I dont like paying 10 dollars a mounth for a game, but once you start playing it you get addicted. As what i read from revews on this game it will probably be even more addictive than ever. So just dont buy it. You could buy a lot more cool games whith the money. Like get games that you have big guns with free multi player you can enjoy them without haveing to pay 10 dollars a mounth. Pluse there are a bunch of new multi player games coming out that are going to be a lot funnier than EQ.

If you plan on buying this new expansion to the Everquest saga then read on my friend. Read on.

I have heard many people say this game should be called "Evercrack." Let me tell you... IT IS!!! If you want a life or plan on staying involved in a serious relationship outside your online gaming life DON'T BUY THIS GAME.

The original game was and is highly addictive. I can not imagine just how much more imersive the new game will be. And I mean "new" game.

Although the concept is the same. Venture through many lands that can take upwards of hours to walk to in real life time. Fight a ton of differnt monsters. Go on epic quests to "save the world". And even strike fear into the hearts of the gods. The new graphics engine will make the game that much more intense.

I've seen the new screenshots. I've seen the game engine in action. And being an addict all I can say is, "Super killer sweet!" The new graphics are great! And as Verant's ever lasting drive to perfect this neverending world continues I can only imagine how much better it will be even after this expansion comes out.

So like I said. Don't buy this game if you have never played EQ. Don't think twice about clicking the "back" button on your browser in moving slowly away from your computer. Because this is one seriously addictive game.

But for those addicts out there... I know your pain my brothers and sisters. I know your pain.

Although I obviously do not have this expansion set yet, I have been playing EQ since november of 1999. It is a very addictive but exspensive game. This game owns your life. When I stopped playing I had so much more fun with my life. I went out with my friends just about everyday when I quit this game. I saved a lot of money to. The game itself really isnt that fun when you break it down. What do you do? Sit in one spot waiting for a certain monster to pop up, sometimes for hours and even then it doesnt show up. Then if you are lucky and you spot the critter, you need to be even luckier in order to get some rare item off it. After all this waiting what do you do? You either sell it or keep it, and repeat this painstakig process.

I would recommend this game to anyone, at first you might wonder whats going on especially in the tutorial, but once you start playing online and interacting with real players its very very addictive, the thing i enjoy the most about E.Q is the fact that in a normal game the responses of the characters is set and is always the same , not so with E.Q interaction with other players is really important for quests and fighting larger monsters this is great for making friends, I have made so many friends who have helped me in the game, and now im helping others thats half the fun not just hacking and slashing. if you get this game you will play forever and ever!

I've seen a lot of screenshots of this game floating around, and the only word to describe it is WOW. I can't wait for this release, it's going to be awesome. If you like RPGs and haven't tried MMORPGs, you'll love EQ. If you already love EQ, you HAVE to get this.

Ok, for those that think that having to pay for a game to play online is completely bogus you are wrong. Try this game and trust me when I say it is the best roleplaying game out there. I stand behind the EQ team for there work and efforts, it has payed off. This game is addictive, but hey you'll love it a guarantee that. Hope to see you soon in the world of EQ!

Like it did nearly 2 and half years ago, Sony and Verant will blow away the competition with this new expansion. It has been dubbed Everquest 1.5 by many of the staff because it is a huge stepping stone between the original EQ and EQ2. It uses the newest graphics engines in a marriage with the most advanced gaming systems ever developed. This is definitely going on the wishlists of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, and I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being the number one selling computer game of the 4th quarter if not the year!

Buy this game if your system can handle it, if it can't maybe you should put two things down on your holiday wishlist.

This review above me makes no sense.. he has never played the game.. or the first expansion.. or the second expansion.. and yet is writing a review for the 3rd expainsion that hasnt even been released.

Take it from a REAL PLAYER. this game is fun, exciting and well worth the money I Spend. If this one is as good as the last 2 I am hooked for another 2 years.

Everquest is a RPG that brings together people from all around the world to play in an awesome environment that continues to expand into new worlds. With quests, epic encounters, ally's and awesome weapons it creates a game with few limits.

Shadows of Luclin looks to be an amazing addition to this game and I intend to buy it right when it comes out. Everquest is very addictive and insane fun. I recommend it to anyone who has the time to be able to spend building up a character.

I highly agree that there will be better games coming out, Neverwinter Nights is going to awesome beyond belief, but with all those other games you are forgetting one thing. EverQuest is run on highly-advanced servers that make for no lag, my ping stays under 150 all the time. With the other games you have to worry that you will lag out because the other people are so slow... All in all, the game is well worth the [money].
