I dont like paying 10 dollars a mounth for a game, but once you start playing it you get addicted. As what i read from revews on this game it will probably be even more addictive than ever. So just dont buy it. You could buy a lot more cool games whith the money. Like get games that you have big guns with free multi player you can enjoy them without haveing to pay 10 dollars a mounth. Pluse there are a bunch of new multi player games coming out that are going to be a lot funnier than EQ.

Well here goes . 1st of all this is the best on line game I have ever played and I have played alot (Diablo 1 & 2,, and all the half life games just as an example)..They do not even compare to the never ending game play and story line that EQ has to offer. Along with all the Quests and epics to do, You will also meet great people to play with , Most are great...I love the game for the fact that most of the people that play seem to be adults...

And as for the per month [charge]it is well worth it ( how many of you gamers out there have played an online game only after playing for a while find out it gets boring or always have the same ending and same monsters and so on > Well not in EQ always different.. and how many have been playing only to be killed or unable to kill another because of hacks and cheat programs .. I know i have Diablos are great for that as is HALFLIFE. What is the point of having a game to play if you can turn on god mode and never die or can kill others in one swift swing.. EQ will not allow that on there site and if they find it and you have it on your PC hehehe Guess what( that account is disabled FOR LIFE. ) and along with that is the clean language that players use EQ does not allow all that stupid talk... it is possilbe to have your account band for that .. SO, over all this game is good clean uncheatable Fun.. that will last for a long time

I am one of the lucky few whos wife also loves the game we have 2 PCs and 2 accounts and play alot together and are even in the same guild,, this form of fun keeps us playing and enjoying the long Wisconsin winters together.. With all that said i am sure that the new exp. will be even better than the last DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YOIU HAVE A REAL LIFE AND A WIFE THAT WILL NOT PLAY... or you will be playing in a small apt. some were with nothing but a PC and some ordered pizza.... thanks for letting right this ..

Playing Ever Quest is like making a deal with the devil. The game is REALY FUN, and there is the danger. The game is so fun and highly addictive. Nicotine, cocaine, marujana, alcohol, gambeling, and country music don't even hold a candle to the addictive propertys of what has been deamed "Evercrack, Eversmak, and Evercoke" just to name a few. My advice to you all is to buy the game and make your loved ones that after two hours of play to pull you away from the keyboard, NO MATTER WHAT THE COST

AND GOOD HUNTING TO YOU ALL!

Well, I really like Everquest as it is and when Kunark came out it was one giant laggy mess because of all the clipping plane problems. Im not saying Luclin is going to be like thi but i have a pretty good feeling that it might happen. Im sure it will be unplayable for the first couple of days like Kunark was but im sure Verant will find a way to make it better.

P.s. Dont nerf any of the items that are going to come out!

It is cool how there will be a new class, race, town, etc. However, it, besides that and the visual changes, seems a lot like Kunark and Velious. Adding a new contient, only this time it is a moon. Also the new character models are nice, however, trolls and ogres look a litle too human now. This is also supposed to reduce lag. However, I can't give it 5 stars cuz I don't exactly know how the game is actually going to be like, but it looks good =)

OK first and foremost EQ, like anything, can be addictive depending upon the person. I spend about an hour a day on it and have had the game for a year and half. The point that most people miss playing this game is not just "getting stuff" but the interaction with other different players from all over. Thats why I have continued to enjoy this game because of all the interesting characters I meet, which is really what brings this game to life.

This Update looks amazing....

I have played the normal version of this, with its great 3d graphics...but I have been looking at pictures of this update, and it looks amazing, we're talking major graphics updates. Even more 3d characters, spells are amazing, and a new race and class. I'm not realy under 13, but i dont want one of their passwords, but take my word for it, if you have time to blow in the week and weekends, and love RPG's, this game is the game for you!

P.S. The contrals take a little getting use to, but just keep it up, it becomes easy, sorta subcontiouse reactions.

If you can seperate relality from fanasty and do not have and adicitve personality this game can provide hours of entertainment and fun. I play maybe 8 hours a week with my real life friends and have a good time but, i do not let get in the way of my life.

DO NOT start this game until you decide if you can handle it. The key to playing this game is DO NOT MAKE ONLINE friends. Join guilds have fun but do not move into personal friendship with the people on this game. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS. You DO NOT KNOW them. Please treat them like you'd treat a stranger polietly but carefully.
