Alright, i had pretty good expectations for this game being somewhat related to golden eye, a great game, but just the crappy single player was just the start of my problem. I read about this game and heard the story, but there is more story in the mini one sentence reviews then in this ENTIRE GAME! First of all it is HARD not because of challenges but merely the lack of life. The guns suck, unrealistic, weak, no cool reload animations, and the bots are stupid. They may be accurate and with a lot of life and take a lot of work to kill but they are STUPID! they get stuck in corners, shot wildly until they see you and then kill you in one hit. the AI is terrible. The biggest problem is lack of cheats, this game would be a MILLION times better with cheats, not because i'm a cheating loser, just because the single player is SO DAMB TERRIBLE that it's not even WORTH looking at! And the only way to unlock some of the halfway decent new guns and levels is to beat the missions which takes time, energy and absolutly BORING effort. Games like SSX with challenge that requires intelligence and exploring to find cool shortcuts, now that's challenge with a brain, Timesplitters is none of that... And finally, the one great thing about this game earning it 2 stars instead of 1 is the mapmaker! it is DAMB cool! This game should be a mapmaker for the PS2 with a minigame attached to it. Too bad that minigame sux. PerfectDark is LEAGUES over this one. Screw the speed, Screw that graphics, we're talking gameplay and FUN here...

although i have not played yet i think i should buy on the 26,oo .this game is so cool my friends at the wherehouse have aloud me to take a look at it and watch them play for a while.if you have played a game like tribes then you know what im talking about.you must buy this game.I KNOW I WILL!!!!!

Ok, i havent played this game (PS2 is a month away), but i now so much about it, i thought id share a little. This game has many multiplayer modes (capture the bag, deathmatch, co-operative, escort, assasin, knockout, target practice, flag tag, and reverse flag tag). there sre over 50 multiplayer characters, and the game comes w/ a VERY simple map editor for multiplayer. there is also a single player mode w/ 9 levels. there are 9 levels for multiplayer too, but you can make ur own levels w/ the level editor, and u can unlock all the single-player levels to play. it supports multitap for 4 players and its gonna be GRRRRREEEEEEAAAATTTT!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is really bad. I was totally dissapointed with this game. I was thinking that it would be a great game because it is played on a PS2 console but this game is terrible. The graphics are bland and the story mode is terrible. I got bored of this game in 5 minutes. The music is really annoying. The game is just really boring. If you want a first-person shooter buy Unreal Tournament, don't waste your time with this game. This game was, in my opinion, thrown together too quickly just to make the first day rush. If you were planning to buy this game i would highly not recommend this game.

Okay, I wouldn't rate this game as a must-have. Sure its fun and fast, but the one player is rather lame. It also sucks how you have to unlock all the good multiplayer modes so you can't play good ones on the go.

I bought this game right after I recieved my PS2 because it looked fun. I'm into futuristic stuff, and that's what I was getting from the front of it. However, it is not futuristic other than the fact that there are a couple of characters that are from the future. I hated the game. The controls are extremely hard to master (though it can be done, and I'm sure they can be changed), and you have to spin a lot. It sounds stupid, but it can get you extremely "motion" sick and queasy feeling. I took it to a video game place to trade it in, and the guy ended up only giving me about $25 for a barely used game because so many people had traded theirs in.

I definitely wouldn't suggest this game.

time splitters wasnt as good as time splitters 2. i mean this one doesnt have any game experince. the second one was really good this one just stunk. every thing in this game isnt good. the levels look stupid and so do the people you control. all the people in the second one looked much better. theres not even a story or any thing. dont buy this game just skip this and go to time splitters 2. if you want to see what its like rent it first.

This game is cool!!! U can play with 4 players...but the characters names... let's just say they're not so wiggity wiggity whacked, ok? That means cool, sensible. This game is cool... I'm plannin on getting Time Splitters 2 for Christmas!!! If you're lookin at this game...buy it fool!!!!!!! It is really cool!!!

Is this PS2 graphics or just taken from the original PS? The graphics are for the most part dated and very weak looking and the game is only semi-fun if you play the multiplayer death matches. Personaly I prefer Unreal Tournament for PS2. If you want to buy this game at least rent it first, or if not, it's your funeral.

Time Splinters is great GVG it has it all you can also play with your freinds online or just play the quest it has the best mini games besides Wario ware, You can play a mini game with up to 10 Bots it is a great game. But graphics suck ass. And online play is dead there is only like 15 people on it anymore. The online play is dead because everyone is playing the new version like Tim Spliners 2 or Time Splinter Future perfect, this game is the start of a huge franchis and its only 9.99 at most game stores because it is a ornginal game for Playstation 2. i Give 5 stars u bitches
