you get you raise your self a lvl. You can also start many characters. on each server you can make about 10 characters there are alot of servers so you can possibly create more than 60 characters. Some people play everquest for fun but some people want to reach the 60th lvl. Since this game is on the internet you can meet more people and make a group. Once you buy it you will know alot about it.

One of the first graphic RPGs of its kind, EverQuest remains the king. Constantly changing and updating, EQ's community and involved gameplay is mind-warping. I myself was not a huge gamer before my friend told me to try it out less than a year ago.

If you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons or similar, or have ever wanted to see what the big deal is, you need to try EverQuest.

Ruins of Kunark is the best upgrade so far. This winter, stay tuned for Shadows of Luclin that will take EQ to the next level graphically.

Everquest isn't everything but it's right up there with oxgn

Everquest is the best game there is, no question about it. I have only had this game for about three months, but I think that it is better then all those other games (ie, starcraft, red alert, Asheron's Call). With over 375,000 subscribed users, two expansions (Scars of Velious and Ruins of Khunark), and a third one (Shadows of Lucin) coming out, Everquest is always growing. Usually on a busy night (Friday or Saturday night) there are 90,000 players on at once playing on 30 (or 40) different servers. The most appealing aspect of this game is the ability to interact with ther players form around the globe. Usually when you play a game, you are sitting there playing by yourself against the computer. In Everquest, if you want to have to a fun time, it is always in your best interest to find other players to play with. When I first bought this game, I didn't think it was that good. Why? Because the world of Everquest is HUGE! It can take like 10 hours to trek from one side of the world the the other without stopping. After a while, you can really get into this game.

Kaioshin ... 13th season (and darn proud of it) Long Live Brell Serilis!!!!!!!

BUY IT NOW

This game has got to be the best ever made. The new expansion adding a lizard like Iksar, and the all new continent, Kunark, just makes it better. When I got this game for my birthday I thought that it would be good, but not too good. I was totally wrong. Not only is this game fun, but also VERY adictive....Want to lose all your free time? BUY IT! The graphics are not bad. Could be a little bit better, but the the gameplay is better than Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and GoldenEye combined! Only real bad thing is that you have to pay a $10 a month fee, which really isn't too bad. Trust me if you like fantasy and role playing games, this is the BEST ever made. And, if you dont like it....go see a doctor. There's something wrong with you head.

Just Fantastic!!!!!

My Daughter begged for months for me to let her have this and I was very nervious about a roleplay game on line. I didnt want her to get to involved with it and for get the rest of the would. We got it for her and started watching her play it. You get the first month free for hooking up. The more I watched the more I got interested in what she was doing. So She helped me start a char on her account. You can have up to 8 char per Server and there are a bunch of servers you can hook up with so hence you could have unlimited char if you choose. Now mind you im not a young kid Im a 43 year old mom. From the first time i went out in the snow at everfrost i was addicted, Its a challange and makes you think all the time. Its up to you what you want your char to hunt or if you want to do a quest ( i have done a few now) or if you want to start a trade. You can group with people (recomeneded in some areas of hunting when you are lower). The graphics are just fantastic real sun sets and sun rises. There are deserts and swamp lands forests and dark lands. The creatures all look as they should ie lions look like lions and so on. There are fantasy creatures and then there are the very strange creatures like flying dragons and a thing that looks like a chicken that was from a bad experiment. As you move threw the different Zones there will be new challanges to meet. As you live in your city you will level up as you hunt animals or creatures. you will have to move on to new lands. You can be be ported and bound by enchanters or wizards. Each Class gets many many spells to learn how to use. I you dont want to be a caster you can be a warrior. We need tanks during grouping. The interaction with out game players is totaly fantastic. Its like you are there togeather and they can be half way around the world from you. Oh ya back to my daughter she had very bad typing abilty and spelling before everquest now she types faster than me and her spelling has improved greatly. and that had nothing to do wiht school. It teaches corroperation wiht others and kindness to others also. The rules of everquest are very good. and upheld. I would give this game a higher rateing than 5 if they had it. There is so much to this game, and may ways to go with it. I could go on for ever with the praise of this game. But you will have to find out for your self. Good luck, besafe. (Tantiana half elf druid, Taradana barbarian shaman, Tyhanna human enchanter)

The Kunark expansion nearly doubled EQ's world and extended the longevity of the game immeasurably. Make sure you get this if you are going to play EQ.

The BEST game i've ever owned

When my brother first showed me and thought me how to pay the game i was amazed in it. Then as soon as i got it i loaded it and got right on. Didn't even take long :) Now when i log on i am on it for AT LEAST 16 hours a day. Even though there is a monthly fee (...) ITS WORTH IT :) If i were you i would buy it in a heart beat!! :)

Waste of time

They call this a MMORPG but the fact is there is zero RPG involved. Even on the RPG server nobody does. If you want to kill monsters, the same monsters, for 50+ levels then get this. If you want RPG though don't touch it with a barge pole.

3D Roleplaying very similar to AD&D

I started playing Everquest only weeks after I finished with Ultima:Online. Not bad I thought but nothing special. That was the first day. After a week I had discovered the true fun of the game. FIrst off the world is absolutley huge. I have been playing for over two months and have just managed to explore one continent (thats about 1/5 of the world and getting bigger), but only covered it, there is so much more to see and do just on that continent. The many different combinations of race, class, starting location and even your god that you worship can influence your character. The people you meet will all help you achieve your goal with their own unique skills and abilities. For example a simple Wizard could not hope to take on some of the tougher creatures of the land alone, but grouping with a fighter for example allows them both to work together doing what they do best, the fighter fights while the wizard stays out of damage and aids the warrior. The grouping system is focused on mainly but if you don't have any friends playing EQ (but you will find them) you can still solo easily. It is fun to play with or without friends and there is just so much to see and do and try out you will more than likely be playing posibly a year before you can say you have seen and done it all and with new expansions coming out all the time you may never stop.
