Correcction

Sorry but I have to post this to defend myself after the lie spread by someone else here. I did not swear when Verant suspended my account, they just plain didn't like what I said, and thats the truth.

They will ban you for whatever they please.

I also see that she said her highest character is level 10... well Mine is level 44. So I do know what I'm talking about. This game is a total waste of time, literally.

PS: The higher the level you get in this game, the worse it gets. I will never buy a Verant created game again.

Good game

Ok, I bought it and I love it. I have never had logging in problems and my machne runs the game flawlessly. He graphics are beautiful. All in all this is probably the best game I've played in a long time.

For all you guys who keep saying Asheron's Call is better, you consistantly point out that EQ is slow or has bad graphics. The only thing I can concieve of to explain sucha descrepancy is our machines. EQ is a high-end game and demands alot of power from a PC, but it is well worth it. Give it a try.

EQ Great Game

I have been playing EQ for quite a while and have had a great time. My suggestion to new players just starting is stay away from the "care bear" servers and go Player vs. Player. It adds a whole new dimension to the game and they are much less crowded. You won't have the lag problems you get with the other servers and to be part of a guild actually means something in the PvP world. Everyone talks about camping well there is "camping" in just about every massively multi-player game I have played in. Sure it would be nice to have your own guild house like in UO or be able to ride a horse, but for the 1st Massively multi-player 1st person game out there I would say it is pretty good. For those who have got tired of it in a relatively short time probably played on a daily basis much more than I ever do...everything in moderation.

Everquest: ruins of kunark

Everquest: The ruins of kunark is an action packed massivly online game for all types of gamers. if you liked ultima then you'll like Everquest. The good stuff about this game is that you can have your thirst for graphics unleashed and filled up with the Awesome graphics. if you think your getting a bit tired of ultima 1, 2, or 3 try this.... and still if your getting tired of the futuristic actions like halflife, or Daikatana play this one, to get a taste of some magic and old old times. This game has still alot of action, alot of questing, and alot of playing! The reason i gave this 4 stars, is that it focuses too much on graphics, 50% of the time they have to be fixing the game when i try to get on, if they had worried more about the game in the future other than the graphics(trying to probably boost technology with some graphics... reaaally good graphics) the game would be no dout a 5 star and would have earned it. so basicly this game is really good and you should play it whenever you can!

I've heard people say it's addicting and boring. Well, I play about 2 to 3 hours every week. I'm not addicted, I enjoy it however I'm still low level. I'm just saying that if you let it addict you it will, if you don't, it won't. What's all this talk about too expensive? I have a great system. My brother and I split the money to pay because we both play. However, you can get addicted if you let it. My brother is addicted, just don't let it happen to you! I love this game but I don't let it take over me. This is a great game because it isn't boring if your a spellcaster in my opinion. If you're considering buying this game, think about yourself. If you're playing with someone else, the price won't be bad, solo however it will be. Low levels have fun however. I'm having a blast with my level 3! It's you who makes the decision. Just go out and have some fun. Oh, by the way, it doesn't take away your social life if you let it.

The best game for friends and just fun

I actually don't own Everquest but I will hopefully get it soon. My best friend owns everquest and we play it a lot, not enough to the point where we go insane and see everthing as a link to everquest. Personally I think that anyone who has ever wanted to play through a huge world of magic set in the future should play this game, and I have no clue what they mean by [price] a month is a con, I make a lot of money from my various jobs. It would be a breeze to pay. And I could still upgrade my skateboard. My parents still don't like the idea of paying and they keep making up excuses because I played D&D for 10 hours straight and had some kind of hangover and my speech was slurred. If your parents won't let you get the game, you should make a deal like you will become they 're slave for a while if they buy the game and you pay for the monthly thing. also if your friends play you can hook up and have fun, I have a heck of a lot of friends who play and some are in highschool or college. I am sorry that my review doesn't flow or anything but I am in a hurry.

I love this game!

Sure, sure, so you say, "Oh, no, I have to pay money every month to play, blah, blah." Who really cares? This game, is like so cool and I am definatly not a computer person. Sure, a lot of people can get kinda addicted. Oh, well, I didn't really. It's kind of like a 'world' and you kill things and move up levels and make new friends. So, as I said, I am NOT a computer person, but I'm giving it 5 stars! But, please buy it and I promise you'll have the best time! :)

Poor Customer Service and Waste of time

I have found that this game becomes a waste of time and very bid source of frustration. servers have been down just about everyday and they still have yet to fix some of the origanal problems in the Everquest but insist on releasing an expansion just to cause more problems. Thanks

Wow, this game is really fun

Wow, this game is really fun, what else can i say except buy this game, it has pretty good graphics, lots of fun, and many different people to meet. If you don't have much free time, don't buy this game, it will get you hooked and make time for itself, you will not get your work done and it will be come a priority in your everday life! hehe, well maybe its not that bad, but it is very very very very addictive
