Think of the excitement you felt when you first played Mortal Kombat for the Super Nintendo or the Sega Genesis. Multiply that by a million and that's what you'll get when you play this game! I can't explain it in my own words so I'll steal a line from the most electrifying man in sports entertainment...

"FINALLY, THE DARKNESS HAS COME BACK, TO MORTAL KOMBAT"

BUY IT, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Man, this game is the bomb. It has most of the same characters as the last ones, and also some new characters. In this game, you can take a journey with all the characters and earn koins. Then after you earn your koins, you can go to the Krypt and buy stuff like characters and sketches and all thos other stuff. But you dont know whats in em and some of the koffins are empty which is no good. Im sayin that you should get this game and if you do, you will not be able to stop playin.

Mortal Kombat is BAAACK, All the other games are FINISHED!!

No other fighting game out there can beat Mortal Kombat. They can't even try. MK is back again with the Deadly Alliance of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. This game is not for kids everyone. The only thing I don't like is that every character has only one Finishing move. They need to bring back Multiple fatalites. But it makes up for it with different Fighting styles, graphics, the combos, extra charaters, and gameplay. This IS A MUST HAVE FOR YOU MK fans. Go get it....

Best to wait for MK6

At least that one may be a complete game. The graphics are great and the fighting average. As a Mortal Kombat game it truly disappoints. Many things that were to be included were suddenly left out due to "time constraints". The game itself has clues to many of these items, which is really annoying considering they are no longer present. Wait for MK6 and avoid the feeling of being cheated into buying an unfinished product.

Glad I rent it first.

This has to be the biggest disappointment ever in the game making history. apparently, people in midway want to get into the 3-D mode...but don't have any original ideas. bloody track the flood? try VF4 with sand and snow...fighting style, VF4 and TK serise. changing style in the middle, try TK. weapons, soulcalibur, and talking about the weapons, you don't have a katana sword with length of a man. also, you don't carry a katana sword like a middle age broadsword which weights like 100 pounds. and the game play, it is still mostly linear, well... at least you can dodge the fire balls now...

My advice... rent it first... if you still like it...go ahead... but I wish I had spend my 6 bucks rental on something else...

Ive done a lot of homework for this game. I finnaly got it for my birthday and let me tell you. Ive been with Mortal Kombat since the very begining. Ive played every one of them except MK Trilogy. Deadly Alliance is by far the best damn fighting game on the market right now. Some may think they can compare this game to VF4 or Tekken 4, but just think about it. MKDA contains the ever so lovely FATALITIES, twenty something characters including my second favorite, Cyrax. There are even more unlockable stages than characters I believe, and the KRYPT opens the door for extended gameplay.
Each Character has three stances with about twenty moves a stance, plus special moves. Some say the CPU is difficult to beat. But is that a bad thing? Who wants a game you can rush right through in 5 minutes. It took me around 35 minutes to beat the game the first time. And one great thing is that the makers brought back TEST YOUR MIGHT and added TEST YOUR SIGHT.
Overall, this game is great. I give it 5/5 stars.

MORTAL KOMBAT FOREVER

Gore and Fun

The MK Deadly Alliance game was fun with a lot of gore. The gore is a little bit much but well needed from all the sissy fighting games out now. It is the best one on one fighting game out right now. Tekken 4 is no contest to MK. Mk is the best fighting game ever ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!
:)

MKDA

MKDA is well worth the price, but a few little things could make it one of the best fighting games ever. The in game graphics are good, the characters flow pretty well and I've only notice a few instances where they are choppy. The movies are good but could use a little bit of work.

Game play is good but I would suggest Konquest for starters. This walk's you through the diffrent styles of the fighters and help you learn there basic and more advance moves.

There is a tone of replay value. If you like me and have to find every character, every costume and see every character's ending you will be busy for a while.

Down sides, I'm an OG MK fan. I really do miss the "toasty" pop in's, board fatalites and all the other things that you've come to love with the MK series.

With the new game engine in place hopfully we will see another title in the MK line. And hopfully they will have added all the little things that made MK1&2 great games.

A Very Fun Game

This is one of the best fighting games ever made. It is by far the the bestMortal Combat Game. With different fighting styles to switch back and forth from throughtout the fight makes it realy fun. Having a realy cool trainng mode (KonQuest) makes it possible to learn the moves. It has a lot of the old characters to choose from as well as new ones such as, Frost (My favorite), Mavado, Kinta, Li Mei, Moloch, and many more. I first played the game at my friends house and imediatly got hooked. The game also has two mini games that are a good way to ear koins.
