Little, small people... I have finally come to play this game. I have over 15 MMORPGS at my house. And may I say, I probubly own everyone here at all of them :) But this is off the topic. This is an awsome game! most defenitly better then WoW. Just to let the people who rated this game here badly; this games is the second most popular MMORPG in the world. Guess the first... Thats right Lineage 1 was number one. Here I go with the up points and down points of this game. First of all the seans are beautiful! never ending, perfectly shaped outins in this game give it a great look. But most gamers look for a bloody game with a ton of violence! Id also like to say this has most of it. The violence/fighting seans are great but this game does lack the blood meter, if that is good or bad is your own oppinion. Gameplay is fun with alot of people from the community who are willing to give you help on the game. Even needing to walk from place to place maybe taking up to 30 min. is fun! Passing by users who always say "hellow" and looking at the graphics and wildlife. Also a destinct feature that makes this bost a star is its real life prospective on some/most subjects. If your not understanding that read this... You can buy a pet in the game. Dogs, hog-like creatures, and even dragons, that can help you fight in wars. The real life thing is that the beast costs alot and needs to be treated correctly, like owning a pet in real life. You must pay alot of money to feed your pet and show alot of responsibility. This means to not fly or attack with it to much, which could cause it its death. Much more great game moments i would love to share with you but I think you get the point. I only found one thing wrong with this game. That is its character making. I dislike this because the character look is limeted, meaning you will see alot of people looking the same throughout this game. Also, chosing a name is hard because you can only use letters. I dont like this because my gaming names are like, thejoeman191, thejoeman911, dajoeman33, so on. These are some ups and downs to this game. I hope you found this helpful!

I was in the Open and Closed beta of this game and it rocked. This game is has potential to be a great MMORPG. It does need a better level system(I made it to lvl 10 in 15min). Pretty much you start out as a fighter or mystic. That's it. It's not very individual until you reach higher levels and then you can start branching of into other classes. Then there are newbs. I mean when us C.B. people where playing, we were newbs, but everyone was cool about it. As soon as O.B. came around, it was awful! They never stop begging. Then you have the hot-heads who think that they can kill you since PK is allowed. I'm okay with newbs because we were all newbs when we first began but these ones tick me off. I'll probably watch the game and when the newb disease has died down, I'll buy it. If you have no problem with newbs get it. It has some the best graphics in any genre of games. The controls are nice and it has a learning curve of about 1-1.5 hours. Like I said, good game, bad players.

Not worth your time

I have played Shadowbane, Lineage2 and World of Warcraft in Beta. Lineage 2 just isn't fun. While it has nice graphics, it's just too slow and too boring. Shadowbane has bad graphics and leveling is a grind but PvP is great. World of Warcraft has fantastic graphics and a very interesting world. PvP is not free for all but faction based so I don't have an oppinion yet.

I don't know what you are talking about!

When I firsted started playing this game I hated it, playing solo was hard. Some people are out there just to ruin your day. Once you join a clan and make some friends within the world of Aden, you'll start to enjoy it.
I've been playing for 2 years now and I have a lvl 75 Elf! That's the lvl cap, so I'm pretty happy with that. ^^

Sever is unstable, mobs disappear all the time

The game is OK. But the server is unstable and mob disapears frequently.

Horrible

This game is not great. Hardly any customization, two classes to begin with. Final Fantasy XI made this same mistake. Nobody wants to have to wait that long to get more classes. The interface is absolutely abysmal. Walking is a chore, and you'll be doing a lot of it. The camera is pathetic at best, non-existant at worst. Seriously. Do not play this game.

Looks good but....

This game had nice graphics.

The controls are TERRIBLE! Click a spot on the ground to move to it? Yeah that works great when you are trying to click a target to cast spells at and you miss you will start running towards it.

De-leveling: If you die you will go down levels. Although this is a fresh strategy from other games i've played, i'm already sick of it.

I can't stand games with poor controls so this game was a total waste of money. I was hoping to replace Dark Age of Camelot with it but even with all it's flaws, Dark Age of Camelot is better.

One of the worst online RPG's ever

Made by Koreans for Koreans. If you're not Korean, you probably won't get it. Endless monster farming (treadmill as bad as EQ), and a HORRID PK system that rewards griefing and punishes those who defend themselves. They tried to get it right, but failed very badly. Too bad, because the game is beautiful. Anime-style characters on lush, gorgeous backgrounds...too bad the game sucks so bad. Don't think I played to 10 and quit. I had a 48 archer and a 44 shillien elder, but the game was just so poor, it couldn't hold my interest. There's an endless carrot-on-a-stick mentality here, that unless you can pour 8-10 hours a day into this game, you'll be stuck in lowbie-land and high level characters, that have ample free-time (read: children, or unemployed's) can kill you easily.

The game is just an endless treadmill of leveling, buy next best gear, level, buy next best gear, etc. It offers very few quests and most are unimaginitive and make you run around the world arbitrarily, causing a further time-sink. The whole game is designed to keep you playing (and paying$$) for as long as possible, with little upgrades here and there to sate your hunger for power. The koreans eat it up. You probably won't. Wait for WoW or EQ2.

Has potential

Played this game for 3 weeks solid and got to level 22. Like most MMORPGs, it is typical... Kill monsters, get xp, level up, rinse repeat.

The reason I quit was because of all the Korean bots (unmanned macro players) that farm adena (their money) and sell it on ebay. Furthermore, there is a lack of respect for anyone who isn't an american and thus a lot of racial animosity.

Was fun while it lasted but far from being the game to invest time into building a character.
