I find it funny how so many people can rate this expansion and it hasn't even been released yet. Here it is 6 months away and people are writing reviews on it giving it 5 stars.

Everquest is the biggest waste of time you could spend on any game. Literally... you will be sitting doing nothing 90% of the time. Not to mention that Verant has the worst customer service/support of any game company I have ever come across.

Whatever happened to the good business saying of "the customer is always right"... Well in Verants opinion "the customer is always wrong".

Dont... do... dont... buy it

This game is really really fun and addicting. It also can ruin your life. I am a 15 year old gamer, and I got this game 5 months ago. I have a lvl 34 character and it took me 12 continues days of game play! My mom gives me 2 hours a day to play cause im so addicted... so I get up late at night to play!!! Dont let your children get this game. It will ruin there live... and i hope to get out of this game as well, but of course im getting the expansion! Mothers and Fathers out there, dont let you kid get this! My social status has gone way down, ive lost friends, and I dont get much sleep! I warn u once again, dont let your kid get this unless you want him/her to be a nerd for the rest of there life! This is serious stuff. Your waisting you life.

When u look back on you life when your an adult, what can u tell anyone about that u did when u were a kid? "Ahh... I played video games, doy". U dont want to be like this... or your life like this. I may be playing this till im 25! it seems so awsome! Now I almost want a new computer more than a new dirtbike! Its really sad. Dont let this happen to you

its worth the 10 bucks a month

Ok, for those that think that having to pay for a game to play online is completely bogus you are wrong. Try this game and trust me when I say it is the best roleplaying game out there. I stand behind the EQ team for there work and efforts, it has payed off. This game is addictive, but hey you'll love it a guarantee that. Hope to see you soon in the world of EQ!

I would recommend this game to anyone, at first you might wonder whats going on especially in the tutorial, but once you start playing online and interacting with real players its very very addictive, the thing i enjoy the most about E.Q is the fact that in a normal game the responses of the characters is set and is always the same , not so with E.Q interaction with other players is really important for quests and fighting larger monsters this is great for making friends, I have made so many friends who have helped me in the game, and now im helping others thats half the fun not just hacking and slashing. if you get this game you will play forever and ever!

I've seen a lot of screenshots of this game floating around, and the only word to describe it is WOW. I can't wait for this release, it's going to be awesome. If you like RPGs and haven't tried MMORPGs, you'll love EQ. If you already love EQ, you HAVE to get this.

a gamer from a place is full of it

I have played EQ since it came out in March of 1999. Apparently gamer from a place you have no clue how to make friends in this game, never helped a single soul, and never joined a guild. I have been in several guilds, done several raids, and helped countless people. The game is not just sitting on your backside waiting on something to spawn, its about interacting with people you never normally would have met. I have met so many people over this game that have become my real life friends that I cant even count them all. I have also found that this game gives me a way to vent my anger and stress from real life. There are so many things about this game that I just cant write them all down in one sitting. I enjoy it so much. If you want THIS gamers opinion this is a game you will enjoy for many years, whether you are a constant gamer or someone who is just starting out on video games. Its not hard to learn how to play the game, and there are always those people who will help you out in the game. Just watch what you say, there are those people who will report you for foul language or vulgar behavior. Remember Kids play this game too. Have fun all!

If you sit there and play the game day in and day out, then yeah, it is addicting. Thats not 'EQ's fault you can't regulatre yourself. If you can't restrict yourself to so many hours a week, or something, or can't prioritize things above the game, then don't play it. I think it is a fun game, it's definetly a different type of game, you have to make a schedule some days for quests, or spawns and stuff, but, thats up to you to set the days you want to play, and days to 'LIVE'.

I think the new expansion should be worth buying though.

Wait until bugs are ironed out!!!

This latest expansion to EQ is nothing but trouble. Go check out the Everquest message boards (...)

The game has been down for two days now awaiting fixes for this newest expansion. Not to mention in order to SEE any of this expansion Sony suggests you have 512MB RAM and a 64MB Video card, but only a select few video cards will work!

Customer service is non-existant, spend your money on something else.

It's an awesome game!

This game is best played when you're bored or need a break from real life and want a fantasy adventure, that's what it's for. Not everyone becomes so involved that we lose sight of what real and what's fiction. Hours of fun are in store, when you play this game, as with many RPGs, this one just has spectacular graphics.
