WWF Smackdown! 2 isn't all that hot!

I bought Smackdown 2 about 3 and a half weeks ago, and well actually it's gonna pretty much everything you expected it to be, but really and truly it gets really boring. I'll tell you why. Because the moves are so limited and there is really little to choose from and soon u'll find urself wanting to pick different characters until you don't want to pick the loser guy or the person who sucks and ur fun is gonna be squashed pretty quickly.Also in what they call normal mode almost everything u do will get reversed when ur a beginner and u'll realise that u haft to do quick moves which get boring because u want to see the strong stuff and the special matches arent all that as well. this game is ok. and if ur not hard to please then get it.

This is undoughtedely the best wrestling game ever created. It is possible to put a created person in season and play as them and get matches but only if you enter them into the ranking so that they know what belt your going for. The game offers a wide viriety of matches (my favourate being hell in a cell), and allows you to do almost anything there is to do in the world wrestling federation. My regards to you are, if you are looking for the ultimate gaming experience, GET THIS GAME!!!

WWF Smackdown 2 is the best. The table matches are great for the rock because you can rock bottom someone through a table. The Pedigree is higher. It has the bangin hell in a cell. You can chokeslam someone through the top of the cell. TLC matches are the greatest because you can put someone through a table do moves off a ladder hit him with a chair or you lay someone on the table climb and do a swanton bomb with Jeff Hardy through the table. You can even go off the ramp. The People's Elbow is perfect. You can even have a casket match where you have to get your opponent in the casket to win and you could use the casket as a weapon. Tis the most electrifying game in sports entertainment!

This game is great. In SD2 you can play Hell in cell match, ladders, tables, iron man, tlc(tables,ladders,and chairs), hardcore, anywhere fall and many more.There are more than 60 superstars in the game including faviriots such as the Rock,Triple H , Stone Cold,and the Undertaker. Some people say the Big Show is not in the game but he is.The Big Show is UNKNOWN X but you have to creat him. Also if you play 50 years in the season mode on hard, or normal mode with any superstar you can play in a buried alive match. [....] Now for the problems, any where you go you see loading, loading,loading and this ruins most of the game. In season mode when ever someone is being attacked or something else there is loading.The Royal Rumble has been ruined because of this, every time somebody gets eleminated there is loading for about 20 seconds. There are 30 people in the royal rumble 29 get eleminted each person takes 20 seconds so thats about 9 extra minutes.I would have given this game 5 stars if there was no loading.But after a while you would probably get used to the loading. Smack Down 2 is great in graphics, gameplay, and tilt but its sound [is terrible]. There are no wrestler voices except in the begining of the game, and there is no commentry.They at least could have gotten hhh to say "I AM THAT DAM GOOD" or Stone cold to say "THATS THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO". But its still a fun game.

This game rules, the best wwe game for playstation as of right now (not counting PS2)

There are only a few bad things about this game....It takes up to much space in a memory card. And The TLC match can only be won if you beat the game.. It is hard. My choice of wrestlers are: Jeff Hardy, Lita, Matt Hardy, Stone Cold, and my created wrestler RAY MYSTERIO

This game rules, But rent it first before you buy it

I HAD A WHOLE LOTTA FUN PLAYING THIS GAME WHEN IT WAS ORIGINALLY RELEASED, AND I STILL HAVE A LOTTA FUN PLAYING IT TODAY. UNLIKE THE FIRST SMACKDOWN, WHICH HAS HAD ITS TIME AND IS NOW NO LONGER FUN TO PLAY, THIS GAME IS STILL ENJOYABLE. HAS A LOT MORE WWE WRESTLERS TO CHOOSE FROM, UNLIKE THE ORIGINAL GAME. AND IT HAS BETTER GRAPHICS AND A MUCH BETTER STORY MODE. I ALWAYS ENJOY PLAYING AS EITHER TRIPLE H OR TAZZ [MY ECW FAVORITE] ON THIS GAME. THIS IS STILL WORTH BUYING TODAY FOR ANY WWE FAN.

Smackdown:2 is a got to have game. If you have Playstation and you are looking for a good wrestling game, then, you've definetly got to get WWF: Smackdown 2 Know Your Role. This game is very fun with lots of interesting matches. The superstars actually look like the real thing, the graphics are also good. Warning: This game is very addictive, so if you are really a true Smackdown fan, then this a game that you have to own. And the coolest things are

1. The season mode is very good

2. The gameplay is easy

3. You get to fight at the Smackdown arena or Raw arena

4. You fight for many title belts

5. Many fun matches

These are just a little bit of the action of the game. If you want the real deal, then get WWF: Smackdown 2 Know Yor Role.

Just as good and in some ways better then the original

This game has the same graphics as the original but has a bigger match list. Hell In The Cell is on the card, TLC, and the Casket match which is lackluster. Season mode is done a little better, but would be greatly enhanced later on in the series. The game looks good, the controls remain the same, which is awesome. This is actually the last platinum game for the PS1 before the PS2, which would actually release one month after this. But congrats to WWE, the games keep getting better.

SMACKDOWN 2 KNOW YOUR OWN ROLE

The highly anticipated sequel to Smackdown is a big disappointment. The load time is tremendously long, some cut scenes do not even need to be in the game as they are a waste of time. The hell in the cell match is supremely overrated and the matches in the season mode make no sense whatsoever. They have people like the Rock fighting guys like Albert in the main event. A lot of the people do not look like themselve. Jericho looks nothing like himself, and Rikishi's body looks disfigured. The moves are very basic. There is no jaw dropping effects or moves about this game. Some hidden characters are not worth unlocking...like the unknowns...and who really wants to play as Michael Cole or Gerald and Pat to name a few. The change character during season mode has been scrapped in this game as well...so basically there are over 65 characters in the game and you're stuck with using one unless you start a season over. As I said the load time is so long and cut scenes so useless that you might want to take a nap before you get to fight. Smackdown 2, waste of money...rent it if you want to play, but don't waste your money.
